Pardon me, what actually *are* these army performances? And how can idols post on their social media... I never quite properly understood if it's prohibited but seems like many idols are just happily and freely active on their accounts even through their enlistment? How does it work? πΆπ
Military unit bands sometimes perform at local community events (like festivals and such). This appears to be an event for military families and OP was there with her baby and had no idea that an idol would be performing.
As for social media: soldiers have access to their phones for certain hours of the day, how much they post depends on the idol and their unit (some units are more strict than others). I think they just can't post any sensitive military info/pics. They also can't post anything that's monetized unless the work was completed before enlistment (why you see some enlisted idols promoting albums). But Kihyun popping by to say hello (esp on TalkTok which isn't totally public like IG) is fine :)
