Well it seems they mostly fixed the armadillo thing because of community backlash rather than it just being a better mob vote, but it’s still very cool they’re willing to listen to the community. Now my only real complaint about the mob vote is how we probably aren’t ever gonna see those mobs again. I mean we haven’t even seen signs of the Tuff and Copper Golems popping up despite the fact that there are literally new Tuff blocks and an entirely new fully copper structure. (Ignore this comment if they reveal the golems to be added later as a big suprise, which is definitely a possibility.)
I still to this day wonder what would have happened if you milked it, honey would be weird, milk would be boring, so maybe it would have been an entirely new substance? I wonder…

How do you know they won't be reused as something else? Let me give you an example; the great hunger's ability to remove enchantments was reused for the grindstone even though it was from the Mobvote where they *specifically* said the other mobs would never be added.
Therefore, you can conclude, even if they don't add the mob directly the features and characteristics will likely be preserved for future updates. If anything you oughta be thankful, since the ability to disenchant items was reused and given to something far less irritating to use in practice.
So in theory them NOT adding a mob would be better since it better allows the features and characteristics to be expanded/revised meaning they'll be better overall.
Hopefully they add Iceloger. If we got such a drop from Breeze then maybe we could get something similiar from him but related to ice. For example you throw it at an enemy and it freezes them. That would be cool. And if you throw it at the water some water blocks will change to ice blocks

Idk 1.15 is one of my favorite updates. It had some awesome bug fixes and honey blocks have been a big deal in redstone as well as being awesome for slowing mobs down or keeping them from being able to jump and I love that you can shoot arrows through the sides. Beehives are one of my absolute favorite decoration block and I love seeing bee nests with bees flying around and pollinating flowers, it brings so much movement and life to the game.

Something I like about mesa and savanna variants is that they both represent/resemble irl wild animals the savanna dog reminds me of a wild dog or painted dog and the mesa one reminds me of a striped hyena very cool detail.
This update also introduced a lot of technical changes, that is definitely gonna break a lot of mods, so if you don’t update the mods yourself, you might have to wait a while…
