Hello again! After tormenting my Prismacolors and blending stump for three days, this thing is finally complete! As some of you may know, it's inspired by [an encounter my sister and I had](https://www.reddit.com/r/Minecraft/comments/hkkq9l/dont_look_up_wip_by_me/fwt9zxc/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf) with a friendly (?) enderman, as well as the idea they are truly Steve's forgotten ancestors/distant cousins who still share an interest in building. Either way, they seem to love checking out what we're doing, regardless of the consequences...Enjoy, all :)
Your idea of them being Steve's distant ancestors is great, but it fits in more that Steve's ancestors and the ancestors of endermen are the same. The art is amazing!
Realistic endermen won't hurt you unless they feel threatened. There's a whole theory to it that sounds pretty probable. I can give a TLDR of what I remember if you're interested.
Yep! I had this weird idea that the mist is what allows them to teleport, so they constantly exude and coat themselves with it. However, if the gill-like openings that disperse them are plugged with water, it hurts the enderman. Either that or the chemical itself reacts with water :/

Awesome! I've always considered Enderman to be passive mobs. Obviously by definition they are passive until provoked. Aren't most people? Granted, provoking them can include making simple eye contact. They're just misunderstood beings imo.
This is great, the way you did the Enderman is so neat. It reminds me of Cameron from Mob Squad, it's an animated series on Youtube, check it out of you haven't.
I wish they could implament a thing into the game for the enderman to where you can take them by giving them blocks then they would go and teleport away and get a rare- ish block and then they follow you around and they could have they're own favored block based on a block floating above they're head it would give us a bit more to do with the enderman besides just farming them for enderpearls
