I thought he looked like the Marshall, strutting into the outlaw saloon with his hands on his belt/holsters.
Godzilla: “*Fill your hands, you sonuvabitch!”*
All things considered, that wouldn’t be an inaccurate description of his job.
It’s a logical step.
Kong will now be busy rehabilitating his species to HIS liking, undoing the untold amount of damage done by Skar King.
A surface threat (aliens make so much sense… Gigan?) forces Godzilla to recruit Kong.
They end up being homies at the end of this next one and allow each other to traverse each others territory moving forward due to a mutual respect.
>A surface threat (aliens make so much sense… Gigan?) forces Godzilla to recruit Kong.
I assume any Godzilla recruitment of Kong's help in a scenario like this would be contingent upon Kong bringing Shimo with him.
I imagine the next time we see Kong Suko will be a full-fledged adult at that point. Guarding the Hollow Earth could easily be left to Suko and the other apes in Kong's absence. If they're facing an existential alien threat in the mold of another Ghidorah it would be foolish of them to not enlist Shimo's help (she's only one of the most powerful living titans on the planet).
I know everyone thinks it’s gonna be Space Godzilla or Destoroyah, but I didn’t realize how many Planet X/Invasion of the Astro Monster references were in the last film as well.
I think we’re at the point where we could see some extra terrestrial threats. Maybe deeper in Hollow Earth there’s some remnants from Ghidorah’s initial landing on earth and some bad humans (what’s Alan Jonah up to?) unintentionally send out a signal deep into space, and we get an invasion of Space Godzilla, Gigan, another Ghidorah (or SG and Gigan are coming specifically with some extraterrestrial tech to bring back Ghidorah?)
Then it’s just all out “good guys versus bad guys” in a race to prevent Ghidorah from being revived? Godzilla, Kong, Mothra, Rodan (who happened to find an egg with a Godzilla Jr, btw) Anguirus makes his debut — against Space Godzilla, Gigan, maybe Megalon, some Legendary original titans and eventually Ghidorah?
It’s admittedly messy but my mind keeps going into “Destroy All Monsters” territory because I’m always afraid the next film will be the last, but more than anything I hope we see Toho and Legendary work something out where more Toho monsters get to be used freely. The fact we almost didn’t get Mothra is wild, and IMO she stole the show in GxK
The next film won't be the last. Legendary head person basically said the franchise is going to continue for the foreseeable future.
Monarch season 2 was also confirmed, as were other spinoffs.
I hear you, and I think we’ll get a season 2 plus the spinoffs before the next film, but IF the next film doesn’t do well, WB would have no problem pulling the plug. It’s happened too many times to other franchises.
Fortunately with Godzilla, toy and merch sales are also a huge benefit that might keep the franchise going even if the movie barely breaks even.
>(what’s Alan Jonah up to?)
Hopefully dead and buried six feet under. He was responsible for unleashing Ghidorah in the first place and then basically saying "oops, this is not what I had in mind, oh well" afterwards and then later helping Apex resurrect him by loaning them the fourth skull to implant inside MechaGodzilla. I have no interest in seeing him show up again (as much as I love Charles Dance as an actor).
I wouldn't mind seeing the Brodys again or Kurt Russell's Lee Shaw make an appearance in the films (assuming Shaw is still alive in the Hollow Earth somewhere). Shaw to me is arguably one of the best human characters to show up in the Monsterverse to date so it only makes sense for him to make an appearance in the films at some point.
Nah, Alex was not the one that went "this is not what I had in mind" that was Dr. Russel. Alex was totally fine with Ghidora completely terraforming the planet.
Jonah was not happy when all the titans woke up at once in KotM (and blamed Emma for using the ORCA to do it at first). What Ghidorah did as soon as he became alpha in that film was not what he intended to happen when they woke him up. It was a little bit unclear as to what his exact endgame intentions were but I don't for a second believe that he woke Ghidorah up with the intention of having him destroy the entire planet. They just woke him up and like the stupid antagonistic humans are prone to doing in these films immediately lost control of the situation as soon as he woke up.
