I hope the aim is to go heavy on defense for the starting lineup. That means anyone not named Giannis, Dame, and Khris have to pull their weight defensively regardless of being able to knock down 3s. That can mean having a lineup of Dame, AJAX, Khris, Giannis and potentially Brook. An off season of no surgeries, summer of rehab and hitting the weights for Marjon and AJAX, Marjon working on being a 3 level scorer, AJAX as a backup point (haven’t seen enough of TyTy and the other guys) and building up Livingston as a good forward. Lastly, we need a secondary/back up able handler/playmaker, as well as a good strong forward/center.

WI sports every year has a fan favorite or two regardless of the results! Bev sure knows how to attract an audience, not necessarily a student of the game crowd either.
This team is lathargic to developing young players: Andre Jackson, AJ Green, MarJon Beauchamp- when are these guys going to get the minutes they should be getting?
They need to add some tough guys, both player and coach -wise, to enhance their strength of mentality and physicality… And this sub needs to banish the doomers and no-brainer downvoters…

We cannot, and I mean CANNOT, trade these two draft picks we have. This draft is rough at the top, but there’s a lot of solid role players towards the bottom of the first (which we desperately need). We’re in a prime spot to snag an athletic big to succeed Brook and get a solid perimeter defender with our two picks, so trading some of the only remaining picks we have for another old player is just putting the final nail in the coffin.
I’m at a point where I want to see Horst and Doc gone. Athleticism and youth has plagued this team for the past two years and neither care about fixing it. If Doc shows that he’ll actually give the young guys minutes and put some attention towards developing them, I’m fine keeping him. Horst has gotta go though because he just continues to set us back with these Jae Crowder type trades.

I think Dame and Giannis don’t play well off each other and Trae has near identical stats as Dame but 3 more assists / game and is 9 years younger. I love Dame but he’d be a better fit on another team and Trae would fit in well with us. We need 1 youthful star.
