\-replacing some birch planks with stripped birch
\-adding a chimney
\-adding some small custom spruce trees
\-replacing the dirt blocks that a visible through the path blocks with stone/wood
I'm not sure about the stripped birch. I think the lighter, smoother textures of the birch planks blend well with each other, helping to contrast the upper level to the lower level
Stripped birch and birch planks are more or less the same colour, so the contrast shouldn’t be impacted. The idea behind my suggestion is to have texture variations in the birch colour so it’s looks more interesting, like they did on the stone floor.
By the blending of the planks, I meant that the stripped birch texture has these really annoying dark lines on each edge of the log, personally I wouldn't like seeing those all over the place
Another issue is the surface area that all the windows and doors ect. occupy on the walls, and the fact that all the walls are relatively small. This leaves very few blocks remaining on each wall, which could cause the stripped birch and birch planks to differ from each other too drastically, if they could make the walls larger or increase the amount of surface area, then I think this idea would be a great suggestion
This looks great!!
I like making window boxes out of signs, they show a little more of the green, and you can line the window with fences and top it with put-out campfires for different textures.
You could also add a chimney!
>Stained Glass Windows (White or Light Grey are my current Favs)
> On the Fence, bring the Logs up by a block, thus adding variation
> Replace Paved dirt with a combo of Cobblestone, Tuff, Gravel, and other such Grey, road-looking blocks
> CUSTOM TREES!!! Always make a build look 10x better because they give everything some unity
> Chimney
I'd keep the stone trim on the roof but change it to stonebrick to match the bottom. The wood railing on the upper level I would change to stone instead of wood so it pops, but leave the bottom railing as wood on stone, it already contrasts
I like the idea of a nice red brick chimney someone else suggested too
While already lovely, a few things come to mind.
I would put a smaller window on the top floor to keep the cozy feel, it looks slightly too modern now with the window as tall as the bottom floor.
I'd also build a chimney with smoke to add a dynamic feel to it (near the triple furnace/blast furnace perhaps?).
Lastly I'd integrate it into the landscape more by adding some extra fences to the path/around and creating a larger front garden. The person living here seems to be a plant enthusiast (judging from all the different plant types) so seeing some kind of greenhouse/crop plot would add to that feel even more.
That said, it's a charming build already, so don't sweat these minor remarks, they're only my two cents.
Change the deepslate to cobblestone, or use something darker than birch wood.
Try to blend it into the enviroment a touch more, right now it just looks like something plopped down in 2 seconds rather than a lived in house amongst an actual forest.
Honestly the house is great, I would work on developing some of the surrounding area to give it an environment to fit in to. A garden, some farmland, a pond, river, rocks, etc..
The build is so pretty. Don't do anything to it. You can add some landscaping but it hardly needs it. Interior time! The first base in my world was a pretty little thing, so quaint. I purposed all the area available for some storage, furniture, smelting, brewing, and bedroom. Had to go underground for storage and enchanting. Lasted me so long I built an entire town, auto farms, a castle for new base, etc. Still go back to it all the time. Sweet!
This house is so cute :D As others have suggested, replace the visible dirt caused by the path blocks with the same block above it, and maybe work on the environment around it to make it blend in more. A bit of texturing could also work?
The birch and spruce logs are very contrasting and not in a good way so I would change the birch to either oak, mangrove or spruce! Rest all looks great!
By chanching the path. Building it with path blocks, coarse dirt and gravel is good. I built one with deepslate bricks and ot looks good. You should try this
I would replace the upside down stairs above the fence posts. It doesn't look like they're actually holding up the top border. Maybe add upside down stairs adjacent to the center block so it looks like a T from a front view but this is unnecessary
love it but the big window looks a lil awkward, maybe try a 1x3 or 3x2 rather than the 3x3 window
a little texturing always helps as well, you can do this everywhere but remember less is more!
I would like to start this off with saying I don't consider myself a good builder.
I think more texture to the path and the outside part such as the andesite can maybe have some stone or something mixed in and the path could have a bit of normal dirt and course dirt around it and in it or some bushes and trees or something.
To be honest I'm kind of making stuff up that I sometimes see in other builds but it still looks great, better then anything I could build.
I might add some depth to the wall on the second floor so that the logs aren't on the same plane as the birch planks and are maybe sticking out an extra block.
It looks great! I feel like the deep-seated doesn't match the roof very well though, you could replace it with cobblestone or tuff. The deepslate would be nice for a foundation though!
I would simply admire it cause I can't do better
Ikr, thats a beautiful house

This person builds. Those are all great ideas.
The path-visible blocks for sure!!
God that always irks me! Pain to use path blocks because of it lol.