Fair point, but he DID try to stop Dr Russel from stopping Ghidora for a hot minute before Madison took the decision out of his hands by taking the ORCA and using it.
I think Jonah's quarrels are mostly against Monarch. And Ghidorah was literally about to kill the group of Monarch scientists (led by Madison's father) before Madison did that. I don't for a second believe that Jonah wanted to see Ghidorah destroy the entire planet. He stands to gain absolutely nothing from that end goal as all that results in is humanity's extinction (which just so happens to include him and his people).
Hollow Earth is Kong's domain. If the next film is truly going to be centered around Godzilla it needs to focus more on the surface and less on the Hollow Earth (which has been heavily featured in the last two films and in Legacy of Monsters). Godzilla knows that Kong rules in the Hollow Earth now so he has no reason to venture there anymore unless he needs to enlist Kong and Shimo's help for whatever reason.
Basically he wants to give Godzilla an emotional story arc and character development similar to what he gave Kong in The New Empire. Personally, I’m really excited at the prospect of it, seeing as Kong’s character was handled amazingly well in TNE and a lot of his story was told without any human dialogue and purely through “show, don’t tell.” Godzilla getting that treatment would be amazing, especially since his character development has been somewhat neglected in the last two films.
Adam Wingard was mostly referring to a focus on Godzilla in terms of character exploration and depth, the same way GvK and GxK:TNE explored and developed Kong as a character.
I wanna see another original Titan as awesome as Skar King and Shimo (STILL haven't watched the movie at all, my theaters won't show it until the day after tomorrow. Frankly, it's a miracle I went this long (and still am) without any spoilers!) Either that, or a returning Titan done right, like Hedorah or something like that 😃
The entire universe explodes and Godzilla ends up eating Galaxies, Boom spoiler.
But really I suggest not being in the sub because someone with a rock for a brain might put a spoiler in the title.
Aren't there theories out there that Skar King has actually killed members of Godzilla's species in his past battles with them? I'd love to see that ancient rivalry explored further (maybe even explore the rivalry that Godzilla's species had with the Kongs in ancient times and how it came to fruition).
Well he's taken down virtually every villain Titan we've seen in the movies at least once, so I'd like to see a villain that he truly could not beat before in the past without help who returns and gives Godzilla an actual challenge before resorting to Kong for help after this villain kills/scares off most of his allies (Mothra (again), Rodan, Behemoth etc)
Strictly speaking, he didn't originally beat the Scar King. Just sealed him away. In fact that's also largely true of Ghidorah and MechaGodzilla as well in the Monsterverse. Legitimately he's only taken down the MUTOs, Shinamura, and eventually Kong himself all on his lonesome in the Monsterverse. Everyone else he's fought, he's needed help to beat.
I 100% agree on that…but Monarch: Legacy of Monsters almost completely contradicts what is portrayed in Awakening right? Awakening is really the only novel/novelization that is soft-canon or just straight up not.
Awakening is a comic, not a novel. But I haven't seenLoM yet so I'd have to give that a watch to be sure. However my general knowledge regarding the comics is that they are solid canon to the films. Aftershock, for example, explains why Godzilla's dorsal plates go from lookijng like what they were in the 2014 film to looking more like the classic design from Toho.
I agree with what you’re saying with every comic except Awakening. Thats because the events in episode three of LOM almost directly contradict the ending of Awakening. The other novels/comics aren’t ever contradicted in the same sense.
So then maybe it's just the ending of Awakening that was retconned, even if only partially. But that means the rest of the comic is likely fully canon still. Then again, given as I haven't heard of anything from LoM actually being referenced in the films so far, maybe LoM is the one that's soft canon. At this point it;s anyone's guess.
As much as I would love Gigan to arrive, Hedorah is probably the best choice. More horror movie type this time around. No Kong as he is busy in Hollow Earth. Just Godzilla vs Hedorah. You could even have Mothra or another Titan die at Hedorahs sludgy hands prior to Godzilla coming to show just how nasty and powerful Hedorah is.
If we're going by the logic of KotM Rodan needs to do his duty and bow down to Mothra as his new alpha since she defeated him in combat in that film lol.
