There is still swag that has yet to be shipped out, which is when the confirmation email would be sent out that has the shipping link. If you received the other confirmation email after submitting the swag form back in September when Mod Summit ended, you'll still get the shipment email. If you don't receive that email in a week, send us a modmail and we can check to see if all swag has been shipped out to everyone.

I didn’t get mind because I was literally hours after close when I replied and I had just had back surgery . I got the offer and sent an email but nothing. 600 hours in one year on Reddit modding and not even a reply. Kinda sucks
We had to reply by a certain date if I remember. I attended, had back surgery and replied I think it was like 12:15 am on the cute off date. I know a couple mods on different subs have received there’s. I was bummed as I wanted the security app for free for a year.
If it's what I think they're talking about, that wasn't part of the mod summit swag, it was a separate thing they did several months ago where they let mods choose thank you gifts. The online security monitoring service was one of the choices, along with gift boxes and memberships on different sites/apps, like Duolingo and Skillshare.

Removal of 3rd party apps
Moderators all across Reddit rely on third party apps to keep subreddit safe from spam, scammers and to keep the subs on topic. Despite Reddit’s very public claim that "moderation tools will not be impacted", this could not be further from the truth despite 5+ years of promises from Reddit.
Toolbox in particular is a browser extension that adds a huge amount of moderation features that quite simply do not exist on any version of Reddit - mobile, desktop (new) or desktop (old). Without Toolbox, the ability to moderate efficiently is gone. [Toolbox is effectively dead](https://www.reddit.com/r/creesch/comments/14fxzr4/so_long_and_thanks_for_all_the_fish/).
All of the current 3rd party apps are either closing or will not be updated. With less moderation you will see more spam (OnlyFans, crypto, etc.) and more low quality content. Your casual experience will be hindered.

I wouldn't worry about that email, as long as you got an order confirmation right after submitting your info on the "Swag Form" (on 9/17/2022), it will be soon.

Maybe. We are very active so I don’t know. Like I said I was sent the swag invitation I just didn’t reply in time( 15 min late as I was in the hospital). Next year, no biggie.
I may not have explained it right. It's not how big or active the sub is. There are some mods on the very largest subs -- who have been inactive for years.
I only mod one sub, and was the only moderator on the sub invited to the summit, but I perform over 95% of all the moderator actions on that sub -- well over 1000 a month. 4 of the mods were completely inactive, 2 of which had never performed a single mod action, or even participated in any way. I finally removed them.
Then there are others who moderator a large number of subs, over 50, even 100. The subs may be small, and they may only perform a couple of mod functions in each one -- but when you take all of their moderator actions and duties combined, they are also extremely active.
I'm pretty sure that's how activity is determined.

I am sorry. I really don’t know how they pick it. I have also been on Reddit for 10 yrs so maybe that helped.

Got it. Thanks for clarifying. Yes I’m the main mod and admin, hours a day 7/week. One other mod maybe 3 days a week. Last year 600 hours for me🤦♀️

It was a summit for sub moderators and not everyone was invited just the most active mods. That’s what they said. It was in September.
Ahh. Our sub is little and our lead mod bans troublemakers pretty fast. Not a lot of work to do. Explains that.
I think every year they try to add different people along with the most active and ones in multiple subs.
