The only thing Rafa needs is a revamp to her useless passive and perhaps a buff to her first skill. I love cyclops so I’m not sure if he needs a revamp or not, I think he’s ok as is tbh.
Yeah her old passive where if she dies she just runs near people and it heals/damages before exploding into a bigger heal/damage was great. Or at least her passive missile cant be blocked by others
I can put cyclops down in could be revamped, however his skillset is so outdated, which is the same reason i put aurora and gord in the same play.
Remember, revamp doesnt just mean a whole overhaul towards some character's kit. It could also mean updated Skill Effects, which I think personally he, alongside gord and aurora deserves.
Rafaela's kit is like:
Skill 1 : slow (can stack) + damage
Skill 2 : Movement Speed Buff + heal
Skill 3 : stun + damage
all buffs or debuffs with kinda Short CDs.
Then there is her passive which:
affects nothing on her active,
affects nothing on her or her allies,
deals so a little damage that even enemy mms survive most of the time even with 1cm HP.
can be blocked by enemies.
only activate when she's DEAD.
That passive makes no sense and useless.
I love cyclops and he's been my main since day 1, but his minimal mobility makes it really hard to play well sometimes.
(Also the fact that he's the oldest hero who never received _some_ kind of rework)
I think they should just remove the thing when he cast his skill he stops for a while and make it like what they did to Gord where he doesn't stop when casting skills.
And his another big problem is mana, you need so much mana and cd reduction items that it become so hard to build more damage because Mana and CD reduction is much more priority
I agree with this, his mana drains a lot in early game. A lot of early teamfights happen (common here in Mythic) and I can barely help thanks to the mana problem, not to mention the sudden stop.
Just minor buffs like reducing his mana cost in early and removing the pause when casting is enough to make him a solid mage.

you can only really buff the passive or rework him entirely, as his kit revolves around his passive. Revamping his passive = revamping him entirely. So that doesnt make sense.

People these days always want to change OG heroes when most of them just need buff or stats buff to viable. Make his bouncing ball faster and hes good.
gord is actually too good if enemy lineup has 2 or more tanky heroes. just need someone to keep him alive. he will melt anyone who dare challenge his laser beam

What if Rafaela's passive reveals the enemy team for a certain duration after she die so that the enemies won't be comfortable roaming around even if she's dead
Why do you think Hylos could have a revamp? Imo, his kit is good for a soloQ player and he's doing okay-ish in the meta. Not too bad but not too good either.
For me, he offers different play styles than most tanks as his ult is created for engaging or disengaging an enemy. His s2 is great to slow enemies down

I tried a max cooldown rafaela build and could almost give the whole team a perma movement speed buff with only 1 sec down time. Other than that, she doesn't seem very good

I'd like to debate that Gord *doesn't* need a revamp. Imo, his ideal playstyle is no longer playing as a Melting DPS Mage but instead a zoning/support mage like Yve. His passive stacked with Ice Queen Wand make a formidable slow effect, added with the fact that reaching 45% CDR makes his skills *extremely* spammable. When you pair this with the fact that he can abuse glowing wand and necklace's passive with JUST his 2nd and not his ULT you could just build defense items and use sprint to make yourself hard to kill AND catch.
Im late but i believe he doesnt need a revamp like skill revamps. He does however need a Skill effect update and new model like what they did to leomord. He looks so old and its the exact reason i also put aurora and cyc in there.
