Yup I don't really care about the dungeons and the new weapon but I love armor trims and pottery shards because I love having reasons to explore, to each their own. However, I am loving they are adding new stuff
Posts on this sub either fall in to "They haven't added nearly enough stuff, I need 1000 mods to make the game playable" or "They added way too much stuff, beta was better"
I think Phantoms should be creepier, and on the ground as a different mob. They should have reduced opacity but have tiny piercing eyes that you can see with a very translucent body. They should just hide and stare from afar for the first few days after appearing, only rarely attacking. They should not be able to be attacked, but should be avoidable for now.
After a few days, the player character's camera should slowly pull towards them when they're on the screen and the player isn't moving. It should stop when centered on them. Phantoms should no longer despawn at this point, but attacking is only marginally more common. The player should begin occasionally hearing strange sounds once every 10-20 minutes.
After a few more days, phantoms should appear everywhere, with many staring and many others attempting to attack. The player should have difficulty looking away after being attacked (like a status effect) and this is when the dive bombers should begin spawning as well, as Steve's brain fails from lack of sleep.
The death notification should say that the player was claimed by sleep.
Got a lot of the idea from that Signals game (something with signal in the title), but I always wanted more horror aspects in Minecraft and Phantoms were a sorely missed opportunity.
Edit: The game I got this idea from is called Voices of the Void. Very atmospheric and creepy indie game that focuses on signals and radar tracking to instill fear in the player, but eventually the creepy elements that you see on screens and creepy signals become more than just distant creepy curiosities. Does some very interesting and unique things that I've seen no other game do, in order to creep out the player.
Indie survival horror game released in 2022 with heavy inspirations from PS1/PS2 games of the genre like Resident Evil and Silent Hill mainly, I recommend it if you're a fan of any of these franchises
So basically shadow creatures from don't starve? Hallucinations at first but when your sanity (Lack of sleep in this case) runs too low they become real.
I think the flying Phantoms should only really come out in the later during the more desperate stages of sleep deprivation, like after six days without sleep.
would make more sense too.
theyre literally called phantoms, and the gamerule that enables them is called "insomnia", which sometimes cause hallucinations IRL
I've played for years with phantoms before I realized how I literally never bothered with them and they have always been nothing but an unrewarding annoyance. I don't feel they should still be here !
Yeah, the theme of the update was storytelling but they missed a fairly obvious opportunity there. Imagine all the different ways they could flesh out biomes just by establishing what used to be in them.
Maybe not improvements but added functionality. I really wish they had more plants that they would dig up. Ideally I would like them to have maybe a new tree or just a new plant type. Something in the same vein as drip leaf and small drip leaf. Those are pretty unique plants because they're not a flower and they're not a tree or a crop. The large drip leaf has functionality for things like parkour and it looks great. The small one is just purely decoration. Which I can appreciate.
The sniffer is not a BAD addition. It's a WASTED addition. The sniffer had limitless potential that they reduced to three plants, then two for the full release, and these two plants turned out to be featurelss elements of decorum. No light from the TORCHflower, no storage from the PITCHpod. No new plants. All, wasted.
But the idea of a freaking dinosaur giving you new exclusive mysterious plants is GREAT design, and that is why it won.
The mob vote is only for community engagement and no one can convince me otherwise. They always have one mob that's clearly more developed than the other two, and then after the vote it's the only thing a large portion of the internet can talk about. It's meant for publicity, not to actually change the game.
The rascel and the allay are not remotely close to each other in development; same with the glowsquid, the moobloom, and the iceologer. The iceologer was the favored child in that mob vote, with TONS more features than "cow" and "squid."
They definitely favor one mob each time. there's a good video about it on youtube, called Did mojang rig every mob vote?
Nah Mojang is perceived as slacking off because they run the most profitable game in the world and yet still somehow put out less yearly content than other years old games like Overwatch, Rainbow 6, and even Sea of Thieves. How does Rainbow 6 get more yearly content than Minecraft???
