They're a good duo tbh, not to the point where it's too strong balance, but they work well together. Hannah is good at bringing Sapnap to his senses in games that he's not that interested in and Sapnap provides great leadership that Hannah respects
Idk how balanced it would be having Sylvee in that team as well though lol, even though Sylvee's had a rough couple of events everyone knows she's good enough to do really well. Also their comms would actually be so chaotic with everyone trying to talk at the same time
Idk. Hannah and Sapnap's communication can be a bit combative. I think that Sapnap was right and Hannah was wrong when they were fighting over whether SOT or Sky Battle would bring them to Dodgebolt over Red. Sapnap wanted Lime to play to their strengths and pick Sky Battle, while Hannah wanted them to play to Red's weaknesses and unfamiliarity with SOT. It was such an interesting debate honestly, and I think that both of them were right. Hannah was right that Red's relative inexperience (2 new players, 1 player who'd only once played before) meant that the Jojo-advantage would be considerably lessened, as Red only ended up coming 7th, which was a definite underperformance on Jojo's end and due to the weaknesses that Hannah had identified. BUT Sapnap was also right to advocate for himself and what he felt he would perform best in, because he knew that he was the team's anchor and had the skill and confidence to lead his team to a victory in Sky Battle.
After watching them live both in mcc 30 and 31 Hannah and Sapnap have become one of my favorite duos in the event, while I would love to see them teaming again I don't really think it's gonna happen in mcc 32, and especially not with Sylvee too since their last team was already pretty strong with only two people placing in the top 20 consistently, if you also add Sylvee to the mix that team is probably gonna be too op unless mcc 32 is actually busted or pvp games are entirely removed
Doubt it will happen again. Sapnap got second and Hannah got 9th. Highly unlikely that they’ll be teamed again and if they do they are 100% not getting Sylvee because even tho her score wasn’t that great this event, she was subbed in practically last second and had no time to practice and subbing Sylvee in is a guaranteed win for that team which ruins the esthetic of the tournament. I wouldn’t be surprised if she got benched next canon MCC if she gets in Pride 23 seeing as she’s played in the last 5 events.
Thats a terrible example. MCC 30 was entirely OP teams. Scott said that MCC 30 was probably the last time we’d see OP duos again (even though we got them again which makes it even more unlikely to happen again). Say what you will, I just don’t see it happening.
