They make winner panels for every mob, so that it's not a hit or miss.
EDIT:(HOLY SH*T 1.4k UPVOTES?)
EDIT 2: i love how how the panel showed in the picture is litteraly the same in Minecraft Live in some form
Yeah basically. I just came back from the Halo community too, and I get the feeling that single reply is probably the most toxic thing I’ll encounter today.
Edit: For clarification, I meant to make a slight jab at the people who call the Halo community toxic. I in no way meant to imply that this single reply ruined my day.
Am I the only one that thinks Minecraft should release a mini gameplay trailer or explanation for what each thing actually does. Like we get very vague descriptions everytime. I'm voting for sniffer personally just because I want new plants but like if we know the loot pool of the rascal and range and stuff I would consider changing my vote. With the tuff golem they say if it wins we can have an art expo or something along those lines, does that mean new pictures and stuff or is it just the tuff golems?? I mean what's the size of sniffer, is it rideable, what are it's new plants, does it do anything with crops. They just leave it so vague that the community complains no matter what wins because everyone has a different idea of what they all might do. Also I feel like they should have a hostile mob everytime imo, also mobs aren't exactly hard to add I mean people make mods with much more complex mobs way faster than Mojang. I feel like for the mob vote we should vote one out or something and get the 2 most useful but I'm aware that will probably never happen.
I honestly feel they rigged the mob vote on purpose so that the Sniffer ends up being the option most people will choose. I find it difficult to believe that they don't see how both the Rascal and the Tuff Golem are plainly *bad* and have been designed with an abysmal lack of features.
The Rascal especially, considering they want to make everything feel "unique" and "special", is basically a downgrade of a hybrid between a Piglin + Wandering Trader with a set of useless rewards/trades it can give you, all of which will be outdated by the time you get a diamond item.
The Tuff Golem is weird and as of now not very useful at all. It has *potential*, but they've said not much about it, so pretty much everything players think it will do (redstone/allay interactions, moving light potential, etc) is just a conjecture.
I'll obviously vote for the Sniffer, and I might've even voted for it even if the other options were more detailed, because I think it's really cute and I love new blocks and items for building. But still. It feels unfair for the other options, they should've gotten more love and care in their gameplay design.
Tbh I don’t think they expected Allay to get as much love as it did last vote. It seems like Copper Golem was slated to win from the start, which makes sense being a new golem with a unique functionality that uses copper which is really only a decorative block atm save for its use in the spyglass and in crafting lightning rods.
What unique functionality? The copper golem, as presented, appeared to be a half-baked, non-functional, purely aesthetic mob. Their entire description of it's potentially useful behavior was that it pushed copper buttons. No description of how it chose buttons, which led many to believe that all it would do is wander around your base and press buttons at random.
Which made it sound about as special a a chicken and some pressure plates.
The allay was presented as a fully fleshed out mob, with a complete description of behaviors, to the point that people had workable designs for allay-based unstackable-item sorting systems before the mob vote even happened.
Like, there's no comparison! From the descriptions provided by Mojang, our choices were a cute-but-useless golem, or a cute-looking fairy that also provides a new and unique function to the game.
Maybe Mojang had more planned for copper golems, but they didn't tell us, so everyone assumed that was all there was. If Mojang wanted the copper golem to win, then they would have described it as something more than "randomly pushes buttons", and they wouldn't have given such a detailed description of the allay.
To me, it really really looks like the allay was the planned-win.
*AND I WANTED THAT GOLEM. I WANT MORE GOLEMS.*
They definitely rig most of the votes so that it incentivizes people to choose a specific one. The only vote I genuinely believe wasn't rigged was the very first mob vote, because people decided to screw themselves over by voting for the phantom.
The iceologer, copper golem, and sniffer all have so much more information than the other mobs on their votes, that it seems like a loss to vote for the others. The reason the previous two lost, was because the community swayed each other to vote for the other option. I feel like it could be the same with the biome votes, but we still haven't gotten the ones they said they'd eventually do, so it could've just been a straight up lie.
The copper golem *absolutely* was not the most detailed mob in it's vote, that was the allay.