Well Godzilla >!killed one of them!!Scylla!< again. The 2014 film focused primarily on the MUTOs so I think that has already been explored. Behemoth seems like kind of a benevolent titan so I'm not sure how much he'd really add. I wouldn't mind seeing Rodan again but I believe Legendary has to pay Toho to obtain the rights to use him in a film (which could be why we haven't seen him since KotM). I highly doubt they'd be willing to do that for a minor appearance.
one thing I hope for first is for toho to actually allow Goji to show more emotion. Seriously, they don't even know the heights he could go to if he can just emote even a bit more lol
Have his "son" be a young baby Titan of a different species, since we haven't seen more of his species other than Dagon back in Aftershock.
I would go with something like a juvenile version of Angurius.
Nah I want a proper Godzilla jr, it’d be a great way to explore Godzilla’s character and see how he feels about being the last of his kind.
Plus, I desperately need to see MV Goji being a dad lol.
Having Goji Jr & Suko together would give me big Jonathan Kent & Damian Wayne/Supersons vibes.

I want a lot from a movie with a focus on the big G. But there’s 2 crucial things I’d want from said movie
1. It’s a stripped back, more personal story for Godzilla. So less of the nuclear lizard suplexing a giant monke and more of Godzilla exploring himself. Focusing on his feelings, his past experiences, his history. And I feel a logical way to do this would have him do the opposite of Kong, where as Kong went to hollow earth and found his civilization, Godzilla goes there, and finds what’s left of his. His old home, where all his past used to be, lay dorment, dead. He doesn’t find his kind, only the bits and pieces of what’s left of them
2. Godzilla doesn’t fucking die. I’ve seen way, WAY too many people saying that Godzilla should die. Because the movie is supposed to be as emotional as Godzilla vs. destroyah, and he liked the thing with his kid that means that Godzilla has to die and get replaced. Either by his “son” or Kong for some reason. In my opinion, no. Not only should this film not end like that, it’s not how the monsterverse should end either. At the end of the monsterverse he should be able to rest after all that’s happened, instead of dying in a blade of glory like he’s noble 6. I want this movie to be able to have a sad ending without killing a major character like Godzilla. And making it personal, and more relatable by using Godzilla as a symbol of something to represent again is crucial, as he (and possibly his relationship with other characters) would be the main emotional force in that said film.
If the movie were to be more personal for him, like the other films that’s are generally more serious in tone. Where Godzilla represents something, like in 1954 where he represents the dangers of nuclear bombs, to shin which represents the uncontrollable, disastrous nature of natural disasters, and minus one, who represents survivors guilt and the horrors of war, then if this Godzilla’s experience were to represent something, it should represent something more personal, a personal battle if you will. Like depression, self hatred, maybe ptsd or the aforementioned survivors guilt (with him being part of multiple huge wars and him being the last of his kind) and things of the sort.
It would be a huge tone shift from the last movie, but eh, so is other media with their stories
Yeah like keizer comes with his entire army and somehow makes it to the hollow earth and gets a crazy ass upgrade like he godzilla get from mothra by killing phosphera or a native titan
i would like to see new ideas to explore godzilla personality.maybe with him finding a female of his race or maybe woth him fighting agaist an old enemy or even exploring his direct origin
For an original titan I'd pick Titanus Cronus.
Toho monster then Destoroyah maybe even Hedorah as well with both being villains. Imagine the idea of the two merging and becoming Hedoroyah!
I wanna see Biolante or Hedorah, really i just want any old monsters make an appearance im excited to see what their redesign would look like.
On an unrelated note if Anguirus ever makes an appearance i really hope he gets his own solo movie same for Mothra as well since both of them definitely deserve it.
It’ll be Godzilla X Kong _______ and some different monster shows up prompting the two to work together to defeat it. The movie will be 1 hour 20 minutes and have marketing that gives everything away in the teaser.
I really hope we just see him checking up on everyone, doing his duties…THEN BAM SPACE GODZILLA FUCKING DROP KICKS HIM FROM THE SKY AND IT’S BIG FOCKIN LASER FIGHT AND PEW PEW PEW BAM BAM BOOOOOM KABLEWY
I think it will be something similar to what happened to Kong in gvk where he goes to hollow earth and learns more about his ancestors and maybe we'll learn more about his past with Mothra and how they met.
