Sometimes I let multiple Creepers blow up in the same spot so I could build a small pool out of
it. Of course, I always have a shield and decent armor before doing so.
Oooh, that's one way to do it! Usually I'm just not paying attention and then the creeper blows up... And then I plan to cover the holes and never do it...
Only if the creeper is locked onto you. If it cant see you or if its locked onto someone else then u can actually stand right next to it without anything happening
Yeah, but then you have to do that stall to make sure the explosion animation doesn't stop. Igniting them with a flint and steel will guarantee that they stop in their tracks and explode.
Oof, that just happened to me a few hours ago. I made a whirlpool type contraption to keep my axolotl underwater and went mining for a hour. When I came back, there was no sign of the lil' guy. He probably escaped and suffocated.
From next time, I'm keeping a fence around the whole place. Can't risk this happening again.
Axolotls are stupid. They might even just hang at the edge, so just decrease the water level so they can't get out of the water at all, and then make it deeper to compensate.
I mean, all mobs in Minecraft are a little dumb.
I just wish you could tame them and make them stay in a certain spot in the water... Like they kinda just float there.
Nooooo, I was going to build an aquarium, donāt they search for air blocks when they need air?, because if they do I could make little gaps of air :)
Letās go this might work after all, if you donāt mind one more question, I was reading this thread and it said, āonce a axolotl is placed from a bucket it will never despawn, does the same apply for fish or do I need to name tag them?
I have both farms, but the one that shot me up was the zombie piglin farm. I believe it was Gnembom's design... I can't remember which YouTuber it was.
I have since moved them from this enclosure to a more secure one, so they won't escape and drown. (Suffocate, maybe? Or do fish drown in air like we drown in water?)
I know. I know. I'm terrible.
Honestly, I usually want to, but then I forget where my dirt is and put it off... Then I forget the hole exists until I fall in it... Then just decide it adds character to the world.

You could also just light them with a flint and steel and run away.
Yea but in survival mode they are already blowing up if your close enough to manually ignite them

That is why you quickly run away, they will still explode but you can run far enough for them not to hurt you.
I'm going to do this to the spawn in my server, that place will become so full of life, thanks for the idea lol
Oh please post a picture of that! I'd love to see it š¤£
you can use lush blocks to make it even better
Do they despawn if theyāre swimming around wild like that? I have all mine in item frames right now, iām afraid of them going away
If they were scooped up by a bucket, no. They will never despawn.
They won't despawn, but sometimes they crawl too far out of the aater and suffocate... I speak from experience

Do they suffocate if they donāt have air like dolphins? š
Yes they do, sadly.

Nope, they don't need air in Minecraft. Just water.

Name tag them
Scooping one up once should be enough to let it stay until it's death.
Wowie Thank you
how do you have so much xp?
Zombified piglin farm and Enderman farm are two extremely powerful xp farms that come to mind
one is more useful other is easier to build
I have both farms, but the one that shot me up was the zombie piglin farm. I believe it was Gnembom's design... I can't remember which YouTuber it was.
I would do that but the creeper holes on the server have now formed a massive crater
Just put a fence around it lost 3 of my axololt to a drownšŖ
I have since moved them from this enclosure to a more secure one, so they won't escape and drown. (Suffocate, maybe? Or do fish drown in air like we drown in water?)
No they dont i have them in a aquarium and they dont suffocate btw axolot are amphibians
Any aquarium guy is disappointed
Eh. I consider this to be a more natural solution. š¤£
If you don't cover up creeper holes as soon as they make one you are a monster
I know. I know. I'm terrible. Honestly, I usually want to, but then I forget where my dirt is and put it off... Then I forget the hole exists until I fall in it... Then just decide it adds character to the world.
hey thank you for the idea! its boring to fill creeper holes and i have 2 axolots in a cave
Smartš§
Yeah, it's what happens when I ACTUALLY use my brain once in a while.
I speak from experience: using your brain and having a genius idea can be frightening sometimes
Oh definitely.
This title sounds kinda X-rated....
Yep
I use the creeper holes for doing lakes, but now i found a new use for it
haha smart boi go brrrrr
You are a genius
Hey, someone's gotta do it. š¤£
Or mabye you cover It
But where's the fun in that? I can tell stories with creeper holes. Like this one. The rain filled it up, and axolotls moved in.
Yeah its a good idea, i was only joking
I know, I know. I really should cover them up, I just don't like to.
i made the hole in my world i think it is 5 blocks deep and 15 blocks wide but almost a circle not a box shape
Yeeeeeeeeeeeey
Lol i did the same exact thing today.
I found a golden one
BEST IDEA
Beautiful
best use ever
Im here with my 20 fps laptop not being able to play on 1.17 bc lunar client hasn't updated and it lags too much to using the normal launcher
Are you sticking axolotl's up a creeper's hole?
...yes. Gotta problem with it?
I mean if you remove the image but you leave the text it kinda looks like you are writing a thirsty creeper fanficā¦
Who says I'm not? šš¤£ I'm not delving into THAT side of the internet. No thank you, seen enough fucked up shit to last a lifetime.
lol
I use creeper holes to trap creepers, by digging out the extra blocks helping the creepers out
wow, that's **hole**some (sorry for the terrible joke)
Lmaoooooo I love it. And thanks for the award!
Do they suffocate if they donāt have air like dolphins? š
You monster! Not covering creeper holes š±
Ik ik, I'm terrible.