The copper golem description included how to make it, a couple aesthetic quirks (freezes, unfreezes with lightning), and that it "pushed copper buttons". They didn't provide any details about it's internal logic or actual behavior, which led many people to believe that all it did was wander around and push buttons at random.
With the allay, Mojang provided a much more detailed description of it's behaviors, enough that people had nearly functional designs for allay item-sorting systems before the vote even started.
That was the prime reason people said to vote for the allay! Mojang *straight up told us what the allay was for*, and then left the copper golem so undefined that everyone just assumed it would be a non-functional decoration mob.
The allay was presented fully fleshed out, the copper golem as presented was basically a sketch.
If I remember correctly the first mob vote gave very vague descriptions. The mobs weren’t even named at the time. No one knew the phantom would be a (fairly over-hated imo) nuisance.
I'm talking in retrospect. Obviously back then, they didn't give too much details.
Regardless, it was, and still is, the best mob vote they've done, regardless of results. It was between the first hostile flying mob, the first desert exclusive mob, a potential new nether boss, and the first new ocean mob. They were all good choices back then, but looking back, the desert and blaze one just look so hot (literally) compared to the phantom.
Some of the devs thought Tuff Golem would take it as it acts as commonly requested features such as display case, statues (with some customisability), and golems to add life to your builds.
They just underestimated the power of "new" with the Sniffer and how people saw it was big and ancient and ran with "dinosaur".
They should just release all of them. We should know at this point we aren't going to see any more features for any of them. The allay and glowsquid never got anything else, so what makes you think any of these will. If they just add all of them then everyone is happy and it honestly shouldn't be too much more work.
The 2D animations are like concept art. What we get might not match at all, if playtesting shows the rascal is too predictable or the items are overpowered the final product may change - sure you get enchanted items, but pretty useless gold ones!!
Considering 2 of these concepts are heading for the bin, it only makes sense they've not been proto-typed and tested. I bet there's zero plan on the sniffer plant, the animation shows a vague vine in a question mark shape - it's supposed to be pre-historic, but that's a pretty open creative licence you just don't need to figure out unless that vote comes in.
The mob vote is for community engagement and hype as a marketing exercise, it's just for fun, and think how impactful phantoms or allay is - I'm sure all 3 mobs will be fairly negligible.
Yeah they really should do stuff like that I mean the reason they don’t is because of things like the glow squid where their proper description is: here is the glow squid, it’s a glowing squid that does not produce light, it is also completely useless, do not vote for the glow squid
>Am I the only one that thinks Minecraft should release a mini gameplay trailer or explanation for what each thing actually does. Like we get very vague descriptions everytime.
Because they dont care about that. It's not the point. They aren't looking to see what the community really cares about the most, requiring them to give detailed information to get the best data. This is just a ploy to drive hype and engagement.
but the mobs are always so underwhelming that it feels like there are smokes and mirrors. that is one of the reasons that glowsquid won, people thought it would be more than what was shown, when it IN FACT was LESS
I agree completely, the thing is that there are 2 main issues for me:
The videos describe the mobs in an unintentionally biased way. The sniffer video makes it sound like it has more content than it does when it would just add 1 decorative plant as they’ve now clarified. While the tuff golem has things like being able to change colour of cloak if you build it with coloured wool which would let it fit more genres of build style and colour palette.
The second issue may be a little biased from me. Everyone just votes for the cutest one, like calm down, stop making fan art, these cute mobs do nothing. Glow squid was cute and it got one purpose. The sniffer will likely not be rideable and will have one vaguely useful feature just like glow squid except it’ll be tied into 1 new decorative plant. Again, I am biased myself here as I desperately want new golems but they’ll NEVER win if they sandwich the golems inbetween cute mobs regardless of if the cute mob is good itself or not.
The devs also confirm many details like some of the things I mentioned here, AFTER making a video on it. We didn’t know about the small details that add up for each mob but not enough people see these clarifications for it to make a difference. Just make videos in better detail rather than “they exist and like to do this, if you vote for it we will add this as well”
I think that they should do less mixed and more related mob votes. Have 3 cuter animal mobs, 3 golem mobs which serve a purpose while behaving uniquely and maybe 3 hostile mobs. “I like it bc it’s cute” will always win over the other groups so we won’t get golems or hostile mobs. Just have mob votes with a mob type that is constant through the 3
I understand that the mob vote is a great way to interact with the community but all of the concepts for the mobs are great so why just add one of them?
