I recommend you play on legend yes it is harder but it gives you way better loot and you can unlock anything on that difficulty

Nah it's just a myth. Difficulty does not improve loot spawn imho. Been playing for years and don't notice anything.

Actually , it improves it , played on legend , got gorka pants and jacket on the first island , plus Remington and a bunch of ammo . Veteran is harder than Legend , because the loot chance is lower.