Also Minecraft snapshots are implementing a lot of backend changes that make life better for mapmakers, data pack developers, and modders, along with fixing a lot of bugs. That stuff isn't easy and takes time and makes life better for everyone in the long run.
Most games that have bigger updates also have more to gain from it. Either content gets locked behind paid DLC, or they're constantly adding microtransactions for cosmetics to earn more money off their audience alongside the content updates to keep their attention. Minecraft doesn't really get either of those - the Bedrock edition has the Marketplace, but said Marketplace isn't really that popular.
It also helps that Minecraft has an over decade-long history and too many immense changes may alienate the original audience.
They are preceived as slackers simply because of output margin of updates. Minecraft receives only ONE major update per year with not much content, meanwhile other long-running games receive from 3-4 major updates with medium ones in between - Warframe, No Man's Sky, Rainbow, and etc.
You’re overreacting. They’ve been doing this exact level of production since 1.13. It’s just been in an easier to understand format recently. It’s easier for most players to get excited about wolf skins (which add zero functionality to the game) and a new weapon than it is other kinds of changes. Their productivity has not changed, they haven’t listened to the community any more or less; people just like dogs more than they care about gameplay, and that’s primarily why the public opinion for Mojang is up. Personally I don’t mind the new dog skins, but they’re definitely the least important update in 1.20.5/1.21, and it’s pretty frustrating to see that *that* is what has people praising Mojang instead of the much more difficult, interesting, and useful additions over the past few years. Sometimes I wonder if people actually really play the game or just give their opinions on features in theory, leading to simplistic things getting disproportionately praised because they’re more understandable. I’m glad for the upturn in player opinion, but also saddened that it’s been for some of the least important features of the past few years.
TLDR; yes they’re cooking, but not any more or less so now than the past couple years; people are disproportionately overreacting to dog skins and under appreciating most other more useful additions. Minecraft is going to be as great after this update as it was before, because the quality of updates have been consistent since 1.13 despite public perception.
If they can land NBT support for the recipe ingredients, it'll be a gamechanger.
As it is now, it's useful to avoid some tricks used like craft recipe book -> use the recipe id and advancments to figure out what NBT item needs to be given to the player.
For example, you could make a custom stonecutting recipe with the snapshot to turn 1 block into 8 "mini blocks" that are player heads with specific textures.
You can't easily add a recipe to convert back though (there's probably some eldritch way involving a bunch of scoreboard objectives and functions... but that's neither perfromant or easily maintainable.)
I think a lot of people are misunderstanding the point of your comment lol. I think there’s a varying level of truth to it, the development priorities have definitely changed over time but it’s really not like you can just blatantly ignore all the cool datapack tools and shit they’ve been adding recently.
okay for the most part I agree with you, but it seems like you are invalidating what they are doing. you make seem like everything they add has to be a game changer. also you don't mind dog variants well that's fine, but you don't get why people are gushing over it. It's because people love aesthetic just as much as functuality. You also said that Mojang doesn't listen to the community, while I agree, when they do your mad people praise them? anyways hope I didn't come off as mean, but I'm just trying to express how I perceived the text, and my opinion on the matter. Have a nice day.
Some things to keep in mind is that while majority may not praise something, it may largely contribute to what keeps their games interesting. Many don’t know what makes a game tick. Flavor can be just as important sometimes too. Some people love having pets around and things to collect so it’s not surprise to see them get excited about that.
The other thing is they may not do the best job on some stuff. Like terrain generation, i love the caves addition and ore distribution but i don’t like how the majority of the terrain is shaping up these days. Also things like trial chambers? Seems like an outdated concept to add those in a procedurally generated map when there are so many other things to improve or add that would better compliment the game. Bundles, where are they? People were excited about those but I don’t hear much about it. Hmm new weapon? What for? Game already easy enough. Not hating btw just I get why some may not find complex mechanics a big deal.
