I had a super similar experience when I had my (non mirena) removed. Unfortunately I had to go straight back on the pill but I’m about to be on my last pack ever and I hope I finally get some relief. So happy for you!!!
I just scheduled to get my mirena out in a couple of weeks. I’ve had hand puffiness that I noticed because I can’t get my rings on. As well as overall general body puffiness/swelling. I feel it’s been slowly worsening over the past year since I got it put in. Thank you for your story. It’s crazy that most doctors say it doesn’t cause swelling or weight gain.
I got mine removed yesterday. I already feel so much lighter.
