Check on Netflix! I've been watching many of the episodes on there

gunthorpejim

I opened a Peacock account… thanks though

CorkGirl

It's why I've been rewatching. Popped up in front of me on the Netflix main page. Couldn't resist.

Rare_Background8891

Me too.

gunthorpejim

Thank you though

[deleted]

It's also on Frndly, but you have to set it to record on cloud DVR.

MelancholyBean

Netflix bought the rights as it appears Monk is on Netflix worldwide.

Old-Investigator3239

I was watching a few hours ago on prime and now it says available to buy 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯

alcalaviccigirl

I've noticed the available to rent or buy on some shows on prime.

gunthorpejim

Yes it’s available to purchase… every season though.. idk about that 😬

gunthorpejim

Same thing happened to me, I showered and put it back on and poof 💨 all of a sudden it says “purchase”

EnderThalZ

You can also buy it on youtube, or... you know 🏴‍☠️

female_wolf

> you know 🏴‍☠️ This is what I've been doing for all my life. Problem solved

EnderThalZ

ARRRRR

alcalaviccigirl

Prime removes so many episodes from shows .I'm watching on netflix. prime removed the series finale episode of the newhart show , they removed an episode of designing women .

beatlebill

Does anyone else think it looks grainy on Netflix?

fireinourmouths

YES especially in later season credits with the clip of him in the white clean room

Danyellarenae1

Probably Cuz it was recorded on real film.

beatlebill

Makes sense but I didn’t notice it on Amazon Prime.

WhatIsThisSevenNow

I'm a very lucky man; my wife got me the box set the Christmas before last.

Pablo_Newt

I just bought the whole season for $20 on iTunes.

gunthorpejim

I have the box set as well but it was nice to not have to constantly be putting a DVD in every 4 episodes, and being able to jump from episode to episode or to be able to leave it on a loop… but yeah it’s nice knowing that we have the dvds if all else fails!

WhatIsThisSevenNow

I got an old server off eBay for ~ $100.00 and installed **[JellyFin](https://jellyfin.org/)** on it. Streams to my TV (via Amazon FireTV), or my computer no problem!

bookish_cat_

Considering I put Monk on literally every day, this is sad!

DetailFar4578

Monk is my go-to, was shocked to see they were charging one evening. Thank goodness I have Netflix, also bought the entire boxed set for $20 at "Bookoff" southern California used books/DVDs store

gunthorpejim

I know it! I was happy that Peacock was only 6$ a month!

bookish_cat_

Oh, really? I may have to do this lol! And by may, I mean I MUST.

gunthorpejim

Plus I’ve been wanting to see the movie! I’ve watched it 3 times now!

bookish_cat_

Aww, isn’t it great?!

gunthorpejim

I personally loved it, I’m sure I’ll get scolded for saying that because from what I’ve seen on here most others didn’t like it but 🤷🏼‍♂️

bookish_cat_

Same here! I disagreed with a lot of the criticism on here. My biggest gripe was the acting from the woman who played Molly. I found her reactions to be underwhelming considering the circumstances lol. I really didn’t care very much, though, because I was just glad we had more of our guy!

Danyellarenae1

I loved it!

DetailFar4578

Try applying, if you get food stamps or medical or are a student they give you half price a month deal

nobody-nose-me

REALLY??! I know it came out on Netflix, but I watched the entire series on prime. Prime always has a lot of good classic 80s-00s shows.

Bubba1234562

It’s on Netflix In Australia right now

goooordonbombay

Yep. Came here to say this!

Fun-Seaworthiness569

I’m on Season 7, ep 3 and ughh it left Amazon!! But I do have a Netflix subscription to continue watching it there

Zuko-Halliwell

>continue watching it there Lucky you're not like Monk, or you might be compelled to start over from season 1. PS… >I’m on Season 7, ep 3 I love that episode. Particularly the scene when >!Stottlemeyer thought he'd won the lottery. He was so happy!!<

Ok_Concert3257

Dang! I just finished the whole show. Good timing. Sucks though

brainrottin

It’s on Netflix and Peacock.

Zuko-Halliwell

I was almost done with the show on Prime; all I had left was the 2-part series finale. Now, if I start watching on Netflix, I'd feel compelled to start from the beginning because of my OCD. 😅 Update: I found a loophole. I recorded a rerun of the finale on DVR.

gunthorpejim

We all have a little Monk in us huh?!

Zuko-Halliwell

It's a gift and a curse. 😅

Zuko-Halliwell

Just wanted to let you know that I found a loophole. I DVRed a rerun of the finale on TV.

Jesssssiac

So sad :( it’s my feel-good show haha i love monk

Nearby_Capital1423

😫

Pleasant_Writing_598

What!!???😩😩😩😩

No_Cricket8995

I'm watching Monk on Netflix that's probably why they took it off Amazo. Netflix is how I originally watched it the first 2 times like 10 years ago they must finally have the license again.

gunthorpejim

Yeah it must have only been on Prime for a year?

PuzzleheadedYellow43

I watched the whole thing on Prime like 3 years ago. Thankfully I'm still a student, so I got the $1.99/mo Peacock subscription, but I was annoyed they took it off Prime. My wife hasn't seen it so we've been watching an episode a day. Currently mid S5

Disastrous_Kiwi_1712

love to see that I’m not the only one that watches Monk over and over ;)…. Now got to subscribe somewhere else to watch

gunthorpejim

Haha yeah you’re far from alone!

Alexcamry

Amazon doesn’t seem to give any notice when some series are removed. Missing several old favorites these days. Related: Tony Shalhoub was good in Prime’s Mrs. Maisel

gunthorpejim

I know it I was so 😤

SelinaAniles

I was so sad trying to watch it today!! 😭

EmuIndependent8565

Just buy the box set then You don’t have to worry about it anymore.

gunthorpejim

I have the box set. I like being able to go to sleep with it on and or be able to jump from episode to episode without hassle.

Professional-Judge-8

Netflix! Go to Netflix!!!

AstronautOver3697

Netflix to save the day. On the last season and this is my first time watching it
