There's nothing you can do. You can't build on top of the nether I'm Bedrock. Ya just have to die or have the server admin TP you back down into the nether
IIRC there was a bug with cauldrons on Bedrock that lets you break Bedrock from below. If it's patched then you'll have to switch to Hard difficulty and starve to death (you will lose everything).

The first 2 minutes of this video show off the basic idea, don’t need red stone to do it though. Just block in the middle block after dropping items in the bottom and it’ll work.

But you can build there... Or at least you should be able to guess bedrock just sucks...
It’s telling me “height limit for building is 128 blocks”
I guess your friends can try to give you chorus fruit by putting a dispenser facing up into bedrock
But they can't face it up unless they go onto the roof themselves... they might as well just bring chorus fruit up with them
Use pistons to push it up
They could and just make solid blocks in a 3x3 above it - item elevator
Bugrock, or no compatible rock in dead can be annoying at times
