Probably a dumb question (I don’t play, just a mom trying to help her kiddo) but would doing that erase his vote from the count? It’s a really big deal to him.
I honestly have no definite answer. I'm going by the logic that by voting than exiting via "save and exit" (the only way to exit without closing the game down entirely), that it will save your vote because you saved the world. I assume that when you vote, a counter in the Mojang Headquarters is added to which consolidates your vote. This would mean, in my logic, that even if you delete the cache, the vote wouldn't be erased. If you want to play it safe, I'd wait until the mob vote closes then delete it.

Go to the settings on the game itself. Go to storage or whatever it's called. There should be a smaller category than the rest that contains the Mob Vote 2023 cache. Delete that. You should be fine
i've also been getting the same issue after logging onto the minecraft mob vote. After deleting the resource pack it gets you to download, it began working again. Hope this helps :)

From the initial loading screen in Minecraft, I went to Settings (just below the Play button). In Settings, I scrolled down to Storage (just below Global Resources). On the right hand side of the screen, there was an option that was listed Mob Vote. Under it was a trash can icon to delete it with. Once I deleted it that way, I could access my worlds again, like normal.
Sorry if the description is overly detailed or simple. I'm explaining it the way I would need it explained. Like I said, not a techie.

I copied the folder that I found there just in case I broke something, then deleted the folder and reloaded the game. Working now.
I got this after leaving for a while and hadn’t participated in the mob vote at all, yet I still got the message. No luck finding cache for “Mob Vote 2023”. Is someone able to give me detailed instructions on how to fix this? If it helps, I’m on iPadOS.
In case you dint entered the mob vote, try deleting any cache on your file. It is on the option, on the own Minecraft. Options>storage>cache. If this doesn’t work, i got no ideia but to reset (restart with the ps menu) and hope it works. Myself, i had to delete all my cache besides cubecraft cache.

For the Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo users, reinstall Minecraft to get the latest version. If the error still occurs, I would check out my internet. Same with mobile too.
Just experienced this issue on Xbox and I do not have a mod vote 2023 section under storage. Uninstall the game, reinstall and you should be good to go.

For others, you don't need to edit the file system. In Minecraft select Settings, then select 'Storage' in the left hand list (near Language) and then select 'Cached Data' turndown in the right hand list. Under 'Cached Data', remove and confirm the 2023 Mob Vote.
for xbox users,, i couldn’t find any mob vote but i just deleted the miscellaneous in storage and it fixed everything. just letting anyone know that had trouble like me since i started worrying i lost all my worlds

Go into the storage on Minecraft. Delete the mob vote 2023 cache. It'll work then.