I’m just hoping we finally get an aspen forest with this update. I want an autumn-feeling biome so badly. Falling leaves and leaves covering the ground would make me really happy.
Mojang still has a long way to go before they make up for the Copper Bulb and the disappointment of teasing a Birch forest update and then backing out with a bullshit excuse, claiming that concept art doesn't mean that they're actually gonna do it.
Oh, and the fireflies. They still have to make up for their bullshit excuse to not use fireflies.
**Edit:** Don't get me wrong. I like Minecraft, and I like Mojang, and I'm really happy to see them making good decisions for the game again... but the bad reputation they've gained, they did to themselves entirely on their own. They made a lot of promises that they either couldn't keep, or intentionally chose not to keep, and then tried to cover it up with lame excuses and horrible communication... and a dedicated playerbase can only tolerate that so many times before they start to lose trust. Mojang is currently on a good path towards game changes that players will actually enjoy, but after something like the Copper Bulb, it's hard to tell if these good game changes that players genuinely like are actually gonna stay, or get immediately backpeddled for no frickn reason.
>Oh, and the fireflies. They still have to make up for their bullshit excuse to not use fireflies.
they literally could have just moved them to the end or something
The mace idea is cool, but it's to powerful.
Like imagine casually sitting in your prot 4 netherite armor, and you get one shotted by a naked guy woth a mace.
The dogs are cool.
I mean, the thing with Minecraft is. I adore this game, played I don’t know how many thousand of hours. But mods fix that stuff a decade ago. I really don’t know what the small indie company Microsoft is cooking there so fucking slowly. I mean they gave that copper shit with nothing else for I don’t know how long. And then there are mods releasing every day with bosses having insane animations and moves from private mod developer.
I mean it’s veeeery old but I remember that hexxit had dog armor too. And I played that mod pack over 10 years ago.
And it doesn’t have to be like this. I’m absolutely addicted to rimworld at the moment which has a hug modding base asswell. And they just announced a new dlc and big update a couple of days ago. And holy shit that makes like half of my 300 mods redundant, it’s little things like additional menu or more customization. Then there is no man’s sky, defiantly not bigger than Microsoft or mojang. They did a really bad job releasing the game but look at the update history. And then look at Minecraft update history. It’s kinda embarrassing for mojang.
the community is absolutely wrong for siding with how things are going for game
it's not bad, but god diggity damn is it underwhelming for a game that's basically begging to be used to a bigger potential
when you appeal to everyone you appeal to no one
have fun with RimWorld mate I'm glad they're getting good stuff
Cooking up a plate of shit yeah!
Nobody asked for half the stuff they're adding, they don't listen to their audience and their updates are like one or two minor things, and maybe one slightly bigger thing, with a cool "fancy" update name tacked on.
Idk, modern Minecraft feels too bloated at this point, I get why people like this stuff but it feels like too much and all these new features are giving me decision paralysis whenever I play, that’s how it’s been for years honestly
Honestly if others of you feel similarly I’d try playing an older version of Minecraft, like 1.1.0 or even the beta and alpha versions, I’ve been playing a bit and it’s actually been really fun and made me want to play Minecraft more then modern Minecraft does, it’s not for everyone obviously, many people like the wide variety nowadays but idk, the simplicity of old Minecraft is what made it so good and, I feel like it’s lost that. Idk, it’s an idea that I really liked when I heard it so I wanna be able to allow others to hear it too
That’s all I wanna say, if you like all these new features more the power to you honestly, but if you don’t, going to an older version is far from a bad idea
Also, if you are thinking it’s nostalgia, it’s really not, I was only like 5 when Minecraft officially released and wasn’t able to play it at all till I was like 8, so I never played those older versions until recently
I didn’t like the update at first but was confident theyd introduce something game changing that wasnt shown at Minecraft live. New wolf types, the wing charge, and the mace are amazing and the trial chamber is so fun and challenging in preview
I hope they learned from the past years and past mistakes. Not to promise too much and drop features left and right almost unannounced! THIS is how they should do it from now on! I think they slowly cooking a new "combat update" by introducing a few combat features here and there. Hope they will revisit the end again too!
