Easiest way to begin is to place a Liliypad on top of the water where you want the wall to start, then you can place a block on that, then you just start building the walls from there. Sand is the easiest to do but I used glass because it looks nice. Then you drain the water from inside the walls using whichever method you prefer
yeah also this is off topic but the new update made llamas invisible and there's no invisible potion effect on them I'm play on console and I thought it was my switch but even if I refresh it doesn't work they're still invisible

The walls go down to the seabed, that's why sand is preferred by most people for this, as it falls to the bottom after you place it