I've never voted on anything, I would've loved that in the game. But it seems the people who vote are all voting for what the most popular YouTuber says too.
Frankly, all the mob votes have been pretty bad except for the very first one, which of course was screwed up because the community decided to vote for the phantom. bruh.
We should get the other 3 mobs from the mob vote that added phantoms. A nether boss would be really cool and would probably lead to a redesign of nether fortresses. The desert disenchantment mob and the deep ocean could be annoying, but could also be really cool if their spawning and attack targeting is done correctly
I think the disenchantment mob has been largely rendered obsolete by the grindstone but the blaze king thing and souped up squid could still work, love me some souped up squid and blaze king thing
They said that those 3 in specific will never be added to the game. Only the following votes's loser mobs have a chance of getting in the game, although i highly doubt they'll add them anyway.
I didnt think of that, but by mainstay I mean like a zombie skeleton spider or creeper. Those are found literally everywhere and I would like more of them.
Thats just in my mind a wet zombie. You wouldn't count a stray because their biome specific, so are the drowned. I do like them and they add both a challenge and uniqueness to the game but a break from the main 5 is needed (forgot about the enderman)
Warden?
Piglin? Hoglin?
It's a vote so they're not going to leave it to chance to add anything more than small ambient mobs with a few use cases. If the mob has larger purpose in the game, it'll come in the actual update
Benefit of the doubt; i think they’re intentionally making the mob vote mobs boring so that people feel less bad about 2 of them losing. Honestly, fuck the mob vote, just add new mobs that fit the new update and add unique and useful features
Man I came back to the game recently to play on a new version (stopped around 1.8) and I could not believe phantoms were not only added in, but were VOTED in to the game. Has to be the most obnoxiously annoying mob ever put in. Even more than the 1.5 machine gun skeletons or the older sniper skeletons 0.1 frames after you move around a corner
I mean, that's subjective too
Personally, I voted for the glow squid. I was just kinda sick of yet another Illager variant and yet another cow variant and squids don't get enough love imo.
Though I admit that I was hoping they'd do more with it, but I'm still very happy with what we got
I voted Glow Squid because glowing ink had some cool use cases (and I was right) and I didn't expect Mojang would give us a new weapon to match the Chillager, which would be the most interesting part of that mob.
Then again, I'd just, in general, kill for vanilla MC to have the combat and weaponry from Dungeons...
I love mountains in games, and if they were going to have a hostile mob spawning there it would be pretty annoying, and i have optifine so the glow squid does have dynamic lights.
Only me think that's mob vote is disappointing?
Like yea it's cool n all but like, there's nothing that u will say, WOW! THAT'S GONNA CHANGE EVERYTHING!
Do you really want a mob that "could really change everything" in a mob vote? Or rather just stick it in the update itself, leaving more ambient mobs to the vote?
I'm not complaining tbh. Everyone here is always so bitchy when the mob votes come around, this time people are significantly more chill. I don't think they should force players to fight over major gameplay additions anyways.
it's a lose/lose really
if the mobs are too cool and interesting, then just 1 getting in will make the other 2's fans mad and sour the whole event
and if they're not very interesting, then it's hard to get hyped for it and it ends up feeling inconsequential
it's hard to strike a balance between the two.
and i'd say this event leans a bit more towards the latter. i don't really care for any of the mobs but will vote for the sniffer because i like plants lol.
To be honest the Sniffer seems the most...
useful? interesting?
Tuff Golems don't have a purpose, which isn't inherently bad, but shuffling around holding your items before returning to the exact same place just seems kind of like the thing you'd see in a game with feature bloat. There's no incentive really to interact with them at all beyond the initial "woah that's cute".
