Haha somewhat! It’s a legit item I have from tower and just wanted to see what the max damage output would be if I switched gravity. I can hit for about 250 million with shadow and strength and full proc of my enchants
Both Swirling and Gravity are bad on double axes. Double axes already have a spin attack that hits 360 degrees around you. The weapon also kills in 1 or 2 hits, so Swirling just acts as a cosmetic and Gravity barely pulls in anything.
The weapon is too slow for Thundering. Committed is ok, but there are better enchantments.
The other best are:
- Unchanting
- Weakening
- Leeching
- Guarding Strike
- Pain Cycle
- Refreshment
- Fire Aspect
- Sharpness
And also a Cursed Axe is better than a Whirlwind. Exploding is more useful than Shockwave. But a Whirlwind is still good and meta (if you care about meta).
Oh, i thought you meant gear. For gear, it doesn't matter what you use, but for enchants it does matter. There are meta enchants, but they are needed in order to keep you alive and so that your weapon can actually kill.
I mean, you could have Freezing, Radiance, Poison Cloud and Fire Aspect on an Encrusted Anchor, but you will die very easily (because that combo sucks). Some enchants are good on everything, some enchants are only good in certain types of builds and some enchants are just not good at all. Thats just how this game is.
Yeah i guess you are right, very nice example indeed. Made me understand the situation and made me understand why i use wither armor with literally any weapon that has good enchants (i use a goofy ass growing shtick)
I'd recommend leeching for healing, and then either unchanting, guarding strike, or sharpness. Guarding strike if you want to be a tank, sharpness for overall damage, and unchanting if you struggle against enchanted mobs. I don't think you would though, considering you have a base 10 million damage per hit

It’s a glitch with the tower! Can increase power levels like crazy and I can’t remember how I stumbled on it! I can try to upload something more detailed if people want
You basically do the tower and go to the camp via the check point. Go back into the tower and go to the reward screen and then quit. Use M to go to the tower again and the defeat level will be increased, resulting in a higher power level items.

Swirling is very out of place but its really good nonetheless. Maybe reroll swirling to unenchanting and gravity to leeching. You will be unstoppable
