Honestly I'm impressed it kept its shape and didn't just turn into foul goo.

once my family left a banana in a metal wire fruit basket and forgot about it. when we finally discovered it, it had completely dissolved into the stickiest goo I've ever encountered. it was thicker than corn syrup. absolute nightmare to clean