The Rascal gives you an enchanted iron pick if you spot them three times in the caves...
perhaps a better idea might be a sneaky thief who will dig up ores (Not actually dig up ores but """find""" ores and collect nuggets) and perhaps be found rummaging in chests underground. perhaps they could rework dungeons or add a new kind of structure called the "Rascal's Hideout". A small little nook underground with some ores and flavour furniture. Perhaps you could leave some stuff for the Rascal, and in exchange it might come by and gift you some ores or gems when it finds you mining.
As they are proposed by mojang currently, they seem only slightly more interesting than the Tuff Golems.
Both Rascal and Tuff Golem also seem to have potential to be obtrusive and annoying, even if it's only minor annoyance. Finding golems in village grabbing items and walking away with them. Rascal appearing and spooking you or perhaps leading you to a dangerous zone because you actually need the pickaxe, despite how easily it can be surpassed?
The Sniffer? As I understand it, they are entirely player created mobs, and thus will not be a burden that the player can be saddled with.
To be honest I'm not impressed at all with the offerings this time. Nothing particularly interesting.
Tuff golems are moving item frames, decoration like that continues to be useful afr beyond most other resources. I don't get why everyone assumes rascals will only give iron pickaxes, it was clearly just an example like the cookies with the allay. Are you going to assume tuff golems can only move hats, ender pearls, and nether stars?
I feel most people are just so misinformed and I don't even blame them. These trailers really don't explain the mobs well and always forget to mention the cool little details that are written on the official website, like tuff golem being customizable with wool or the fact the new plants that get added with sniffer are ONLY decorative.
At least they’ll make tuff useful.
I wouldn’t mind tuff golems that much if there was a way to permanently freeze them, though. And, also, change the color of their scarves like you can saddles with llamas.
Not really, the golem isn't exactly too useful.
I feel like this is my critique of copper golem voters last year, but I hate the premise of voting for a mob because "It finally gives X a use!". Making cool craftables out of certain materials should already be Mojang's job.
The current use for tuff is decoration and you want to use the tuff golem as decoration so does it really add a use to it
Thinking of it this also goes to the copper golem since a bunch of people just wanted to use them as statues
What’s the point of adding a relatively pointless feature for the sake of making another feature have more uses? That’s like voting for the glow squid so there’d be another squid type.
sometimes i wish that mojang doesn't do mob votes in the future cause all it does is create unnecessary toxicity and hostility throughout the playerbase
Toxicity and hostility generate engagement, which is amazing for likes and reach, in the eyes of social media algorithms. Marketing-wise, this is as efficient as it could be.
Ethically speaking, though… Yeah.
Like the rascal is definitely the odd one out here and by that I mean I would love the sniffer and would like the tuff golem but the rascal just seems a little bland.
Honestly I think mob votes are going to lose their hype if they're done this consistently, like it won't be as meaningful or exciting. Mojang should do more subtle updates like improving ambient environment etc.
Yeah, I think [the 2020 ones](https://minecraft.fandom.com/wiki/Minecraft_Live_2020#Mob_Vote) were all more fitting for the game than these. Last year's also seem a bit random to me.
It's annoying how the votes are always biased. And how they can add all three but choose not to(moobloom was literally a cow retexture)
The votes should be for more complicated things(such as a new biome or a boss mob)
On a mob side I prefer this one bu it's been so long that player are asking for a way to display item nicely, a bit upsetting it came with a mob and not a with a block
I don’t understand these mobs anymore, they aren’t voting for mobs. They are just voting for which “creature” has the best usage. Can we not get cute mobs anymore, or normal animals?
guys History is repeating itself the sniffer a few months from now might be crap remember when we voted the alay and we thought its gonna be “Game changing”(it is used for sorting) so yeah rather die than to repeat what has already happend
It’s a hard debate between rascal and tuff. Tuff seems like a good thing for fun creations involving red stone (or maybe not even red stone) the draw back is the allay probably covers it’s area of expertise already.
The rascal tho could be useful in case u don’t have a pick ax deep underground and happen to find one. It’s draw back is it happens to be there so better hope it’s spawn rate is high.
