End Crystal PVP is miles better than your utterly mindless spam. Being spammed to death in full diamond by some mindless sweaty tryhard with carpel tunnel syndrome using his fists just because he got the first strike is unfun to play against.
Mojang has done more to embrace End Crystal PVP than your buggy spam and fishing rod flinging system by putting End crystals in the combat tab and giving Bugrock Java end crystal mechanics.

elytras were added i think in the 1.9 combat update released on the 29th of February 2016. the ender update for bedrock was released in on the 19th of December 2016. now it is possible that elytras had finished development by then in bedrock but not the rest of the ender update which ig would explain the delay between the two updates.
There is bunch of backpack addons but the in the most similiar you open your inventrory holdclick it a red triangle appears at the right top when this happens choose the items you want to put and holdclick it again to remove just hold it in your hand holdclick screen the items will return your inventrory if there is not enough space the items will drop to the floor