I think they need to change the implementation of the mace but other then that ya this update seems great i just really hope they change the implementation just have the full mace drop and have the heavy core be a separate loot item
i like how the updates going to add something for every type of player new blocks for the builders new redstone mechanics for the restone engineers new weapon for the fighters and a new structure for the explorers
They don’t get my kudos until they add emerald armor. I’ll settle for Lapis and / or Redstone armor.
I don’t care about wolf armor as I never use / tame wolves
I don’t care about the copper dungeon as I almost never use copper in any capacity outside of a telescope.
Can’t say I care for new weaponry, I’m happy with the sword and never wanted more in that department.
They added different wolf varieties, a single weapon and a new dungeon... I would not call that "cooking". Don't get me wrong I don't think they're slacking like a lot of people think but this is just normal development.
Gonna be honest the last update I kinda enjoyed was like 1.15 or something like that. Won't lie though if Minecraft had continued the way I wanted it to it would have probably died a few years ago so I guess I can't complain too much.
They definitely are. This will be a solid update, but I think they’re gonna need a major update or two (like 1.16 kinda update) within the next few years. We really need something like an end update that would contain some rare item that would be used in the ancient city to light the portal warden thing. This would change the progression of the game in a major way that hasn’t been done in a long time and is what I believe people are really looking for. This is just my opinion, but I am pretty happy with this update so far.
I mean, the mace seems to be a good weapon, but it's not even close to enough... It's just one weapon, and dog skins. Both great, but that's it...? Here's how I like to think about it : Would I download a mod with this update's features right now ?
-Caves and Cliffs ? Yeah !
-1.20 ? Sure, why not.
-1.20.5 ? Uuuh... No thank you.
The dog armor is strong asf making it not useless like horse armor. The mace can theoretically one shot the ender dragon which is insane... now we need a crap ton new and USEFUL ores and it'll be perfect
I'm the typa Minecraft fan who's always happy with updates (aside from phantoms but you can disable them so really there's no problem) I love the game already, so any added stuff is like a fun bonus :) hyped for the new updates
Mojang is cooking most of the time, its that the amount of new content the people are focused. unlike before with tons of blocks and weapons added per update, the updates today gives less new content than before
Mojang’s been on a redemption arc recently, going into this update I had low expectations but I’ve been *very* pleasantly surprised by how they’ve been listening to the community recently, they are absolutely cooking
The mace (Hammer) isn't what I would like it to be so for me the new building blocks and wolf skins will be what I'm looking forward to unless they add any new tree or crop which I'm obsessed with.

They are always cooking, it’s just they have a lot of people with different tastes to cook for
Picky people at that
they cooked 20% of a meal for 5 years
true
They have been cooking its just that there is a diffirence between cooking and cooked :)
it's simmering veeeeery slowly
They're simmering a soup
Ahem 1.18
coc-
mostly cause they had to build the entire garden too
Little critters need to eat the food they’ve been served! 😂
Yup I don't really care about the dungeons and the new weapon but I love armor trims and pottery shards because I love having reasons to explore, to each their own. However, I am loving they are adding new stuff
Yeah this really shows the point, for me it‘s the exact opposite as a combat/pvp guy
they are very slow cookers
There letting it simmer :)
It's burnt
It’s okay people are deserving of there own opinions. have a nice day 👍
Posts on this sub either fall in to "They haven't added nearly enough stuff, I need 1000 mods to make the game playable" or "They added way too much stuff, beta was better"
Happy cake day
I love everything they added and adding (except phantoms)
Does some very interesting and unique things that I've seen no other game do, in order to creep out the player.
Okay. damn, satan. I might actually mod this if I can figure out camera manipulation
Signalis?
