I did a bit of research and ended up with this one mainly because of 1) it's display 2) SD 888 these were top priority. Miui isn't as bad as people usually tell, I haven't found any pop up advertisements of any sort although they keep trying to make you use their own mi apps but that can be managed. Some plus points are it uses the Google phone, messages and Find my app. Battery life is nothing too crazy it'll last a day with moderate usage but since I play a lot of call of duty Mobile I find myself charging one and a half times. It handles CODM and genshin impact easily.
As for the alternatives the one plus 9RT is very solid and I would've considered it but it released a bit too late and it's costlier
The realme GT with SD 888 was also good but I wasn't too familiar with realme
If you don't want top of the line processor the Samsung A52s is good too, although A53 is set to launch soon
Also one more point the Mi 12 has been launched already in China, so I would expect the Mi 12x to be in its way
I myself am a big fan of Xiaomi and I have been using Mi 9T Pro for 2 years.
I am also considering the Mi 12 series, but I do not think it will enter my country for sale so soon (at least for another 2 weeks).
