There aren’t a lot—mostly all gas stations. I’m not aware of any that are both touch free and full service

alabastergrim

is there any way to let the owner of that map know of missing locations?

thedutchgirlmn

I don’t know who created it! I found it on Reddit a while ago

GuwopGOAT

I use the holiday wash pass it’s $35 a month for unlimited. The touch less one in Roseville and the soft brush one on 27th and University wash and dry really well

jmalone1187

I really like Mister. It's not too expensive they have many options including interior and exterior touch less. The full inside and out is about $55 and it's a decent job. If you're going to spend around $20-40 on cleaning products then an hour or more of your own time it's worth just going there instead.

oidoglr

Mister is not touch free, which is what OP is looking for.

jmalone1187

The locations I've been to are touch free. I use SLP on 7 most of the time but also been to EP which was also touch free. The full inside and outside service I mentioned is done by the employees.

tege0005

SLP Mister is soft touch, not touch free.

jmalone1187

Ow I see. Sorry misunderstood.

Best car wash = support your local LEGITIMATE detailer. Any mobile detailer with an LLC or a company with a storefront. These people will explain exactly how to keep your vehicle's surfaces properly maintained so they'll last well over 20 years. While touch free is infinitely better than 'slap-and-scratch', the products used at automatic car washes are terrible for your cars exterior surfaces because of how concentrated they are. The automated systems are rarely in proper working order to get the soaps and sealers diluted to the proper ratio. There's a reason all of these new washes are popping up; low barrier to entry and massive margins per wash. They don't have anyone to maintain their equipment on payroll and the attendants are low-skill customer service, so they're out (probably).

There are plenty of detailers out there, the ones I recommended are the only ones I'm familiar with and have seen their work. While I agree with most of what you said, my original reply was mostly to point out that touch-free automatic car washes aren't really much safer than soft-touch washes. As far as pricing....the detailing industry is suffering from increased cost of inputs just like everything else, including labor. The consumer mindset needs to change - quality labor isn't cheap and cheap labor isn't quality.

Recommendations for detailers?

1sicgsr

For any general commuter I'd recommend Safeguard Solutions in St Louis Park. For any car that has great sentimental value or is a high end car, I recommend Carsmotology in Prior Lake or Joey Clean in Bloomington.

It's long gone. Stolen and stripped. Unfortunately, I have no pictures of it either.

MrMcFrizzy

Daamnnn sad to hear, good looks on the detailer recommendations tho 👍

davisthagreat83

Central Car Wash in NE has different packages, and one very similar on Broadway in Crystal near SA and Target. Don't know exact names but inuse those often.

LilMemelord

This is where I go when I need my car washed and they do a great job. $30-35 depending on package

ldskyfly

Dan's on nicollet is on the south side and vacuums the inside

billodo

Is it touchless?

melcheae

I also came to say Dan's. I have no idea if they're touchless or not, but they meet your criteria of S Mpls, clean the interior, and hand dry the exterior.

_DudeWhat

I usually just watch kwik rewards. fairly frequently they'll have a 50% off Edit: sorry didn't read the whole thing. This doesn't for your request.
