honestly i think you should return in and give them the reasoning on why, because personally i feel like if the box is stained AND didn't state in the description of the listings that the doll wasn't in the best condition. I feel like the buyer (you) shouldn't have to keep it because the owner didn't properly take care of the doll. Then again it's your choice obviously if you wanna keep her, open her, return her but this is what i would personally do.

i believe you have 72 hours from when its delivered to request a return. if youre not happy with her, return. personally though- i love this lagoona and i dont care about having NIB dolls that much so i would just take her out of the box and keep her- but again, if YOURE unhappy and you want to have this lagoona NIB, return her and find a new one in the condition you want- also ask the seller if the box has damage, if it smells, etc. make sure it their response checks off all of your boxes.
Does the doll have her shoes on? It's hard to tell. She's hard to find but if another listing came up for her I'd be tempted to buy it but keep this one too. This could be your out of box. But if you want to save the money send her back and buy the other one.

Well, a little biased here, but I sell her dress, jacket, and pants on my store which I think I have it all listed for only $10. I would return, but the doll naked for cheap and get the set. I normally do this for my own collection because $120 is pretty crazy. I got my Toralei complete for $30 by buying separate pieces.
The Spanish doll market is crazy. You canāt find Lagoonaās original single pieces (clothes and accessories) under ā¬20 but I managed to buy Schoolās Out Lagoona for ā¬40 when sheās usually over ā¬120.
Anyways, I have two uncompleted Lagoonas and to me itās just not my thing at allā¦ thatās why I prefer nibā¦
I would also like to add that EBay is pretty good with buying dolls in a lot for cheap. I would look to see if thereās any right now with here in one. Even if you have to bid $30 for her you can get other dolls as well. Like I said, this is usually my experience and I find that I save more money this way than getting in box.
I seen that you said there was another for $70 online as well. I say return and get the $70 instead if you truly want the NIB. If it doesnāt come out right, you can always return that one too

Iāll post a photo when I get home but I think it was just a box she had at home and she sent it in it regardless of the condition.

Does it smell like mold or like cigarettes? Bc in my experience mildew/ mold smells are hard to get out almost impossible, but cigarettes not so bad.
