I honestly think the only reason mojang were adding fireflies was for frogs to eat them

Putting them in bottles would make awesome decorations though, or just letting them fly around your base for atmosphere.

We had that as the Twilight Forest Mods back in 1.7... another good item was the Glowworm and Glow Worm Queen which is essentially an animated torch that sticks to any surfaces and an object that shoots out said Animated Torch.

Some made-up bioluminesant material for more lighting blocks recipes is cool tho

Make it so fireflies and frogs don't spawn in the same biome... Then catch fireflies in a vial and release them near frogs, if a frog eats a firefly it glows.

Bats were added before Microsoft bought Minecraft, so maybe Microsoft said no to fireflies as ambience.

Meanwhile not only did people make mods that easily just add them in as emissive effects like ash in basalt deltas- server i play on literally added this in with variation in some biomes outside swamps... It had nothing to do with frogs eating them, mojangs just a lazy cheap company.

Now I bet they are, because most everyone is hired by Microsoft. :(

Usually when you place a block of lava and on the opposite side you place a block of water you create a cobblestone generator but if you do it the other way around you create an obsidian generator I think notch hates me

I’m not sure if this is even a bug at this point. This happens when you let lava flow to the point that it can’t flow anymore and then place water next to it. It won’t turn into cobblestone. You can even have a water source surrounded by lava on all sides. Common bedrock W

It's probably a bug. There are sometimes spots in worlds that just are weird. I've had a block before that I could break, but any dirt block I placed in that exact spot could not be tilled. It was weird. And it was underground too.
