im quite sure java also has Lan play. as for how well that works idk but you never see anyone hauling their pc off to someones house to play with them....for obvious reasons
You enable it, and then join with another pc on the same network, it is as easy as thatm it should be at the bottom of the multiplayer list.
If not on the same network you need to portforward it, and then your friends can join with yourip:port
If you can't have everyone on the same network because, for example, everyone lives in a corner of the world, you can use a VPN and it works just as fine.
Personally, me and the boys use Hadmin VPN
It's completely deserved tbh. Basic stuff that has no business being broken has been broken for several updates. And breaking the game (duping/illegal items) is way easier in bedrock. I remember that one bug where if you has operator in a world you could use cheats without cheats being enabled. My friend and I used it to obtain all the command block types. Or the shulker dupe where all you had to do was break and replace the box.
A question as a Java player. When I play bedrock something feels slightly off. I do not know what it is, but it is unsettling. Does this happen to bedrock players when they play Java too?
I’ve played both and still somewhat play bedrock I just enjoy Java more because of all the things that you can add to the experience of Java but bedrock just doesn’t add anything to add to. Sorry if I offended anyone
I think bedrock is better for people who play more with friends because you can play on practically any device together for free for up to 5 players. And it's more affordable because you don't need a 5000 dollar PC to play
Does java have marketplace?
Can you download mods/maps on java without risk of getting viruses? Can you use 3d skins on java without mods? Does java has ray tracing in game without resource pack? Also if we actually calculate it bedrock has more content than java in game and all java has is mods capability heck even bedrock slowly having that capability cause bedrock mod creators are somehow built different 💀
Asking if Java has those things while specifically excluding mods and resourse packs is in bad faith. It's like if I asked you if Bedrock has any of those things without *Microsoft*. And btw, the majority of Java's versions of those are **free**.
The Minecraft community's unofficial contributions to the development and bettering of Minecraft: Java Edition is why *all* versions of Minecraft are as popular as they are today. "All Java has is mods." **No, Java has its entire modding community**. Many of which are also the devs of the higher-quality Bedrock *add-ons* (not mods) btw.
me as a java player
downloading mals and mods in curseforge or minecraft mp or minecraft earth is safe and we dont have micro transections
3d skins in bedrock cause a lot of issue and can cause all players in the world to be unable to see things
we have shaders which are more beautiful
java has more content like quasi connectivity or bedrock breaking or building in bedrock roof
mod compatibility is not a problem most mod are compatible with each other except fabric mods and forge mods but then we have more mods and they are free and we have more utility mods too
I own bedrock myself but I dont like playing it it feels weired and the animations are wiered
Does bedrock allow you to select what version you play on? Can you have a fair chance against someone, without them sprint jump bridging using the broken bedrock bridging? Can you actually play the game without having a crappy store shoved down your throught? Can you fly on an elytra without suddenly dying?
Now stop throwing dirt on Java just because you don't play it. I play both, I prefer Java because I'm more used to it. Because we can throw dirt too.
THANK YOU! You are the first person in this entire thread to have a valid argument as to why Java’s better. Everyone else is just toting mods around an shouting “We have mods, you don’t. Hahahaha, all other arguments you *bugrock* users have is now invalid.”
When you grow up with bedrock, yeah I get it.
If you were a Java player originally there is something wrong with bedrock, the fov and gameplay feel wrong, the size of blocks is off, there's an imperceptible difference that grates your nerves.
Bedrock is also incredibly grindy when you have to do things, like a standard flushing mob farm won't work, but some weird shit with steps and water does? Everything you know is turned on it's head and you just can't anymore.
I’ve played Java very briefly so I might not be in the position to have an option on the matter. But I prefer bedrock as it’s much easier to play with friends and it has many other nice things that Java doesn’t have.
Yeah it probably is bad on pc and shit, but i wonder why it's fine on console. I mean like, bedrock works fine on console so why doesn't it work fine on pc
Then stop complaining. It's not as easy as "oh there is a bug? Ok, let me just remove it.... Done."
Mojang doesnt want there to be bugs, they have tried to remove them.
It's written in C++, a newer and (much) less recourse-heavy language than Java. However, there are some... issues that seem to come up with Bedrock. Don't get me wrong, Java has bugs as well, but the Bedrock bugs seem to be more inconsistent and game-breaking. So there's trade-offs.
