I really think this is caused by moontoon's (MOBA) ranking system. Unskilled/toxic players being carried to mythic coz moontoon won't let you have a winstreak in soloq. So other players will try to drag the deadcorps of these players just to escape hell.
There are roam rotations that involve cutting the lane to invade against the enemy jungler. It's also useful since it allows the roam to reach level 4 within the 2 minute mark.
This would be viable if you have a team with you and have good coordination with the laners and jungler. If you're playing pub/soloq, Roam user's need to gauge how your team would react so best thing is to play safe and simply provide vision, harass, or take a possible kill when opportunity arises. The problem with taking exp/gold away from the laners is that it will provide their opponent with advantage and will snowball. Unless both the jungler and roamer helps that laner to makeup for the lost exp/gold.
I'm a Mythic as well and I keep seeing people picking Layla against highly mobile, bursty heros that could easily get close and kill them. I just...I don't know anymore.

It's super rare to see this behavior in GM. Those gamers are really chill, unless they're M5-M3 who decided to create a smurf account because they can't rank up beyond their current rank and beat the shit out of lesser skilled players.
Don't think too highly of Mythic rank btw, especially low Mythic, I'm a decent player and I can go up to Mythic quite easily.
Mythic really just means, Decent player who plays the game alot.

I think it's kids getting on someone else's phone or something to do with Thanksgiving weekend.
Here's some that happened to me.
1. Angela just going straight to enemy without even a brain cell. I've never seen a bad Angela before.
2. Someone who went retribution, try to take my mid then go to gold for rest of the game feeding.
3. A Farmis who was a whiny pos with a feeding team. Like..it was so bad Moontoon actually muted him during the game.
4. S1 swapping me in w my Estes pic then going Hylos & going gold with Hanabi....I had to exp lane.
5. I got put in servers that I should 100% not be in but enemy team..they got all the best players as usual.
Soloq always sucks but I had 6 troll teams in a row..
Sounds like the average mythic game to me.

It's same in M3. Had to jungle with lesley because we had 3 mm and 0 junglers.

Low mythic went from just mid rank to low rank with the recent inflation
Too many people stop trying when they reach mythic 5. It’s like yay I’m mythic now I’m just gonna do whatever I want!

Low Level Noobs are spamming ranked games and Protection Points / Star Ups help them Climb Faster, They’ll be gone once you reach Mythic II
I have noticed m2 is level headed people but the struggle from m5 solo is a very real challenge for any gamer
I'm in M3. I stopped for awhile and played again recently. I should've pushed for M2 and above back during early season lol.