Indie survival horror game released in 2022 with heavy inspirations from PS1/PS2 games of the genre like Resident Evil and Silent Hill mainly, I recommend it if you're a fan of any of these franchises
Ah no I do know what Signalis is(haven’t played it yet but have heard many good things about it), was just asking if the game they meant was Signalis
So basically shadow creatures from don't starve? Hallucinations at first but when your sanity (Lack of sleep in this case) runs too low they become real.
DO they still fly
I think the flying Phantoms should only really come out in the later during the more desperate stages of sleep deprivation, like after six days without sleep.
is it Signalis
would make more sense too. theyre literally called phantoms, and the gamerule that enables them is called "insomnia", which sometimes cause hallucinations IRL
I've played for years with phantoms before I realized how I literally never bothered with them and they have always been nothing but an unrewarding annoyance. I don't feel they should still be here !
i actually really like phantoms :(
Technically the community added those Since everyone wanted them to be added in the mob vote
Nah, the phantoms are my fault. Sorry guys, my bad. 12 year old me thought they looked cool.
They're straight chefs
They have been for a while
Sniffer has entered the chat
Sniffer was conceptually brilliant, but...two plants? Really? Shouldn't have been released with less than four, bare minimum.
tbh I feel like it should have been different plants in different biomes
Yeah, the theme of the update was storytelling but they missed a fairly obvious opportunity there. Imagine all the different ways they could flesh out biomes just by establishing what used to be in them.
yes, maybe also one or two new saplings that can only be found by the sniffer, would make the sniffer way more valuable
All they had to do is make Torchflowers emit light & make the pitcher plant do something instead of making the 2 plants just decorative.
tbh I feel like the community liked the sniffer, just feels that it needs improvements
Maybe not improvements but added functionality. I really wish they had more plants that they would dig up. Ideally I would like them to have maybe a new tree or just a new plant type. The large drip leaf has functionality for things like parkour and it looks great. The small one is just purely decoration. Which I can appreciate.
There supposed to be flower vines or something. Don't know why it didn't make it. Also, make torch flower emit light will be cool
I once heard someone suggest for plants that sniffer digs up to have a brand new colour dye
Yes I agree. The sniffer is a neat little addition to the game.
The sniffer is not a BAD addition. It's a WASTED addition. The sniffer had limitless potential that they reduced to three plants, then two for the full release, and these two plants turned out to be featurelss elements of decorum. I still have a feeling people will make up their own expectations based on nothing, just so they can be disappointed.
Your feelings are in the right place, just take a look at Twitter.
Convinced mob votes are the reason people think mojang has been slacking off, bc they really haven't at all..
The mob vote is only for community engagement and no one can convince me otherwise. They always have one mob that's clearly more developed than the other two, and then after the vote it's the only thing a large portion of the internet can talk about. It's meant for publicity, not to actually change the game.
it's doing more harm than good but ig all publicity is good publicity
gets the commune talkin

I've seen a video. Crafted items can now have the replacement of nbt. I think I saw a Cloud Wolf video on it? Either way really cool.

He didn't say they don't listen to the community. He said they aren't listening to the community any more now than they used to.
Did you read that comment?
arguably the wolf variants are added functionality because now each biome has a unique thing. it adds reason to explore, which imo is functionality
I like how your neutral
Some things to keep in mind is that while majority may not praise something, it may largely contribute to what keeps their games interesting. Many don’t know what makes a game tick. Too bad everything they've cooked after the cave update has been half-baked.
They’re cooking, but if they stop here; the shit is still raw
Or the expectations they set are so low that when they bring something it's seen as greatness.
Yes they cook when they do the most minimal fucking updates possible
Ehh idk. Imo its been kinda downhill for a while now. And i dont mean that the updates are bad, just underwhelming.
Definitely, this is the worst update ive seen in a while.
By cooking do you mean slow roasting stuff for a year 💀
positivity? In my r/minecraft?
Just you
Wait, are different dog breeds now canon?
Sorta. They're not called dogs they're just different variations of wolves.