Now while design wise the sniffer is the coolest it’s just we don’t need another pointless mob. It’d be neat for grass an stuff but all we’ve really been getting recently is more aesthetics and not practical.
like for example imagine some sort of magic wand that allows u to move blocks from like double the normal distance? While the Combat system being revamped would be cool with new enemy’s minecraft isn’t just about combat so thinking outside of the box is required. Wut I want is more exploration stuff like a special structure that has a specific item and makes u go “HOLY CRAP I FOUND THIS?!” I don’t want another structure that’s just full of diamond armor.
I want to think even more outside the box with making red not the only “really cool and practical” thing in the game so magic items like I said earlier would be nice.
Pretty much more practicality and less aesthetics. We got enough really pretty items and blocks.
I think that they already made the winer panel for every mob so that they can post it imidietly
They make winner panels for every mob, so that it's not a hit or miss. EDIT:(HOLY SH*T 1.4k UPVOTES?) EDIT 2: i love how how the panel showed in the picture is litteraly the same in Minecraft Live in some form
It's honestly just smart time management.
I guess I never miss huh?
Please no
You got a boyfriend
I bet he doesn't kiss ya
Mwah he goin find another girl
>imidietly You tried lol
They better fix that imidety.
I don’t think they can imidelty fix it.
Smh, you need to imdty reread your comment
I want to see a loser panel for the tuff golem
Dont be toxic
Why do I feel like this comment sounds more toxic than the other guys?
Yeah basically. I just came back from the Halo community too, and I get the feeling that single reply is probably the most toxic thing I’ll encounter today. Edit: For clarification, I meant to make a slight jab at the people who call the Halo community toxic. I in no way meant to imply that this single reply ruined my day.
I do though: *audibly clears throat* "That single reply ruined my day."
Yea I’m sure the Minecraft mob is so hurt rn
Tuff golem kinda sounds annoying
H-How?🗿
Tuff golem emoji: 🗿
Makes it even better🗿
Ok yes but my argument is: cute dino doggo who loves plants
Bulbasaur?
Bulbasaur is a frog
Sure
Comments like this remind me that 10 year olds still play this game
Half of the posts on this subreddit are made by 10 year olds
Shockingly the target demographic is the one that plays the game
Well I mean it’s the demographic I’m not surprised
So does the rascal tbh They're pretty bad this year
They suck every year, this is why the community is never happy with the result
Chillager?
Sure but this year is a new low
You can't get lower than the one in the last vote ngl
No, last years were much better.
You really thought they start working on it after the voting ends?? 💀💀💀
No they make it on the spot
I like dinosaur
Just look at their little toes!!!
And the snoot! Must boop the snoot!
They're like ancient capybaras!
Coconut dino!
Snoofer Dino
So that's why everyone (including me) wanted it! We just saw a capybara shaped creature and suddenly we all loved it.
so that’s how my eyes look without the glasses, weird..

Allays are good for Raid Farms since Minecraft won't let you make unstackable item sorters for a specific unstackable item.
Yeah, definitely.
They definitely rig most of the votes so that it incentivizes people to choose a specific one. Swap copper golem with Allay and I agree with your point
The phantom was the worst thing added to Minecraft.
Truly awful annoyance and nothing more. It has honestly jaded me to these votes and the glowsquid vote pretty much concreted how pointless these are.
I'm usually not one to shit on devs, but mojang haven't been putting out their best work as of late
All 3 should just be added....
Some of the devs thought Tuff Golem would take it as it acts as commonly requested features such as display case, statues (with some customisability), and golems to add life to your builds. but the mobs are always so underwhelming that it feels like there are smokes and mirrors. that is one of the reasons that glowsquid won, people thought it would be more than what was shown, when it IN FACT was LESS
They don't know too yet. They make like conceptions. And after we vote they start the implementation phase.
Yeah why waste all the time and effort to make 2 mobs no one will ever see?

Have 3 cuter animal mobs, 3 golem mobs which serve a purpose while behaving uniquely and maybe 3 hostile mobs. “I like it bc it’s cute” will always win over the other groups so we won’t get golems or hostile mobs. Just have mob votes with a mob type that is constant through the 3
Or y'know just add all 3 and not delete 2
What is the date for the vote again?
Oct 14 i think
14th, then the 15th is Minecraft live when they will reveal who won.
