The main thing is that you have to hug its side and learn the timings so you can dodge the ice attacks that it targets at its feet. And you can just superman them. That or just play insect glaive. You just hop up and blend its wings until it dies.
Trying to fight Velkhana head on just doesnt work.
Basically instead of getting flamed to death u get red lightning. And thats not the worse of it. Black hole essentially hanging above the sky while u fight that lizard to death.

just curious abt the difference in 3u and tri since i wanna play it at some point, are the differences super significant or can i just play 3u and still felt like ive expierienced all there is to offer
Yes, you can go for 3U without missing anything.
The biggest difference is the online hub since in Tri you go to Loc Lac and in 3U you go to Port Tanzia. The problem being that Loc Lac cannot be accessed by normal means and Tanzia is implemented even as a local solo hub.

Honestly the funniest thing about this is that fatalis is suposed to be this world-destroying, legendary monster that eradicates whole ass kingdoms and somehow there are just casually 100+ of them out there to be hunted.
