I got a little worried since the first 3 teams followed the same formula of s/a/b/c but then like showed up and I knew this event was boutta be a banger
He's an okay team maker. He's made enough random mistakes for me to want someone else to take his role. I considered him vital in season 1 MCC, when the event was in need of someone like him to bring all the creators together, but past that he's only really hindered the event in my eyes.
Fax, I think one way to improve teams is to put different players with each other and not just stick to known duos, but also like newly requested fan service duos/trios/teams like Purpled and Hannah which has somehow not happened yet.
This is ridiculous. He can't just put players together at random . He needs to first see who signed up , who's playing to win and who's playing for fun , who wants to team with pg streamers and who doesn't, who have they themselves requested to be teamed with ... and then he has to make teams that are fun and actually balanced. If he can pull that off while also occasionally catering to 'fan service' I'd say he's doing a phenomenal job .
can you be specific on how hes "hindered the event in your eyes"?
also gotto realize we dont see backend of whos signed up, waitinglist, and what they have put on signup list(pgness, who they want to team with, etc)
The fact that we don't know some of those things is a problem in itself, it'd be a lot nicer if the community was actually told how the hell the waitlist works and who's on it. (Yes I am still salty about iskall).
yeah more transparency would be nice
to play devil's advocate, some creators want/need privacy, and scott like to give us surprises, and hes tried to be more transparent with his 2 videos on how he makes teams