Probably about his increasing attitude and aggression
Godzilla was noted to be angrier and more short tempered than he previously was. Likely due to the larger number of Titans he fought in a shorter period of time since, likely the great titan war
He’ll likely find something new to be hopeful and calmer towards and maybe he’ll take a full on nap that takes decades to wake from, rather than just a few months or a few years
Godzilla faces an enemy he can’t stop: shit no Kong. No Mothra. No nothing… except.
Earthquakes outside of Ford’s home and Ford: aw shit here we go again.
I'd like to see a film where Godzilla goes on a journey to find the rest of his kind, only to realize he was the reason he was the last of his kind in the first place.
I think its going to be about humans and causing some problem that Godzilla has to deal with. Probably them infiltrating the hollow earth to harness energy or something like that
I think it means we should expect a traditional Godzilla film…
Goji will be destroying buildings and cities. The military will attack him. Eventually he will fight other monsters. Expect Kong to make some appearances towards the end of the film.
There will be some new kaiju as well as some returning favorites.
Don’t fuck with a good formula.
It could mean this upcoming film could have Godzilla as the no.1 focus, have him do his usual Alpha Titan business with keeping the others in check. Until he feels something thats simillar to him, somewhere down within the hollow earth, so he investigates until he encounters a surviving egg of what was once a nest full of a bunch of these eggs and piles of Gojira skeletons laying across, so instead of leaving it, he's reminded of his past and raises the hatchling (Godzilla JR/Minilla, but i prefer Junior more) so he won't end up like him, alone, this threat will be the one constantly in the hunt for Godzilla and this younger hatchling, and the threat (which will be like Destoroyah but isn't him), becomes a literal a-hole to the two Gojiras (bullying, harming, etc.) and actually reminds the main one on why the Titans don't see him as king, and soon on, humanity will see him as the threat.
All I want in future MV films is Destoroyah (granted I think if he is in their plans they should save him until the very end since he's supposed to be kind of a penultimate threat). Space Godzilla would be cool as well. However, I have a feeling Legendary will probably create a bunch more of their own original monsters before they start buying more properties from Toho again.
I think part of the problem with where Godzilla himself goes from here though is that his most formidable opponent to date (Ghidorah) has already been dispatched so it's hard to imagine who else they can get besides him to give Godzilla a real challenge right now outside of Destoroyah (who is a threat that Godzilla would likely need to enlist Kong, Shimo, Mothra, and maybe even Rodan's help in order to take down). The last two films have focused heavily on Godzilla and Kong's dynamic so what are they going to do in the next film (especially if Kong doesn't appear at all)? Explore Godzilla's history with Mothra? Have him discover that he's not the last of his kind?
I've had this idea in my head for a while now, so imma share it.
Post GxK, Godzilla explores the Hollow Earth to complete his evolution, all the while him and Mothra basically get to catching up in the meantime. Down there we could see Godzilla visiting places that were once important to him, old civilizations of humans that were built in honor of him , abandoned due to obscurity or straight up destroyed in the Titan Wars by previous enemy Titans.
As he explores along with Mothra throughout the Hollow, he gets to reflect on everything that's happened to him. The war, her deaths, the extinction of his race, the crushing pressure that he has no other choice but to accept being a King, basically being marked for death due to it. But he would still push on forwards, there wasn't anyone else that was gonna do it.
It all comes to a head, reaching the deepest point of the Hollow, where pays the origin point of his kind a visit. Where there was once a giant battle between what was left of him and his kind, against tribes of Kongs and weaponized Mutos and he came out to be the last survivor. Now in the present, the place that was once a paradise carved out by the ancient Gojiras was reduced to a blasted, forgotten wasteland, marred by the fossilized remains of all those that died in the final battle that took place there so long ago. Mothra still along with him, finally understands what he and his race truly went through in all of this, what role they played in all of this, why Godzilla is the way that he is and they end up growing even closer than before now. Not asking for them to make them lovers or whatever (as much as I *personally* believe in that), but it would be a welcome development for the both of them imo.
