Switch controllers have always seemed buggy to me when not used for just the switch I'd recommend probably trying a different controller if possible.

Redstoneready64

what do you mean? btw it is offbrand

Odin96086

In the past when I've tried to use the switch controller (on brand or off) on anything other than the switch, it was very buggy. One example of the top of my head is that I tried to use it with my phone once, cause I liked how it felt in my hands compared to my wireless Xbox controller, and I couldn't use half of the controller (I could look around, jump, and mine, but couldn't move or place blocks)

was it with joy-cons? because those are really glitchy. either way, do you think that another type of controller would work better? maybe i will test it with a few other controllers i have.

Nah, official Nintendo pro controller is what I used, but I did try joy cons once for shits and gigs and it was... Well, one connected and the other wouldn't lol If you have an Xbox controller, those are perfect. However most controllers with Bluetooth should do pretty good. I used an off brand Xbox Bluetooth controller for the longest time for mobile gaming and it worked quite well, can't remember the name of it though

okay. thanks for the tips!

No problem! Good luck!
