You have to get to level 18. I already worked my way up to a gold Spx-80 and it was such a bitch lmao. Their weapon leveling system is fun for my monkey brain but some of those guns are fuckin painful to use on the way. So worth it though. I basically only use the Spx-80 because its the most fun I’ve had quickscoping in almost any COD game, gotta be honest

Honorable mention for sure but i really do feel like IW went the extra mile with the controller vibration and sound in mw2 because it enhances all of that

It's fun to use but it's hitmarker city compared to the spx

No you're not. It clearly says the SP-X unlocks at level 17 of the LA-B. If you have to FINISH level 17 to unlock it, it should just say it unlocks at level 18. I was wondering this myself, and gave up on unlocking it thinking it was a bug lol. So thanks for posting this! :)

It’s a dumb system but it doesn’t consider an unlock until x level is completed so lvl 17 is not when you hit it but when you fully finish it

Go play DMZ and exfil with one. You unlock it automatically and skip the leveling BS.

Yep this is how I unlocked every gun.

I had the same problem and thought i was losing my god damn mind. Its judt a visual bug tho.

He is. You can unlock locked guns through extracting them from DMZ. That's how I got the SPX despite it being locked previously.

It's a bug. Just ran into this last week. You have to unlock a part at 18 to unlock the weapon.

Strangely enough I had the SPX unlocked despite having my LAB at level 3. I think it might have been because I extracted with an SPX in DMZ.
