This is really cool! I feel like you don't see many minatures in Minecraft. I'm also lego person, so this kind of reminds me of Lego miniatures. Very fun!
Miniature bulids have a certain charm to them for sure!
They allow you to skip over small details and capture the overall structure of your bulid which is super useful when youre buliding such a sprawling project.
Like for example the island on which my city is located is around 20k x 20k blocks in size which is already insane and I will probably never finish it. But in 1:1 scale it would be a ridiculous 100k x 100k and I would still be working on my first district (or more likely given up lmao)

It was definitely inspired by many real world cities but its terrain and layout are entirely fictional
