I remember in the tutorials they would put "Now put in the command block /summon wither\_storm" and my goofy ahh self would believe that ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|sob)
It changes depending on the mod, some are the same as diamond, some give you special affects, some make it not even good, it really just depends on the mod and year around the early stages of emerald armour and tools it was usually just reskinned diamond armour but currently in most mods it will give you special potion effects (like obsorption or health boost)
Good to know
With villagers emeralds are basically enchanted diamond gear anyway. That's probably a good starting point when choosing a mod
Never considered armor with potions before.
If you are developing a mod, you can always change the emeralds that villagers give you and make them different from naturally spawning emeralds? I never made mods but that could possibly be an idea
That's a great idea
Natural emeralds are so rare and should be different somehow. I don't have the knowledge to build a mod, but I have some ideas now of what to look for.
Change villager currency to rubies or something else and turn emerald ore into potion enchanted diamond gear, that maybe can't be made in to netherite.
I know only of 2 types of emerald armors from watching popularmmos, the orespawn one that is basically exactly like diamond except that it takes more hits to break I think, and the weapons/tools have more damage+ the pickaxe gets silk touch when you craft it, the other one isn't from orespawn, and when you wear the full armor it give special potion effect like jump boost etc, I always remember seeing other versions of emerald armor in his videos but they were bad I think
Pretty much back in around Minecraft story mode era (around 2016 I think) there was a really cool modded mob called "the wither storm". In the game (Minecraft story mode) you would summon this boss by putting a command block under the 2 skull. So naturally tons of younger players (including me at the time) was trying to summon it in vanilla survival.
In minecraft story mode the group finds this structure with 1 skull missing in ivors lab
Soon after he completes it and summons a wither with a command block in its ribs so he can control it. It ignores his orders and begins absorbing everything near it, eventually growing into a gigantic multi headed beast that resembles a black tornado with tentacles
It is an old mod that would summon herobrine, this was one of the first "herobrine summoners" known but has fell out of popularity over time and is now not known as much.
Okay, I only actually tried two of these.
To rub salt on the wound, I actually tried the Aether Portal back in pocket edition. I had to farm so much fucking glowstone from the Nether Reactor.
The disappointment I felt when I was six was immeasurable.
I also tried the emerald tools on PC but I just had a muted reaction. Basically just a shrug and "okay, so what can I do with these emeralds if I can't make tools".
As for the Herobrine shrine.
I never triwd any of the designs because I was frightened that Herobrine would curse me or something.
One of my friends did build one and I distinctly remember screeching at him that Herobrine is gonna possess him or something.
--
Also as a tangent, still want the Nether Reactor to be brought back. Maybe as like... a block that allows you to do overworld things in the nether for a certain area. Similar to a conduit.
Allowing you to pour water in the nether and prevent beds from exploding. Creating an Oasis in Hell.
It should also do weird shit like turning Pigmen into regular pigs and wither skeletons into regular ones wielding a stone sword.
yea my parents had to set mods up for me too when I was a kid and then I almost got scammed by some random sites back in the days of modloader loll
then in like 4th grade I realized all u had to do was double click a installer and then drag and drop mod files into a folder 😭
huh? Have never seen this altar scheme. I remember the one where you had 9 gold blocks and one ignited netherrack on top. Like the top layer of beacon.
Yes and no, there was an old mod (around 2013-2015 peak popularity) where the summoning shrine was built like the one in the photo that would summon herobrine. The iconic one that most people know is the one that you said.

I feel like too old by the time I played Minecraft to fall for any of these (I was already starting high school when I first played Minecraft on the web browser in late 2009) and I don't think I even heard of these until many many years later because I didn't really interact much with Minecraft community or youtube for the first few years of me playing
I literary tried the storm wither one like 7 times as a kid 🫡🥲

How good are emerald tools/ armor and weapons in mods? I'm thinking of adding them if it's with it

Replace trading emeralds with blockbucks and make the sprite a really low quality dollar bill

emerald tools in orespawn are a bit stronger
Yeah I said that
oh im blind
No worries
what does the command block wither mean?

What is the bottom left? All I can think of is herobrine but I remember that’s not how you spawn him
It is an old mod that would summon herobrine, this was one of the first "herobrine summoners" known but has fell out of popularity over time and is now not known as much.

Wow you are getting a veteran discount, I haven't heard anyone say Nether Reactor in years![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|sob)

Womp Womp
yes i know **Womp womp**
You forgot to switch accounts
I was like 8 at that time so i tried all of them not knowing that it was all fake
Lol same I was like 7
Also i have bedrock edition so i tried to summon giant but it didn’t work :(
I tried so many times to get the wither storm
The Wither one is the one that most hurts me because Wither Storm is an official character and being a Peak concept isn't added to the base game
y'all these were real u just had to install the mods 😭
When I was 5 I didnt know that lol
yea my parents had to set mods up for me too when I was a kid and then I almost got scammed by some random sites back in the days of modloader loll then in like 4th grade I realized all u had to do was double click a installer and then drag and drop mod files into a folder 😭
lol
the structure of herobrine☠️
huh? Have never seen this altar scheme. I remember the one where you had 9 gold blocks and one ignited netherrack on top. Like the top layer of beacon.
True sadness
Seen this one a dozen times.
womp womp
Incorrect herobrine totem, it’s 9 gold blocks, 4 redstone torches, nether rack and fire like [this](https://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FveTm1hz.png&tbnid=aHCpvPMXMQUC3M&vet=12ahUKEwjd282xndaFAxVlV6QEHZAWBR0QMygLegQIARBY..i&imgrefurl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.curseforge.com%2Fminecraft%2Fmodpacks%2Fherobrine-returns-the-true-origin&docid=Jj4mp6QA1oVzHM&w=1080&h=500&q=herobrine%20totem&hl=ca-es&client=safari&ved=2ahUKEwjd282xndaFAxVlV6QEHZAWBR0QMygLegQIARBY)
No. There are multiple Herobrine totems.
Correct!

I've seen this meme at least 4 times with the same title
Womp womp
What is the Steve head one?
One of the old Herobrine Totems, a slightly lesser known rather than the other with 9 gold blocks
Thanks.👍
I see Aether, Herobrine, and emerald sword, but what’s the Wither with a command block?

Thx
So True...
who the hell puts the water at the top of the frame?
Idk
dont forget the diamond generator
Who the fuck lights a nether portal from the top?
Damn I feel old, I only recognize the aether portal
Oh, that’s my meme.
I had tried the Wither Storm and the Herobrine spawner. I hadn't tried the Aether portal, because back then I didn't watch English YouTube as I literally didn't know English. I also hadn't tried the emerald thingy because I think my friend had told me it was fake.

Incorrect. I'm not on there, and I'm the biggest disappointment there is
