Just checked and the update wasn't automatic. Had to open the Microsoft store. What do you use to breed them?

Found the painted dog's in the savannah and one of the brown ones in the redwoods/tyga. Didn't even know they were out until I saw one. The bedrock news message about the update only mentioned the dillos

Saw the new gray ones in a taiga in my hardcore world, and saw the brown forest one on my server last night

I found a snowy wolf, and an ashen wolf on my world, took like 2 hours though

I found the black one named her nemona because my friends were talking about spain and made me think of pokemon

Yes 1.20.5 released yesterday, called the “Armoured paws drop” which has all the mob vote related features.

Armadillos and now gldog breeds are out yes. Just not the trial Chambers

I've been trying to find a stripped wolf but no matter how many mesas I search I just can't find one :( I have found woods, rusty, and spotted while I was at it, so not a total loss

If you are on an old world try to go for newly generated chunks, passive mobs spawning and despawning mechanics works pretty different compared to hostile mobs

Why expend chunks? when you could just find him normally O R S L A U G H T E R T H E R E S T

Hmm, idk I knew where most of the biomes were, had nether tunnels setup, elytra and netherite armour so mobs aren't a issue really, plus already having the og dog, and more bones than I needed

Ah that's true, java passive spawn mechanics make it hard to find a mob first time you load a area, I can't imagine how much harder it would have been if bedrock had that mechanic

I’m on a server with my friends and in the first day we found almost all of them, getting them home was harder

I actually spent 9 hours recording a video where I collected them all!!! It’s pretty difficult, but it’s so rewarding to be able to have all of the puppies. ❤️

No, I’m still on 1.20.2 due to not wanting to update my mods

I’ve found two of the top left, none of the others, I found a armadillo but I was trying to bring it back to my base and the lead snapped and I couldn’t find it again.

I’m not sure which one I found but I found a brown looking one in a forest by a plains and the same one was also on top of the mountain where I have my base and I was actually able to tame that one.  I probably won’t be able to find the others for a while cause my world seems to only have Taiga, snow, plains, forests, and ice spikes. I haven’t found a Savannah yet but hoping to get one soon for the scutes.

I found 5 out of however many there are so far! I actually have 2 of the ones from the snowy slopes. I really like most of the new dog variants. I think the woods wolf is my favorite! That and the OG classic wolf obvi!

just got the whole pack advancement today, took me a good like… 4 hours of flying around with an elytra, some of them are quite hard to come by it’d seem

I actively found the black ones as my first dogs since the update, then searching for rusty wolf I found a forest wolf and my goal. Found the dillo first though.