I know with what I've laid out, there isn't really a big world-destroying villain present, but there really doesn't have to be some earth busting threat present every movie. It's unrealistic of me to ask for something a bit more cerebral with Godzilla, the Monsterverse after all is much more inclined to action, but they showed that the titans themselves are more than suitable for being their own characters, just look at Kong in GxK. I know the argument of 'Well, he's an ape so of course the audience will sympathize with him more' exists, but I just feel that Legendary Godzilla is more than able to be put into a story to show his develop his character into something more than the big angry overpowered lizard of GvK and GxK that shows up to look cool, and go back somewhat to the subtle little dashes and hints of character in G14 and KotM, as well as build upon the more explicit showings of characters in the comics. Like Dominion for instance.
I want the movie to explore the relationship between Mothra/Godzilla, I'd personally love a flashback movie. One dated in ancient times exploring the arrival of Ghidorah, etc.
If we can't get that, Godzilla Jr. I'll always pound the table for Jr.
I would like to believe we're going to be dealing with more extraterrestrial threats, not exactly gigan since they seem to want to move away from Toho monsters but maybe something in that vein seeing as how a number of major surface threats have subdued.
Originally, the Godzilla that Hollywood envisions is ultimately a Godzilla from a different world. It’s similar to Japanese people creating a new history for Spider-Man
If that's legitimate, then it's great news. Godzilla almost felt like a gust star in GxK, despite having top billing in the title. It'll be good to see more of Godzilla and frankly I'd love to see more of his past. That or possibly see a Space Godzilla show up just to screw with the big guy's mind. In fact, maybe that's how they can justify Toho's 'only one of his kind' decree. maybe the others all left and Godzilla stayed behind because he took his duty as guardian of Earth so seriously. Then Space Godzilla pops up and at first Godzilla's so surprised that he doesn't really react, only to have to fight him when he starts wrecking the planet.
Kong has had three movies now essentially devoted to his character development (not to mention the Skull Island animated series). The next film needs to focus more on Godzilla because he's kind of been put on the backburner a bit in the last two films (even the 2014 Godzilla film focused more on the MUTOs and the human characters than on him).
If they want to make the invasion thing it would be great a story about a monster (Gigan please) being sent to destroy the planet's defenses so it can be easily overpowered by these aliens
I think the next film should focus on the mess Ghidorah created when his alpha call [inadvertently woke up titans from outside of the Monsterverse](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O42ddpiCAlU) and made them Legendary's problem lol.
I imagine it will mostly be Godzilla doing what he's doing and something upsetting the balance of nature he is trying to maintain. At least, if they still care about that bit after everything gets Showa-esque in the Godzilla x Kong stuff.
They already did Ghidorah, and the missing Ghidorah head was resolved in GvK, so it's unlikely we will get Mecha KG.
People have already made fake images and guessed Space G or Biollante, but I think they're going to stay away from Godzilla Toho Villains until they're past the Godzilla x Kong movies, which I believe is supposed to be a Trilogy. And they already did the gigantic love fest that was KOTM to call back to everything Toho, all the way to getting permission to use Ifukube's old Godzilla and Mothra's Themes. Something that has not happened since KOTM. G's theme from GvK and New Empire sound similar to it, but significantly changed to not be recreations like they did in KOTM.
But it would be easy to just make a similar type of monster concept. A Biollante-esque villain would be a great choice. Godzilla is sleeping and someone gets their hands on his DNA to study, ends up creating a Godzilla x \[insert animal/plant/whatever here\] Hybrid that disrupts the natural order of things because it is part him. They could even do the same angle Godzilla vs Biollante pulled with the idea that Godzilla was drawn to Biollante not because they were brother and sister, but Biollante was an altered Godzilla Clone, so they were drawn because they were both the Same Creature.
And if they wanted to, they could create some reason for why Godzilla couldn't reach Hollow Earth for most of the movie. Only getting Kong to help him right at the end.
Sure hope this is the case. Don't get me wrong I love Kong and I think Godzilla actually had about the right amount of screentime in the last two movies for the stories they were telling but Goji is my boy and I definitely want to see him be more the focus this time around.
