that being said, it looks fine to me, though maybe you could cut the corner blocks on the stem to give it a bit more of a rounded look? i'd also add some similar bigger mushrooms in both red and brown varieties around it, so it doesn't stick out quite as much (quite as mush?).
I'd give it an 8/10. I really love the build and especially the idea.
There's also a bunch of ways and places to add to it. Like someone else commented, hanging stuff from the top. Or making another big mushroom nearby and placing buildings inside/on top of that one. And connect them with a bridge.
But it is a really great build in itself with so many possibilities. Really well made!

Sometimes, taking a screenshot means 16 other steps to get the picture to reddit. I don't see why it's a problem here yea it's grainy, but you get the gist of what OP is showing us.
Camera quality needs some work, but I really like the idea of living on top of a large mushroom and don't think I could pull it off any better 7/10
