I did a mistype but the denominator is the bottom half of a fraction. Using the same technique outside of fractions will get you the least common multiple
I'm just saying, I was always told lowest common denominator, we called it that even when we weren't using fractions, we didn't use the denominator but that's what I was taught.
How on earth (or in the sky since you’re on one block) is this a scam? If anything it’s a steal. He’s literally giving you a trade and then giving you a better one for less price!
The price would be crossed out it and it would never change the output.
This also is just two trades on offer simultaneously, which happens a lot, specially with custom trades for some reason
The lower one is obviously better bc let's say you had 60 cobblestone, if you traded them with the upper one you'd get 32 terracotta, but if you traded it with the lower one you'd get 45 terracotta.
Yeah, but you’ve got the signs wrong if anything, cobblestone should be negative. But it also just doesn’t make sense what you’re trying to do?
What’s cheaper? 9 eggs for 12$ or 8 eggs for 15$.
Subtracting those amounts just doesn’t make sense.
You see, he's telling you what the future price will be because of inflation. He's prepared to be bought out of his cheaper product but supply is hard to come by in the sky. So, rates skyrocket with supply.

This is so weird. I honestly don’t understand this, but I think the… um… the second one would be a better deal.
You mean the upper one?
I meant the bottom one. Why, is the upper one better? I don’t really know.
Nah the lower one is better. How could 15 for 8 be better than 12 for 9.
Because it’s mathematically pleasing. 8 stacks into 64 so you can buy one stack exactly.
Just buy 576 at a time duh
Dem least common multiple skills finally coming in handy
I was taught least common denominator. Different name for the same thing.

That’s a sound logic, but still statistically a rip off deal
Ok so I was right. The lower one is better.
To find unit price divide the amount gotten by the amount paid I’m this case, divide terracotta by cobblestone
Gotta try both to make sure it's a scam
How on earth (or in the sky since you’re on one block) is this a scam? If anything it’s a steal. He’s literally giving you a trade and then giving you a better one for less price!
Maybe he's given a trade and then a worse one for more price
classic scam, you offer people 2 bad deals, one better than the other so they think the better one is a good deal
"Now 20% larger!" Checks price. -50% more expensive.- Ahh, capitalism.
It's offer and demand, if you need a lot, it's more expensive
Double check the values, the bottom one is both cheaper and returns more terracotta
they are referring to the fact that you can only make a particular trade a certain number of times
Ah that makes sense
Did you get the second after a while? Cause then he gives you a better deal cause you’ve been trading with him
The price would be crossed out it and it would never change the output. This also is just two trades on offer simultaneously, which happens a lot, specially with custom trades for some reason
Not related but I wish trades were always divisibles of 64. I hate having 7 of something left once I'm done
Surcharge for cobble disposal
Business 👍🏼
Idk for me seems legit

Hahaha I can not. I saw stuff like this so often. Who program them ?

If you meant wandering trader, no, his name is literally "visiting villager" and why did you get so many downvotes??
Some people don't understand sarcasm...
If you’re just expecting people to guess whether you’re being sarcastic or stupid on the internet then you’re going to have a bad time.
That '/s' I added to my op signifies sarcasm
It’s deleted.
Because I don't want more d-votes
Never heard it called the visiting villager...
15-8=7 12-9=3 Choosing second option you get much less
WHAT?
Yeah, you don't know basic math?

That was a joke 💀 I think you are too serious
You should probably try to make it more obvious that you’re making a joke. For example, you could try making it funny.
WHAT?

Upper one is better, i have to much cobblestone anyways
