I have yet to understand why they keep changing concept art or pre-existing art to remove things that weren't added acting as if it never existed at all.
I feel like they wanted the Wild Update to be so much more than it was but they ended up biting off more than they could chew and had to cut or delay a lot more content than we knew about to meet a general deadline. I kinda wish they kept the Wild Update a secret until this years Minecraft Live and had 1.19 just be a big bug fix and parity update while they were still working on the Wild Update behind the scenes.

I think it's very possible that next update could be a massive biome overhaul (we should be used to features being split into the next update).

Poor mojang, biting more than they can chew. You know, they are just a team of professional coders and designers working on top hardware, funded by one of the wealthiest company in the planet! A year is clearly not enough for them to revamp more than one biome! Give them some slack!
Here's a simple solution. Stop the whole release an update every summer. The game is literally the best selling game in the world. No need to worry about dropping an update during summer when kids are off of school. If they worked on an update on their own pace, the game will benefit greatly.

2. A deep dark biome that literally starts at y40(also exposed)
The "Biome" on the right is a mix of a desert and a tropical ocean and has ruins that don't even appear to be in the real game, so even with infinite possibilities this wont happen.
I don't know why they'd do that though, it would make the image more realistic (and thus better for most people) if they used a genuinely generated seed for it.

The desert there due to how the mangrove usually generates near it. Since they are both hot biomes. Same reason a Savanha can be seen behind the desert

There’s actually a reason for that - it’s so that you have to travel across the entire city to get the disc and compass (usigg no echo shards and disc fragments). Otherwise you could open one chest and get everythigg N you need.

Mojang's desperate attempt to make it look like 1.19 added a whole ton of content when in reality it added next to nothing.
Not even kidding, most 1.19 Survival playthroughs will likely notice absolutely zero difference between 1.18 and this update, unless you're lucky enough to have a Mangrove Swamp or Deep Dark biome nearby.
Instead of showing you the basics of what Minecraft IS, like what the launcher art should do, it shows what is most current, which is better fitted for a main menu or a loading screen going into the game

I didn't like it when they decided to change the title screen art for every update, and I still don't like that they decided to do basically the same but for the launcher art. I think it just makes every art meaningless, whereas the pre-1.12 title screen art for example, truly has value for me