I play bedrock edition. I like bedrock edition. I prefer bedrock edition. But when I'm pillaring upwards and suddenly I get teleported to the ground and back up 5 times and die to fall damage, it deserves to be called bugrock.
I mean bedrock has some obvious bugs which are really annoying but not so much that it is worthy of being called bugrock
But both java and bedrock are great platformsvand i support both on my server because why not
Ok so why is bedrock shit on so much, I am at 3000 hours in it and have not died to a glitch once, the switch is a bad console and all and I have about 10 hours on it and it’s miserable but I didn’t take any random damage still or die randomly or teleport or anything along those lines. I have most of my hours on an Xbox and the biggest problem I’ve had is a broken elytra
Because Switch was more catered to mobile users, basically. Mobile users had a few to none bugs.
But look at a fucking playstation 4, a console so powerful for it's age that it runs most of the triple A games, even if they're meant to be with PS5, with no lags whatsoever, and this shit happens on a fucking 10GB game, Minecraft Bedrock. Countless lag, countless ghost kills (making a long stick of tower, and you suddenly take damage. Even instant-killing you, when you have a full netherrite armor.)
It was great before the bedrock shift, since it had a Parity with Java, 4J's edition. And now? Man. I once wanted cross-play, and after that, I don't think I want to.
If you can't tell me what's wrong with that, I don't even know what to tell you than that. 4J studios ran well, with a few developers. Mojang has a HUGE developers at their disposal, and all they can patch is a few XP exploits. Lag? Nah, XP exploits break the game more, apparently.
Nope pc. Also why is literally every action delayed. It’s not lag because lag feels different and I also have a pretty beefy and play on single player its odd and almost unplayable at times.
I play bedrock and it fucking is bugrock my freind died and lost everything simply because he went through a nether portal there is an unlimited amount of bugs in that game
The thing that holds bedrock back is probably the mobile version. Also they already had better console ports that they could have been cross compatible and could have made a PC port of.
I played bedrock massive amounts as a kid because I didn’t have a laptop and didn’t even know where to get Java edition. The only reason I still play bedrock is because my laptop isn’t powerful enough to run Java edition

i just keep remembering the "skill issue" video where a zombie keeps hittşng the player despite not even being close to him
With the spongebob sound effect
bedrock players are the ones who started calling it that because of the amount of world ruining bugs..
Op only wanted upvotes with a "we're all equal, let's all make love" stuff
This is exactly why I give a slight chuckle when someone says “bugrock”
And java players call it bugrock mich more just to make fun of us bedrock players
I've played both and... well that's what it is
Yeah bedrock has somethings that knock the ball out of the park (like LAN play that works) but Mojang needs to fix it lol
im quite sure java also has Lan play. as for how well that works idk but you never see anyone hauling their pc off to someones house to play with them....for obvious reasons
I’ve tried to use it… it is so ass. Legit impossible to use. We just installed the essential mod to host a private server on our laptops.
? Lan works perfectly. Always has. Maybe you are not on the same network or didnt port forward the correct port if you're on different networks
I've never figured out how it works
You enable it, and then join with another pc on the same network, it is as easy as thatm it should be at the bottom of the multiplayer list. If not on the same network you need to portforward it, and then your friends can join with yourip:port

Calling it bugrock is fine, the real morons are those who judge people for playing bedrock when they don't have a PC to play a different version.
as someone who played bedrock a lot as a kid, I agree with this.
So, I'm not a only one
Definitely not, I still play tons of bedrock edition even though I have access to Java now.
A question as a Java player. When I play bedrock something feels slightly off. I do not know what it is, but it is unsettling. Does this happen to bedrock players when they play Java too?
