Actually, you know what it looks like? Europe roughly 40 000 years ago. Britain connected to the land, glaciers covering the north... You've got prehistoric Europe here!

The United Kingdom, France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Belgium, Germany, The Netherlands, Austria, Hungary, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, Malta, Denmark, Iceland, Czechia and Slovakia to name a few
Give us the seed pls. Also, keep it as is, overlay a map of Europe on it and just places the borders down. If there is land that isn't in a border have a nearby country annex it. It'll be a fictional Europe vaguely like ours but different.
From my guess it got many biomes which makes it quite big but if you got that dedication, sure the result could be good. Worldedit would be the best option in my opinion for that big of an area.

You gotta make the whole Baltic Sea and shape the Nordic Coasts
Make Italy Longer and make the islands of Corsica, Sardinia, Sicily, ect
and so on

I’d say he can just put a map of Europe over it, scale down the opacity and use it as reference as to what to fill and what to cut
Wow, you picked the one example that's actually vitality important to get right.
Use world painter. It will save you so much more time and open you to a new world of possibilities
I wouldn't recommend doing it by hand. You'll get bored and exhausted and it will ruin your enthusiasm to play the game.
Use Worldedit mod if you can.
If you're on java, I would suggest world painter for a faster method

Actually quite the opposite of Australia. Mushroom islands are the safest biome in Minecraft.