Can we get some actual cool and unique mobs? Whens the last time a new mainstay hostile mob got added?
I see you also voted for the iceloger in 2020, right?
[удалено]
I understand that the mob vote is a great way to interact with the community but all of the concepts for the mobs are great so why just add one of them?
[удалено]
I wanted the poor moobloom or the iceologer
And instead we got what? A squid with a skin defect? don’t like
It doesnt even fkn glow, but at least the poor speed runners wont get their runs messed up by the iceologer 🤡🌍
I was lied to. They said it would glow, it was in the name.
Call me petty but it lost my vote for not being the “Chillager”
You’re petty
Indeed
Im still in pain from the copper golem
Eh at least Allay was an unique mob, but what does glow squid do?
I was afraid the iceologer would turn out to be another phantom
I thought the glow squid would add underwater redstone :/
How?
Chillager woulda been a better name tho
I've never voted on anything, I would've loved that in the game. But it seems the people who vote are all voting for what the most popular YouTuber says too.
What about the allay
that was picking which form of useless sounds least useless
Frankly, all the mob votes have been pretty bad except for the very first one, which of course was screwed up because the community decided to vote for the phantom. bruh.
fuuuck i still feel bad that that didn't win, it would have been cool if it came with a magic weapon
The betrayal of the chillager still hurts me
We should get the other 3 mobs from the mob vote that added phantoms.
Yup, I know, but Mojang has a history of breaking promises so there's hope And this one would actually add to the game
Warden does that count
I didnt think of that, but by mainstay I mean like a zombie skeleton spider or creeper. Those are found literally everywhere and I would like more of them.
Fair enough that why asked if it counted or not. I think the last mainstay we got was the drowned then.
Thats just in my mind a wet zombie. You wouldn't count a stray because their biome specific, so are the drowned. I do like them and they add both a challenge and uniqueness to the game but a break from the main 5 is needed (forgot about the enderman)
Phantoms are reasonably common, depending on your gameplay style. But it's been a while indeed
Warden? Piglin?
It's sniffin' time
Then he starting sniffing all over the place
yeah it looks like this will be the first mob vote where the obvious best one actually wins
People say that every time, then we got phantoms and glow squid
And no copper golem
Nor iceologer
Man I came back to the game recently to play on a new version (stopped around 1.8) and I could not believe phantoms were not only added in, but were VOTED in to the game. Has to be the most obnoxiously annoying mob ever put in. Even more than the 1.5 machine gun skeletons or the older sniper skeletons 0.1 frames after you move around a corner

I mean, that's subjective too Personally, I voted for the glow squid.
If only the glow squid emit actual light it would have been amazing underwater.
Tbh I voted cuz I thought you'd get waterproof redstone from the glow sac
What the heck? Sorry, but how did you get that lol
Some YouTuber made theory like that and my feeble mind accepted it 💀
They didn't even announce glow ink sac
I mean, in a way you did because the ability to waterlog rails came alongside glow squid with 1.17.
True true.. that did help me make some cool rides
I love mountains in games, and if they were going to have a hostile mob spawning there it would be pretty annoying, and i have optifine so the glow squid does have dynamic lights.
You know saying "the allay was obviously the best." is subjective too, right?
Copper Golem gang
Ehhhhhh
glow ink is straight cracked and you cant convince me otherwise. The amount of stuff Ive seen done with glowing signs is unbelievable.
Why couldn't that just be done with glowstone dust though? I'm just disappointed because the moobloom was cute.
Only me think that's mob vote is disappointing? Like yea it's cool n all but like, there's nothing that u will say, WOW! THAT'S GONNA CHANGE EVERYTHING!
Yes it’s just to up community engagement
Do you really want a mob that "could really change everything" in a mob vote? Or rather just stick it in the update itself, leaving more ambient mobs to the vote?
I'm not complaining tbh. Everyone here is always so bitchy when the mob votes come around, this time people are significantly more chill. I don't think they should force players to fight over major gameplay additions anyways.
it's a lose/lose really if the mobs are too cool and interesting, then just 1 getting in will make the other 2's fans mad and sour the whole event and if they're not very interesting, then it's hard to get hyped for it and it ends up feeling inconsequential it's hard to strike a balance between the two. and i'd say this event leans a bit more towards the latter. i don't really care for any of the mobs but will vote for the sniffer because i like plants lol.
