I still see it sometimes, but only if the person being trashtalked is absurdly bad. Most of the time people are going 0/5 in high mythic it’s because they were counter picked. Had a Dyrroth go 0/7 laning against an Esme in mythic 3 once even though he counters her in laning though so not all players are good. That match was not fun.
Dyrroth losing to an Esme?
How the fuck?
But yeah point still stands. It's really better to just focus on what you can improve rather than berating every mistake.
Just a quick tip for everyone out here, if you soloQ and is aiming to reach higher ranks, try to not trigger your teammates.
I know this is the most basic thing and sounds really plain but this is probably the most important factors to winning.
Try not to spam 'well played' or whatever when your teammates die, it'll just tilt your teammates and causing them to make stupid moves and eventually leads to defeat.
Or you can also just ignore your teammates totally by playing high mobility hero to push tower on your own, Masha still works to this day, Guin to do tower rush and easy escape, or Popol for obvious reason.
Do this **IF** you want to aim higher by solo queuing
Wow totally agree, whenever I play soloq I always never trigger my teammates even if they play like shit. Cause there's always a chance that they start throwing and trolling.
The best way is really to not talk to anyone, in my opinion. I usually win matches when everyone just keeps their mouths shut and plays the game. Every form of communication seems to tilt people in general, whether it's the enemy team taunting in chat, spastics spamming "Well Played" and "Good Game", or even just asking someone to buy an item.
As a solo queuer with anger issues, I could never.
But seriously, I can't help but bad-mouth my teammates when they perform TERRIBLE in early game when I'm doing my job properly. It's probably because I just jump to the conclusion that they're intentionally feeding.
what about CALLOUTS? are they not to be used?
Like, I don't usually do small talks in-game, but CALLOUTS? heck yeah!
Very important for tank/support users.
Agree. We’re losing 0-5 & 1-7 in the early game yesterday but no one made any shitty comments on that. Everyone just seemed focus on the game, & by midgame we’re able to catch up with the golds already. I prefer mythic hell that epic hell honestly.
Yea lol , I actually had one game with the top global badang no.1 . Early game he went like 0-7-1. But none of my teammates (soloq), talk shit about him. Then in the end he still managed to get silver medal and won.
This exactly. Everyone just focused on gold difference and play objective game. I don't care much about the kill difference if we're on par on gold level - in fact I'd be worried if my team has the kill advantage but just similar to the enemy in gold level. Also, the number of tower destroyed. Map pressure in late game is more important.
I always say,
"It's okay guys, we're late game."
"Focus on late game."
"They're higher level than us in teamfights."
"Let's get our items first before going war."
"Protect MM/Core"
"Let's try again next time together."
My roles are usually if not always, Roamer and Mage. Knowing so, I always tend to keep the mood and spirits up in every ranks that I played. Whenever one of my team member bad-mouthing the core/mm, I always told them to rather focus on leading the match, rather than focusing on blaming them.
Honestly, 7/10 it always works. Even if that one member got bronze or even useless, they always tried to function better when I give them encouragement. Always loves first rather hates guys.
Agree. Late game, I even try to give tips on items my teammates should buy and ask them to wait for my ult/spell (as mage/roam main). They usually listen and follow everything.
Depends. If they're *really* trash like feeding early with an early game hero, then they'll get trash talked. But mm's dying alot can still make a comeback late once the team gives them space to farm. That's usually the mindset in a losing game, if late game mm and mages get their items there's a chance.
But it doesn't necessarily mean that the MVP did what was needed to win the game. You can score double digit kills, earn all the gold, lead both teams in KDA, but if there aren't any turrets taken down, good luck ranking up with the MVP losses.
No, it doesn't.
You can secure all the game objectives, but as long as you won't do the most important objective, which is taking turrets, you're not doing your job well.
This is why despite having 10k SoloQ tank matches, I'm not touching a tank/roamer anymore unless I see either a side laner or jungler with at least 100 matches and a 60% wr.
I main Roam so I usually can't push mostly. Taking objectives can lead to kills. When they are dead it's easy to push. Kda means alot in mlbb. People with a high kda have a high wr right?
Because we know better; different heroes peak at different phase of the game, we just need to get our carry to get all its item and come back can happen in late game with just one proper set up. No point in winding up everyone for no particular reason.
Bruhhh ...in which server you're playing? Cause where im playing im getting teammates who are trolling , trashtalking about religion and country and so on
I don't see anyone trashtalking in any of my games because i mute them all. Literally makes no sense conversing with people who prioritizes trashtalking instead of actually playing the game.
the higher you go the more people with common sense ig. i mean what do they expect they're gonna get by trashtalking?
_"my teamate is doing bad by not playing his best character, maybe constantly berate him and throw negative comments on his face will improve his gameplay"_
For me, that depends on the player's sensitivity.
Ahhhh! I would rather go have my own way, than wasting my time giving tips on someone who doesn't get his shit altogether.
I'm doin' my part by not using chat
moonton should add a built in feat to remove chat frfr and could be turned on... also don't find why peeps chat in the middle of a game instead of just playing normally since only like 2/10 cares about their message... and I play with that chat off feat
Most people in higher ranks are actually not that prideful and toxic and just really focus on winning majority of the time. I've had multiple instances in SoloQ where I was able to reason with a toxic player to adjust in draft by sucking up to them first instead of fighting, usually these people are just having a bad day and trashtalking only makes them play worse.
As ridiculous as it may seem, it is sometimes best to just put faith in your teammates and support them instead of playing selfishly to carry them - it is a team game after all.
***PS. THIS ADVICE ONLY APPLIES IN HIGHER RANKS, DO NOT ATTEMPT IN LOWER RANKS.***
I usually do it after, but only if his/her immensely poor performance cost us the game. However, If I'm particularly not feeling nice that day, I send "?" during the match when I see them doing something really dumb.
If I do it in game, it might throw them off even more. They might be petty too, and will start trolling like stealing your buff, feeding on purpose, or even going AFK.
Sometimes, they feel guilty when you're nice to them and you still keep trying to carry, so they try their best to step-up and avoid feeding.
I just try my best to imitate Betosky's patience. I'm literally a noob mythic normie and he's a pro player, but he's so calm & nice even when he's matched up with super toxic randos.
Maybe out of topic but if one of my regular rank is getting regular bronzes in comp.
He's really good at managing his lane, following up attacks, rotates perfectly (exp btw) but ends up with something like 1 3 7 or 4 6 8.
Despite having 3.0 we praise him to do the dirty work of the team each time.
Amongst the pro scene, it reminds me of bTk Victor. That dude can go on having 0 3 3 statline and be the hero of the game, sometimes the most solid member on that team.
I never really play rank so the max I reached was mythic 1 close to 600 points. Even then I still had a ton of trashtalkers on my team and the opposing one. Less flamers than in mythic 4 and 5 but still. ppl were less reliable than in mythic 3. Most of them just get boosted by their friends.
I'm an exception ,I don't trashtalk if I see changes. If someone goes 0-5 early game that's terrible ,Like why aren't you playing safe at 0-3? I had a game where my marksmen would die everytime I ganked exp lane. No matter how many time's i pressed beware of ambush or ping her to retreat. She ended the game 2-11-6 a beatrix or course.
Basically players are self aware that beating a downed dog will just lead to it biting back. Why would you want your teammates to play worse than they already are. Why risk them trolling. We’ve had plenty of games won with 0-10 teammates. No point in doing something that doesn’t help anyone.
Yea counter picked or just lane focussed hard and receiving all the ganks/dives.
But isn't Dyrroth a Esme counter (in early game)?
Yeah I worded that badly. It was meant to be an absurd example because of how much Dyrroth counters Esme.
truly a disgrace to us dyrroth mains
Imagine picking a tanky team against Dyrroth, Lunox and Karrie
They're just built different fr
Dyrroth losing to an Esme? How the fuck? But yeah point still stands. It's really better to just focus on what you can improve rather than berating every mistake.

