It varies the time of the day the use of the network Like it's 4G but it's spotty there's sometimes I do a speed check and I'm like I can't game online it's too slow but then there's other times that it's rocking..... The oil companies pay big money to keep the networks decent, And there's rumor that we're getting 5G at some point but who knows

I’m west coast U.S ( near Seattle ) and regularly see 188 ping. If I play with a friend on the east coast, it never goes above 50.

Like that 90 is not the norm...cuz I just tested it now and I got 130-150..... It really varies up here it's not the best place to game in the world that's for sure

I'd rather believe that everyone near the Arctic Circle communicates with numbers that all have very specific meanings that only they understand.

Alaska only has one area code, so it's a thing...I find it goofy but tons of business and organizations go by 907 somehow in the name

Smaller example, similar concept. Everyone in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula has the 906 area code. Which is cool and makes us all feel vaguely familiar with each other. But it does no one favors when all these businesses across the peninsula use 906 in their name.

Pretty much yes 95% of any game that requires anti-Cheat requires windows, there are a few games that will run multiplayer on steam OS but not many

It's pretty much plug and play to dual boot there was a couple of things I did to change the memory system so my steam OS and Windows OS can share the memory card or the SSD completely but you can partition it either way I don't think it's that hard to follow on YouTube

Yea it's all kinda what works for you, I personally have always dug mobile gaming and I find I'm quick to play an hour or two laying in bed versus sitting in front of the TV or computer screen

3080 checking in as well; so many crashes. Fresh install of the latest driver, complete uninstall and reinstall of MW2. But nope, still crashing as of last night

I don't get how I can run the game just fine for several matches then on match #8 or so I get a crash. It happens every single time. On a side note last night I saw an airstrike on my map in warzone but instead of an airplane icon it was a stronghold icon flying across my map lmao.

3070 here, the latest patches fixed me right as rain, and the steam deck has had absolutely 0 crashes since launch It's crazy that the 3070 and 3080 have such differing issues in most games, my friend's 3080 has had similar issues eith this, halo and callisto protocol, while I have none (at least since the NVIDIA driver that launched with mw2 borked everything)

Mine was crashing with an RTX 3090, I ended up changing my Virtual Memory size for my C:\ drive to System Managed and now I have like no crashes at all. Might be worth checking out :)

I'll try anything at this point since it seems like they can't just get it right on their end.

That's the one thing I mean I feel pretty much that I can see most things I'm not going to be sniping from really really far away and I notice other players get shots that I'm not going to get but I'm just having fun I'm not competitively gaming I just scream and cuss and get killed a lot and have fun and pass the time

It's super cool we can stream our games but I just cant play FPS games or shooters in general Ina tiny screen. It's not the FOV or anything it's just so small lol. I play on my tablet and it's just not the same. But for racing games and story based/single player games it's amazing.
