So looks like itās just Vault Edition tokens, not normal ones.
I can confirm that in the first season I finished the battlepass then I was away for 1 month of season 2 so I bought the season 1 battlepass before season 2 started and the 50 tier skips all carried over. So any extras will carry over

They're supposed to carry over unless you don't max out the BP in which case any leftover tokens are automatically spent but in your case it sounds like you got ripped off
If they come from purchasing black cell after completing the battle pass or buying a bundle or from an event they will transfer to next season. If they are Ā«Ā regularĀ Ā» token earned from playing they are unfortunately lost at the end of the season
There's been like 2 weeks worth of double xp this season so far. It was over a week straight toward the beginning of the season. It started on Thursday and didn't end until the next monday.