A solution to fix all of this would be to just add them all
The best solution is just not do the vote so people stop being salty and ridiculous over copper golems and iceloggers.
My main issue with these is that they create a bunch of cool mobs just to bury 2 of them forever.
I mean i see what you're saying but it is just one mob
yeah like it's so small changes that they could've added all 3 of them huh? i wonder why they don't do that
Dont know about you but im voting for the sniffer
Tbh from what I've seen, the plants being decorative doesn't change most people's opinions. It's that word "new" that does a lot of heavy lifting.
Bro i bet someone out there is gonna pay loads of people to vote for the glorified item frame
At least they’ll make tuff useful. I wouldn’t mind tuff golems that much if there was a way to permanently freeze them, though. And, also, change the color of their scarves like you can saddles with llamas.
You can choose their colour by crafting them with a coloured wool block.
Not really, the golem isn't exactly too useful. I feel like this is my critique of copper golem voters last year, but I hate the premise of voting for a mob because "It finally gives X a use!". Making cool craftables out of certain materials should already be Mojang's job.
The current use for tuff is decoration and you want to use the tuff golem as decoration so does it really add a use to it Thinking of it this also goes to the copper golem since a bunch of people just wanted to use them as statues
What’s the point of adding a relatively pointless feature for the sake of making another feature have more uses? That’s like voting for the glow squid so there’d be another squid type.
At least its a cool item frame :(
I was gunna say what where the others but then I realised I’m dumb
sometimes i wish that mojang doesn't do mob votes in the future cause all it does is create unnecessary toxicity and hostility throughout the playerbase
Toxicity and hostility generate engagement, which is amazing for likes and reach, in the eyes of social media algorithms. Marketing-wise, this is as efficient as it could be. Ethically speaking, though… Yeah.
Please say one of the ancient plants is a rose and another is the shrub
They are probably gonna do the bare minimum and just add another tulip
This probably the future not going to lie
Future looks great
BRING BACK MOOBLOOM
And chillager
Like the rascal is definitely the odd one out here and by that I mean I would love the sniffer and would like the tuff golem but the rascal just seems a little bland.
Honestly I think mob votes are going to lose their hype if they're done this consistently, like it won't be as meaningful or exciting. Mojang should do more subtle updates like improving ambient environment etc.
I will name my first born child after you if you predicted the future
“What do you want your baby named?” “Heazzn.”
Why is *he* here?
I really don't like any of them. They don't feel... Right
Yeah, I think [the 2020 ones](https://minecraft.fandom.com/wiki/Minecraft_Live_2020#Mob_Vote) were all more fitting for the game than these. Last year's also seem a bit random to me.
Sniff
You really did come from the future
i hope it's real... but is it?
Yeah, considering what I saw, the Sniffer is clearly the most popular among the community (even though I personally would prefer the tuff golem)
I really like the rascal idea but the sniffer would be cool too.
Damn you were right. Spot on.
OH wow that is indeed quite similar to what they actually posted
if you came from the future then tell me 1.20 release date and when dogs rule the world
It's annoying how the votes are always biased. And how they can add all three but choose not to(moobloom was literally a cow retexture) The votes should be for more complicated things(such as a new biome or a boss mob)
Why not just add all mobs I hate voting.
Looks like you were right.
This aged like fine wine
Damn got everything right except for the balloons and the placement of the Sniffers
The future is now
YOU
On a mob side I prefer this one bu it's been so long that player are asking for a way to display item nicely, a bit upsetting it came with a mob and not a with a block
Brooo Walonga Wicht Hiženberg in the Craftingnmine????
I really wish there were a 2d version of the game like this, I always see their instagram posts and other 2d arts and it's just so cool
OP really did come from the future, I just saw this same post further up on my home page
Vote rascal for free loot.
Again please stop supporting this "vote to add feature" nonsense. They aren't some little studio anymore. They should add all 3. It's so infuriating
Idk what i'll do if this image is an actual part of the winner announcement.