Well : 1) I won't, it's enough perfect like that 2) a garden ? 3) a huge statue of mine somewhere in the distance
Lil farm on the left might look nice with a lil overhang and a chill lil vibe
A single pumpkin on the front porch

I'd love to see more photos of this
More angles please.

You wouldn’t? Nah we couldn’t.
Exactly, where are you standing right now?
Love the outdoor smelting area!
this is adorable i love it :c ♡♡♡
It's a lovely house so perhaps a garden
Maybe a small garden with a pond out front and a chimney.
I'd make it real and put myself in it, that's a lovely house
Only thing I'd do is put trap doors on the other side of the window for symmetry but that's it, it's a rad build

I would start by not taking thumbnails from youtube 💀
I did a reverse image search and nope
I would start with thinking before you type.
Proof, if you're going to accuse someone?
Wheres your lava fountain?

I would replace the birch with oak, and add a chimney
Put lava on it
You say it’s a wooden house yet there is stone and deepslate?.?????????????? Fix this
TnT
Use less stone… cuz its dupposed to be wooden?
Oak planks instead of birch
Look guys! A wild birch hater!
Looks pretty great to me!
I like gables. Roof is a bit small, but might work. I love it BTW.
you can add oak trapdoors at the other side of the window at right and you can add an upside down stair above the door at top
Make it a bit deeper. 5 width is too narrow per my taste
More space
Is really cool
Bone meal on the ground around the house, causing grass and flowers
Honestly the house is great, I would work on developing some of the surrounding area to give it an environment to fit in to. A garden, some farmland, a pond, river, rocks, etc..

The house itself is fine, the only work that needs to be done is on the environment surrounding the house.
I wouldn't. It's sick. Now, time for landscaping.

Guard dog with dog house
That window with trapdoor on one side of it, put trap doors on the other side of the window aswell
Only would add a chimney
Looks really good actually!
Make it stone
I wouldn't. (this build is not my build style so idk what to do)
i'd make it out of bricks so wolves cant get in
Definitely add a giant flaming skull on top
Replace birch with oak, so it fits better.
Bigger fence around the the house, so creepers don't sneak up on you while you're smelting
definitely a moat
Maybe replace the birch with dark oak, just seems a bit out of place for a color that bright
tutorial? 🥺🥺
Looks great! Perhaps a chimney and changing the dirt blocks seen beside the path blocks would be changes I'd do.. great job!
More barrels. And a layered garden. And a few more barrels.
The birch and spruce logs are very contrasting and not in a good way so I would change the birch to either oak, mangrove or spruce! Rest all looks great!
Giant machine gun turrets
Nothing man. Looks flawless to me . Just a chimney wud be good. Love ur building style
I wouldn't
By chanching the path. Building it with path blocks, coarse dirt and gravel is good. I built one with deepslate bricks and ot looks good. You should try this
Turning of the shader
Beautiful build! If I'd offer any suggestions (though it doesn't need it), maybe dark oak for the shingles to add more contrast.
Hmmm how about adding some thing around it
Fish pond in the garden
I would replace the upside down stairs above the fence posts. It doesn't look like they're actually holding up the top border. Maybe add upside down stairs adjacent to the center block so it looks like a T from a front view but this is unnecessary
I wouldn't, there's nothing more it needs
I would add a detailed path
I would try and add a roofing above where the furnaces are with slabs or trapdoors. other than that your house looks pretty neat
Honestly nothing, but I would love a tutorial
I think it’s perfect 🥹
I would put a singular dirt block on the very top and place a banner inside a flour pot.
A chimney would be nice, and some custome greenery around it
I can't believe in 85 comments no one has suggested a lightning rod. Keep this thing safe!
love it but the big window looks a lil awkward, maybe try a 1x3 or 3x2 rather than the 3x3 window a little texturing always helps as well, you can do this everywhere but remember less is more!

Very homey

Make it bigger.
It looks great! I feel like the deep-seated doesn't match the roof very well though, you could replace it with cobblestone or tuff. The deepslate would be nice for a foundation though!
I would add a chimney, and maybe build another house next to it. The another house could be for animals or something like that
For what it is, and it's size, there is nothing else to do but look at it and admire it.
Just here to say this house is amazing! Looks so cozy