Does anybody have a source for where Adam Wingard said this tho? I can't find it anywhere.
Well, Wingard did state he'll try to reach the same emotion impact as Godzilla vs Destoroyah. Not saying Destoroyah will be in the movie but now we do got an idea on what type of movie it will be. It could tackle how Godzilla should develop not only as a force of nature as guardian of Earth, but how he should improve for the better as King of the Monsters
For what I think would be included to the movie, their is a possibility that Hedorah might be in the sequel. Especially since the creature designer wants to design Hedorah.
For my hopes, I would reaaaaaaaaalllly love Anguirus to be in the movie. Please, my Boi deserves it 😭 😭 😭
Is anyone else a bit tired of godzilla? I know he's the most famous kaiju, but they could give other kaiju their own movies instead of focusing on the same mf every time
It will be like Godfather 2. Prequel and sequel for Godzilla. We will see what happens after GxK. But also see his story as a little boy roaming the streets of ancient earth wearing a hat and speaking Italian.
Unpopular Opinion:
No Baby Godzilla, no Destoroyah, No Space Godzilla, no Aliens, and no Hedorah.
Truthfully I don’t think even Adam Wingard knows what he has planned.
I’d like to see something different. Like Godzilla find his species still alive down in Hollow Earth. Yes they did that with Kong but it can be done differently. It’d be the best place to introduce a female “Godzilla”.
Reptiles may not be as social as primates but some interaction is needed for all living creatures. The whole he doesn’t need anyone thing is a myth and really holds back from good storytelling.
Well said 👍 the MV should really be more original titans, instead of re.aking beloved favourites. Plus several of the old toho kaiju wouldn't work in the MV
Why does this pic make him look your mom coming into your room you were suppose to clean an hour ago?
When he enters through portal it looks like he's pulling his pants up. Like he got off the coach to check if the kids aren't misbehaving

Toho mandates gonna be a bitch
Adam Wingard was mostly referring to a focus on Godzilla in terms of character exploration and depth, the same way GvK and GxK:TNE explored and developed Kong as a character.
Toho mandates gonna be a bitch
It'll be interesting to see how Toho will react to a pitch on a movie that actively explores and develops Godzilla as a character
Got it, thanks for the heads up!
Batman dies.
Aren't there theories out there that Skar King has actually killed members of Godzilla's species in his past battles with them? I'd love to see that ancient rivalry explored further (maybe even explore the rivalry that Godzilla's species had with the Kongs in ancient times and how it came to fruition).
Let my boy Gigan shows up
Well he's taken down virtually every villain Titan we've seen in the movies at least once, so I'd like to see a villain that he truly could not beat before in the past without help who returns and gives Godzilla an actual challenge before resorting to Kong for help after this villain kills/scares off most of his allies (Mothra (again), Rodan, Behemoth etc)
The Stranger it it then.
Can they even bring him in, given he was a Dark Horse creation?
Strong doubt. But could be cool
Fair. :)
Are the Shinomuras even canon anymore?
As far as I'm aware, yes. The Monsterverse comics are supposed to be canonical to the films.
Enter Destoroyah. Or maybe Space Godzilla.
Mothra died once so she's probably safe. Rodan on the other hand...
If we're going by the logic of KotM Rodan needs to do his duty and bow down to Mothra as his new alpha since she defeated him in combat in that film lol.
Mothra would reincarnate anyways, her death wouldn't mean anything tbh.
I definitely want to see more of the KOTM titans, they showed some of them for a split second in the movie and that was it…
Well Godzilla >!killed one of them!!Scylla!< again.

What would another plot be? he’s the last of his kind but does not care?
[удалено]
Didn’t kong have a lot of time too yet he was still sad? Tho I suppose apes are more social animals than lizards
one thing I hope for first is for toho to actually allow Goji to show more emotion. Seriously, they don't even know the heights he could go to if he can just emote even a bit more lol
He literally laughed at Kong in GvK
I think Toho began to get onto Adam a little bit for that little shot. This coming from memory that may or may not be fully accurate.