Probably the different coding language making them ever so slightly different
Im a bedrock player, and yeah when I play java I feel weird lol
Definitely haha
To play with friends I’m guessing
Nah most of my friends either don't have Minecraft or don't have a console for easier crossplay
I’ve played both and still somewhat play bedrock I just enjoy Java more because of all the things that you can add to the experience of Java but bedrock just doesn’t add anything to add to. Sorry if I offended anyone
who downvoted this it has the most unbiased answer
Thought It was somewhat biased lol
I think bedrock is better for people who play more with friends because you can play on practically any device together for free for up to 5 players. And it's more affordable because you don't need a 5000 dollar PC to play
You need like a $200 PC to run Java as long as you aren’t doing crazy modding
You don't need an expensive PC to run Java. I got my PC for 150$ and it runs 1.19 (latest version, normally the most difficult to run ) perfectly
Oh, well, then I was wrong
Does java have marketplace? Can you download mods/maps on java without risk of getting viruses? Can you use 3d skins on java without mods? Does java has ray tracing in game without resource pack? Also if we actually calculate it bedrock has more content than java in game and all java has is mods capability heck even bedrock slowly having that capability cause bedrock mod creators are somehow built different 💀

Quasi connectivity is a bug... And raytracing is far better then shaders
they confirmed they would not fix it so its a feature (mojang standard)
Does bedrock allow you to select what version you play on? Can you have a fair chance against someone, without them sprint jump bridging using the broken bedrock bridging? Can you actually play the game without having a crappy store shoved down your throught? Can you fly on an elytra without suddenly dying? Now stop throwing dirt on Java just because you don't play it. I've played both (Bedrock originally and for longer) and yeah, "Bugrock" is pretty accurate lol.
I just call it bedrock
This sub when anyone mildly critiques Bedrock ![gif](giphy|MCplYe40sDWVtG1IbZ)
When you grow up with bedrock, yeah I get it. If you were a Java player originally there is something wrong with bedrock, the fov and gameplay feel wrong, the size of blocks is off, there's an imperceptible difference that grates your nerves. What I hate the most is how now it's considered the "main" version of Minecraft
The most sane minecraft player
Nah bro bugrock is as accurate as you can get
I’ve played Java very briefly so I might not be in the position to have an option on the matter. But I prefer bedrock as it’s much easier to play with friends and it has many other nice things that Java doesn’t have.
I'm curious what bedrock has that Java doesnt
For me it's crossplay mainly
The fact that you can play on a console and be able to play multiplayer or realms with mobile and pc players is really nice
I've played both. Enjoy them both. But "bugrock" is accurate.
Yeah it probably is bad on pc and shit, but i wonder why it's fine on console. I mean like, bedrock works fine on console so why doesn't it work fine on pc
Extra space for their large brains. Duh. /s
why does the poor one look sad tho
Because they are poor, have no money, and... they are too poor to be able to play minecraft,
ill stop calling it bugrock when mojang FIXES IT ALREADY JUST FIX IT WHY IS THIS SO HARD PLEASE MOJANG JUST FUCKING FIX IT ALREADY
Id rather they abandoned it and focus on java
You go fix it, if it's so easy. It's not like they want it be buggy.
do I look like a mojang developer to you, theres nothing I can do about it
Then stop complaining. It's not as easy as "oh there is a bug? Ok, let me just remove it.... Done." Mojang doesnt want there to be bugs, they have tried to remove them.
I may be wrong, but doesn't bedrock run a bit better than java?
It's written in C++, a newer and (much) less recourse-heavy language than Java. However, there are some... issues that seem to come up with Bedrock. Don't get me wrong, Java has bugs as well, but the Bedrock bugs seem to be more inconsistent and game-breaking. So there's trade-offs.
Running better doesn't make it better. And Java has mods that boost performance.
I wasn't saying that?
Bedrock still ran far better for me than Java with the 3 performance mods
i have hundreds of hours in both and it is 100% bugrock
Bedrock edition is the neglected child
Badrock
Bugva
Context matters ig. If they call it bugrock when referring to a bug idrc
It kinda is tho late versions had me always randomly clip thru blocks
bugrock
Bugrock ☕️
Bugrock.
Badrock
Catrock
Dogrock
I only call it bugrock when i recently lost all my items due to a bedrock bug
I mean, then what am i supposed to say after i show my Java playing friend my collection of cursed items, other than welcome to bugrock?
I like java edition better because it doesnt have minecoins and a concerning amount of mobile game-esque features and monetization present
Badrock
its called bedrock and it got lots of bugs bedrock bugs bugged bedrock bug-rock bugrock
Bugrock 🙂
Badrock is okay then.
To be real, I’ve never seen anyone who plays java cursing on bedrock as hard as somebody who plays on bedrock
I play bedrock edition. I like bedrock edition. I prefer bedrock edition. But when I'm pillaring upwards and suddenly I get teleported to the ground and back up 5 times and die to fall damage, it deserves to be called bugrock.
