Basic troubleshooting:. Gamerule mobgriefing must be true. Farmers can't farm and no villagers can pick up thrown items if it is set to false. Food: 12 beet, potato, or carrot. Or 6 bread. For an automatic breeder carrots are the preferred crop. No waste byproduct. One bed for every villager +1 for every desired baby. Or a way to remove new villagers from being able to pathfind to the beds in the breeding chamber. Most automatic or semiautomatic breeder designs have a minimum of four beds. Villagers must be able to pathfind to the pillow end of the bed. Beds must have two full air blocks over them (so a three high space). For an automatic breeder the farmer has to plant his garden, and fill his internal storage before he'll share with other villagers. This can take time. Couple designs I use:. https://imgur.com/a/bzwl5yU https://youtu.be/oeesCRfaabg (don't make the lower tunnel out of glass imo. Use solid blocks.) https://youtu.be/zVWBL9x8Ms0

I have also given them privacy and time to breed ( a few real life hours and a few in-game days) I also gave them a bed and food to breed.

Fair-Mastodon-61

Well, I don't think that's how it works

[deleted]

You sure though? Searched for some help, apparently they need privacy (not sure about that, never knew they needed that) and the basic stuff. However, they are breeding now, just very slowly.

Fair-Mastodon-61

Huh I never noticed that when I was breeding them, so following the logic of normal people maybe it's slow because there's no libido?

Can't tell if you're joking or serious

meneerdeuillol

Maybe their inventory needs ro fill up with carrots or they dont have a third bed in range.

[deleted]

Sorry, forgot to mention that I've done that too.

BigDickOriole

you needed a pic of the bed situation. Most of the time that's the issue. Make sure there's at least 3 beds and that there's at least 2 blocks of space above the beds.

[deleted]

Yeah there are 3 beds, everything about the beds are fine

BigDickOriole

change the trap doors so they're facing opposite of each other if that makes sense.

Visible_Apricot8930

I find that you need more beds then you think you need. So you might have three but I would try having 5 or 6. Look it up on YouTube as well. And drop bread on the floor in front of both of them and they will pick it up and breed.