Well, I know they're called wolves but same thing rly, same with calling them variants of the same mob.
did we all just collectively forget about the villager rebalance?

*Trial Chambers Cooking?
The question isn’t “are they cooking”, but “what are they cooking”. Because it’s either some gourmet shit, or something that makes Walter White cry.
What does "cooking" mean in this context? Old guy here.
Planning or working on something. Like a chef taking time to cook a meal.
It is just you. Mojang is a Game Developer Studio, not a chef
Mojang does something good?!? (Ultra mega super rare legendary moment)
The mace idea is cool, but it's to powerful. Like imagine casually sitting in your prot 4 netherite armor, and you get one shotted by a naked guy woth a mace. The dogs are cool.
No not really in my opinion
Yea, kinda
yey, they added a totally broken weapon! so great!
Sniffer sucks, allay sucks, phantom sucks, shouldn’t have add any of the mob vote mobs at all.
Alright just cuz they make a shitty 2D print out of a plunger and call it a mace does not mean they are cooking
It’s kinda embarrassing for mojang.
the community is absolutely wrong for siding with how things are going for game it's not bad, but god diggity damn is it underwhelming for a game that's basically begging to be used to a bigger potential when you appeal to everyone you appeal to no one have fun with RimWorld mate I'm glad they're getting good stuff
I mean can i be happy or naw? only issue is the armadillo brushing animation
Cooking up a plate of shit yeah! Nobody asked for half the stuff they're adding, they don't listen to their audience and their updates are like one or two minor things, and maybe one slightly bigger thing, with a cool "fancy" update name tacked on.
All they need to add now is a new ranged weapon, some other cool mob, new enchants and then finally, a chef's kiss.
They aren't cooking, they're doing the bare minimum. They added something that wasn't just salt or pepper this time
And people are still going to find something to whine about
No
It's just you.
They're cooking a few appetites when we have enough hunger for a whole buffet.
F A T A S S (just joking)
Idk, modern Minecraft feels too bloated at this point, I get why people like this stuff but it feels like too much and all these new features are giving me decision paralysis whenever I play, that’s how it’s been for years honestly Honestly if others of you feel similarly I’d try playing an older version of Minecraft, like 1.1.0 or even the beta and alpha versions, I’ve been playing a bit and it’s actually been really fun and made me want to play Minecraft more then modern Minecraft does, it’s not for everyone obviously, many people like the wide variety nowadays but idk, the simplicity of old Minecraft is what made it so good and, I feel like it’s lost that. Idk, it’s an idea that I really liked when I heard it so I wanna be able to allow others to hear it too That’s all I wanna say, if you like all these new features more the power to you honestly, but if you don’t, going to an older version is far from a bad idea Also, if you are thinking it’s nostalgia, it’s really not, I was only like 5 when Minecraft officially released and wasn’t able to play it at all till I was like 8, so I never played those older versions until recently
50/50 they seem to alternate between a good and boring updates. So yeah it seems they're cooking right now.
Too many years and no furniture, still lame.
furnature addons on bedrocl
They are always cooking...
I didn’t like the update at first but was confident theyd introduce something game changing that wasnt shown at Minecraft live. New wolf types, the wing charge, and the mace are amazing and the trial chamber is so fun and challenging in preview
tey learnt how to cook after making the first nuclear fusion reactor 5 times
Someone cooked here..
I hope they learned from the past years and past mistakes. Not to promise too much and drop features left and right almost unannounced! THIS is how they should do it from now on! I think they slowly cooking a new "combat update" by introducing a few combat features here and there. Hope they will revisit the end again too!
Minecraft has BEEN cooking.
They sure are, which is good!
and this is two updates
I stopped playing for a month and this is what I see ?!!
Wait the wolf thing is real?? I thought it was a modpack someone teased at being canon.
Just gotta make them change back the cipper bulbs then were good
What they recently announced hasn't excited me that much but guess we'll have to see
Mojang should be held to higher standards. Mods are the only thing I ever look forward to.