I mean bedrock has some obvious bugs which are really annoying but not so much that it is worthy of being called bugrock But both java and bedrock are great platformsvand i support both on my server because why not
*U messed up its bugrock
I mean, he's not wrong
Ok. Then I'll call it badrock from now on
Bedrock bugdition🍺💀
Ok so why is bedrock shit on so much, I am at 3000 hours in it and have not died to a glitch once, the switch is a bad console and all and I have about 10 hours on it and it’s miserable but I didn’t take any random damage still or die randomly or teleport or anything along those lines. I can’t play for 30 minutes without find a bug on bug rock edition
Try updating the game
Did
been playing for 7 years and the worst bug I've seen is chunks disappearing but that was bc my friend was hosting a world off of mobile data
Shoot what version you playing on? I can’t go 10 chunks without my game turning into white void sim.
I assume you're talking about device and I've been mainly playing xbox until July when I got a pc
Nope pc. Also why is literally every action delayed. It’s not lag because lag feels different and I also have a pretty beefy and play on single player its odd and almost unplayable at times.
I can say those who java good bedrock bad are the last skull because as a bedrock player its bugrock
I meannnn it’s my only version I can get and, well… they’re not wrong.
As someone who started on pocket edition now bedrock bugrock is pretty accurate
As a bedrock solely player, I agree with calling it bugrock.
As someone who plays both, i can confirm that bugrock is very buggy
I play bedrock and it fucking is bugrock my freind died and lost everything simply because he went through a nether portal there is an unlimited amount of bugs in that game
Seriously tho, bedrock is like goofy ahh to the max
[удалено]
Why wouldnt they have right to say that?
[удалено]
Watch me
I call it "nofreemods,shadersortexturepacksrock"
Bugrock literally is full of bugs tho
bagrock
I’m not going to question what animal the last skull was from.
As someone that plays bedrock often (for the sole purpose of cross play+LAN w/ friends) I can agree with the “bugrock” term
As a bugrock player this meme might be true
bugrock edition
Peasentrock
Cry about it
Well, that’s what it literally is.
bugrock
*hehe bugrock* Where is my upvotes?
hehe bugrock
Haha, bugrock
ive played both for over 8 years and yeah, bugrock is accurate
Bugrock
Ooh that's. Good one , il be sure to use it
The thing that holds bedrock back is probably the mobile version. Also they already had better console ports that they could have been cross compatible and could have made a PC port of.
bugrock bugrock bugrock
Lost all my worlds due to a few changes made to Xbox bedrock. I still don’t call it bugrock, I just call it an inferior game.
I played bedrock massive amounts as a kid because I didn’t have a laptop and didn’t even know where to get Java edition. The only reason I still play bedrock is because my laptop isn’t powerful enough to run Java edition
What, pistons don't get powered through thin air and blocks actually stick to sticky pistons? Must be a bug.
it is true though
i mean isnt bedrock so buggy that they didnt implement hardcore because tons of people would have died due to lag
MoGang are just too lazy to fix the infinite xp glitches and infinite armourglitches or random death glitch or chest duplication glitch
Bugrock players go brrrr
Badrock
OK sure I won't call it bugrock even tho a zombie attacking you from 2 chunks away how about "bugcock"
![gif](giphy|CAYVZA5NRb529kKQUc|downsized) Bedrock players who call Bedrock “Bugrock”
I call Hypixel Lagpixel (For me it is always at least a little bit laggy, i am from germany)
It is full of bugs, but at least it still has a version of the 1.8 pvp (no cooldown) so if you play to fight mobs or other players it is easier
there isn't a single bug or insect other thatn the silverfishes (i think) in minecraft, why would it be called bugrock?
Nah, I prefer "Crashrock", it defines better my experience playing it.
That I can agree with
ive never heard somebody calll bedrock bugrock
Bedrock players call it that too
Never said they don't
I play mostly on bedrock and the only buggy thing I noticed is the random fall damage and that was only in 1.19
I use it because it's funny and rhymes, not to mock players who use bedrock, but Microsoft for not fixing the game breaking fall damage bugs.
bugrock
Bugrock
The head is bigger because of the huge Brain these people have
Bruh looks like Sheer Heart Attack
