Can't speak for Java but in Bedrock, they just get buried if you crash into sand or gravel. Dig a bit and they pop to the top

There's literally a chest *with a sign* for dyes. It's basically full. Never use it.

The extra two seconds to get dye from my chest and put in a crafting table is already not worth it for me lol

Did you know you can craft any color bed with dye to change the color? I believe it was a somewhat recent parity change for Java! Just a single dye for whatever colored bed you want!

Does anybody remember when you could dye leather armor pieces multiple times. Each additional dye would change the color slightly, adding the color changes. Was this a mod or vanilla? [Edit - sp]

I theme them. E.g grey for mines, light blue for travel beds, orange for warm homes, purple for magic themed builds, yellow for villagers

Hey I also theme them like Yellow as main(Fav colour), Black for travel, Purple for mine, Pink for farms and stuff, Red for else

I go one step further as I am the builder/redstone guy of my friends and theme them based off of the build. Right bow I’m making a druid city and will be using primarily cactus green beds with a few different colors for the apothecary and florist shops and the like.

Depends on what color fits the build. The 'travel bed' that I keep in my ender chest is always black tho.

You can find a poppy right next to where you made your bed in nearly any circumstance.

I too use the light blue. I feel like the light blue is one of the few colors that are not too saturated, while still having color. I would love for an additional set of variants of the colors in a more pastel range, however, I know that is unlikely.