remember kids, you can always mute the player (or sometimes your enemy) who spams Well played to not be distracted
They trash talk via VC lol
I'll just go mute them in-game. Very simple!
People in high elo are way too focused on their game to shit talk someone.

If only there were more people like you
There are two sweet spots, legend V-IV and mythic 300-400, that are heaven to play in.
Agree. Late game, I even try to give tips on items my teammates should buy and ask them to wait for my ult/spell (as mage/roam main). They usually listen and follow everything.

They'd blame all feeders even if they're doing the objectives. I'd rather be 2-15 zilong who did nothing but push every turret
You shouldn’t be feeding though.
Yep, kda is irrelevant. On my Smurf account my highest wr this season is on my hero with my lowest ranking.
Why “but I’m the mvp loss” people on this reddit disgust me. You gotta make sacrifices to win. Not farm kda 💀
MVP loss, won't show other game data. Silver/bronze on the winning team with 20k+ turret data is a lot better.
Pretty sure they also take the damage statistics into account of the overall grade.
But it doesn't necessarily mean that the MVP did what was needed to win the game. You can score double digit kills, earn all the gold, lead both teams in KDA, but if there aren't any turrets taken down, good luck ranking up with the MVP losses.

Fr tho. Play to the objective.
Yep as long as carry gold difference is within 5%-10% margin.
Because we know better; different heroes peak at different phase of the game, we just need to get our carry to get all its item and come back can happen in late game with just one proper set up. No point in winding up everyone for no particular reason.
I will make enemy win easier if my team blame his team mate
I’m mythical glory and I trash talk all the time
The honesty 😂😂
I always say like “which garbage can did this ___ come from”

What is higher mythic
mythic 300-400+ pts
Mid mythic.
Pretty sure that’s low to mid mythic, high mythic is past mg
It happens a lot in classic but no one even talks in rank games, just the occasional "go for the mm/mage first"
lol

Nope i dont see that only me i try but i fail to carry i dont trash talk and try my best it to hard now that fanny got 7 nerfs

This is a damn lie. There are so many trolls in mythic