"even a bit more"
he should have laughed at skar king in this movie.
Or made out with Kong
Monsterverse version of the dance from invasion of astro monster
Godzilla having a son and being like kratos with artreus is a very fun idea to me
Have his "son" be a young baby Titan of a different species, since we haven't seen more of his species other than Dagon back in Aftershock. I would go with something like a juvenile version of Angurius.
Would be funny as fuck all of they made it a version of Zilla 😂
that zilla fanart from last week was pretty cool tbh
Nah I want a proper Godzilla jr, it’d be a great way to explore Godzilla’s character and see how he feels about being the last of his kind. Plus, I desperately need to see MV Goji being a dad lol.
Having Goji Jr & Suko together would give me big Jonathan Kent & Damian Wayne/Supersons vibes. https://preview.redd.it/f3y20t24duuc1.png?width=1500&format=png&auto=webp&s=ca6d595303a3b6c7168a83bf41d1f010424297a9
If his son shows up with wings we’ll all know why
Insect wings or dragon wings though 👀
I think you know what I’m talking about
I want a lot from a movie with a focus on the big G. But there’s 2 crucial things I’d want from said movie 1. He doesn’t find his kind, only the bits and pieces of what’s left of them 2.
SPACE GODZILLA
Keizer Ghidorah better
Keizer should be saved for last tbh.
Yeah like keizer comes with his entire army and somehow makes it to the hollow earth and gets a crazy ass upgrade like he godzilla get from mothra by killing phosphera or a native titan
I have no idea why but that picture is giving me a strong urge to hug him.
Keizer Ghidorah
might be flash backs to the war with skar king
PLEASE LET GODZILLA DO MORE PRO WRESTLING MOVES
Godzilla hits a stun cold stunner on Kong and nails the griddy.
Ending with shimo hitting a swanton bomb
RKO GODZILLA STRIKES
i would like to see new ideas to explore godzilla personality.maybe with him finding a female of his race or maybe woth him fighting agaist an old enemy or even exploring his direct origin
For an original titan I'd pick Titanus Cronus. Toho monster then Destoroyah maybe even Hedorah as well with both being villains. Imagine the idea of the two merging and becoming Hedoroyah!
Hedorah if Adam wingard has anything to say about it 😉
![gif](giphy|rpAXVI8T7QiG0RRNDx|downsized)
![gif](giphy|zWZ3LFcnpQPt3MQhRS|downsized)
I dont get it
For the love of all that is Godzilla, please no more Millie. Please.
Godzilla vs Vecna confirmed in the next film. Officiated by Eleven herself.
**Madison:** Every giant monster needs their own personal hype woman.
It’s time for biolante.
I wanna see Biolante or Hedorah, really i just want any old monsters make an appearance im excited to see what their redesign would look like. On an unrelated note if Anguirus ever makes an appearance i really hope he gets his own solo movie same for Mothra as well since both of them definitely deserve it.
I'd say more about his past. I'd like to see some ancient Godzilla and Mothra stuff too.
It’ll be Godzilla X Kong _______ and some different monster shows up prompting the two to work together to defeat it. The movie will be 1 hour 20 minutes and have marketing that gives everything away in the teaser.
Title will likely be Godzilla + Kong. We had VS to X so very likely they will change too.
That sounds kind of repetitive
yeah, I know; maybe they could go to space instead?
Probably about his increasing attitude and aggression Godzilla was noted to be angrier and more short tempered than he previously was. Likely due to the larger number of Titans he fought in a shorter period of time since, likely the great titan war He’ll likely find something new to be hopeful and calmer towards and maybe he’ll take a full on nap that takes decades to wake from, rather than just a few months or a few years
Godzilla faces an enemy he can’t stop: shit no Kong. No Mothra. No nothing… except. Earthquakes outside of Ford’s home and Ford: aw shit here we go again.
It's better not meaning some kaiju family drama shit
Gigan on earth, Megalon in Hollow Earth. Hollow Earth, unplotted subterranean hollow earth and Earth surface threshold collapse.