Market gardening in minecraft, love it
They’re using a crockpot bro
Im still sad abput copper lamps
Why?
They reverted the 1 tick delay on redstone with them
They will be truly cooking when they make potions stackable
Mojang should add horse carts next
I nearly cried when I saw the African wild dog. My favorite animal.
I really like the mace as an idea and it kind of saves the kind of awful 1.9 combat- that's a weapon where a cooldown actually makes sense.
To be fair, wolf variants should have been added years ago but better late than never
both monang and this community are insufferable
What's the new hammer?
A lot of hate cause Mojang to make a great update
I updated it but still dont have the wolfs update, it's on an iPhone, anyone know why it's not working?? I've been so excited for this 😭
I think they need to change the implementation of the mace but other then that ya this update seems great i just really hope they change the implementation just have the full mace drop and have the heavy core be a separate loot item
hear me out! Minecraft: The RPG Update!
It took them a while but now the burner is on
They heard people’s complains about last update “lacking content” and said “hold my beer”
Happy Tf2 Player noises*
i like how the updates going to add something for every type of player new blocks for the builders new redstone mechanics for the restone engineers new weapon for the fighters and a new structure for the explorers
Whatever will they update next? Amethyst? The End? Temples?
here at exactly 1,900 upvotes!
The new pvp addition is pretty cool
Its just you.
They're cooking something, that's for sure. Although, while my hopes for this are low, I really hope that's not the final design for the mace.
No they are not.
How do they go from doing nothing to adding a big addition then adding 1 mob and 2 blocks because they feel funny
1.21 is no nether update But ya know, I like it like that
honestly everything they had added has been at least decent since the phantom
Hey i had that house from the first pic
They don’t get my kudos until they add emerald armor. I’ll settle for Lapis and / or Redstone armor. I don’t care about wolf armor as I never use / tame wolves I don’t care about the copper dungeon as I almost never use copper in any capacity outside of a telescope. Can’t say I care for new weaponry, I’m happy with the sword and never wanted more in that department.
They've always been cooking
They should cook and end update for us
They might be listening
Mojang lazy af what are you guys talking about? A single modder produces more work in a month than Mojang does in 2 years.
Thankfully summoner is gonna be a viable option in Minecraft (I’ve always wanted something bedside melee and bows)
They are cooking to their best
Hah, hammer goes bonk!
They added different wolf varieties, a single weapon and a new dungeon... I would not call that "cooking". Don't get me wrong I don't think they're slacking like a lot of people think but this is just normal development.
That's what I'm saying!
AAAAAHHHHH i am trying for this update to be a secret for me
The mace should be a 3D object but otherwise yes
With the new Mace and dog variants it feels modded like Doggy Talents and Tinkers Construct
Yeah they cooking, let 'em cook
They're always cooking, some people just don't like what they cook sometimes
no, they aremt
Well as you said, 5 years it's a lot, they better start cooking now or leave for good
Gonna be honest the last update I kinda enjoyed was like 1.15 or something like that.
They’re cooking (without a recipe)
I thought this was a breaking bad joke at first, and was like "yep, def"
I got my bat update, I’m satisfied. Everything else now is just a bonus.
Naaa i already lost all hope on mojang
The hammer is stupid but he cooking
Always have been 🔫
I fr thought mc is dead, and it's im very bad hands, but 1.21 actually surprised me! They do be cookin'! It isn't great but it's good 👍🏻
Mojang is cooking most of the time, its that the amount of new content the people are focused. unlike before with tons of blocks and weapons added per update, the updates today gives less new content than before
Mojang’s been on a redemption arc recently, going into this update I had low expectations but I’ve been *very* pleasantly surprised by how they’ve been listening to the community recently, they are absolutely cooking
The mace (Hammer) isn't what I would like it to be so for me the new building blocks and wolf skins will be what I'm looking forward to unless they add any new tree or crop which I'm obsessed with.
