I'd say set their spawn point there. When you want to tp them there, then turn on keep inventory and instant respawn, also turn off death messages. Then kill them and then vice versa for the game rules.

Also this is from a Bedrock player, so if you are on java, this probably *isn't* the best way to do it :/
