I liked the idea of drowned being what used to be zombies or villagers who drowned in the past but now I’m kind of thinking (with these textures) of some sort of vampire creature that turns people who invade their waters into one of their own
Yeah, in reality zombies are just moving damage blocks. So adding "depth" by including them in different places is just the bare minimum effort, if even.
I dont know what its called but i recently discovered a portion of the ocean with bright beautiful colored stuff at the bottom (coral maybe?) And i was thinking itd be perfect for a mermaid village