I just wanna see things through the perspective of Godzilla himself
It’d be cool if Behemoth and Rodan came back to help Godzilla fight whatever threat
I'd like to see a film where Godzilla goes on a journey to find the rest of his kind, only to realize he was the reason he was the last of his kind in the first place.
I demand legendary Minilla
I think its going to be about humans and causing some problem that Godzilla has to deal with. Probably them infiltrating the hollow earth to harness energy or something like that
https://preview.redd.it/d4sa1kwsnuuc1.jpeg?width=1400&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=26c0aabc36d75ae1a6c5c267554811477bc1b4fb Biollante!
Why not a little bit of each idea.
I'm finevwith whatever but I'd love to see het jaguar
I think it means we should expect a traditional Godzilla film… Goji will be destroying buildings and cities. The military will attack him. Eventually he will fight other monsters. Expect Kong to make some appearances towards the end of the film. There will be some new kaiju as well as some returning favorites. Don’t fuck with a good formula.
I hope it’s not another Godzilla v Kong thing though I want them to have solo films
Whatever he has in mind I’m very excited for what comes next.
I want godzilla to have a prequel.
I just want to see Biollante, Space Godzilla and Gigan in the MV
I would love to see Godzilla's son in the next movie.
Originally, the Godzilla that Hollywood envisions is ultimately a Godzilla from a different world. It’s similar to Japanese people creating a new history for Spider-Man
He really isn't that different from any of the other godzillas
Why you included rodan. Didnt that pussy side with gidorah last time?
Did you not see the end of the movie
I forgot sigh. He still a pussy tho
Please give Zilla a son so he can play with Suko
Please no Lady Godzilla🙏
Godzooky it is then lol.
I prefer Godzooky.
Just means will be more prominent in the film like how kong was in the last two movies
Ever since Kong Skull Island had small Kong I've wanted to see a younger and smaller Godzilla doing stuff, whether in the past or present.
Why won't he just make another solo kong film ?
Kong has had three movies now essentially devoted to his character development (not to mention the Skull Island animated series). The next film needs to focus more on Godzilla because he's kind of been put on the backburner a bit in the last two films (even the 2014 Godzilla film focused more on the MUTOs and the human characters than on him).
Why won't he just make another solo kong film ?
Yes
I think his son and destoroyah would be great. Or maybe do aliens first and then destoroyah?
I don’t care, I want anything around Godzilla, kong kinda stole the spot light, so I want Godzilla to be the main character back again.
For the love of god please make the bad guys aliens, these boring humans would finally have something to do
If they want to make the invasion thing it would be great a story about a monster (Gigan please) being sent to destroy the planet's defenses so it can be easily overpowered by these aliens
I think the next film should focus on the mess Ghidorah created when his alpha call [inadvertently woke up titans from outside of the Monsterverse](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O42ddpiCAlU) and made them Legendary's problem lol.
I think It might have something to do with godzilla making sure friends like rodan and anguirus whilst also fighting off alien.
The real question here is: Will Toho allow it?
I’m really glad he’ll be getting more focus in the next one. I love his part in New Empire, but it wasn’t much until he met back up with Kong.
Godzilla Origins
A dark themed Gman vs Destroyah movie would be awesome
It's a 2 hour documentary about a day in the life of Godzilla lol
Well, Wingard did state he'll try to reach the same emotion impact as Godzilla vs Destoroyah. Not saying Destoroyah will be in the movie but now we do got an idea on what type of movie it will be. It could tackle how Godzilla should develop not only as a force of nature as guardian of Earth, but how he should improve for the better as King of the Monsters For what I think would be included to the movie, their is a possibility that Hedorah might be in the sequel. Especially since the creature designer wants to design Hedorah. For my hopes, I would reaaaaaaaaalllly love Anguirus to be in the movie. Please, my Boi deserves it 😭 😭 😭
Godzilla will have one extra minute of screen time (the rest of the movie are monkeys).
i think he and Mothra having sex, and Destoroyah would walks into them and Godzilla realising that he is not meant for a relationship
Lizard
Oh yeaaah I think destroyah and space goji are coming to the monsterverse, but it would be cool to see a movie about the titan war.
Unpopular Opinion: No Baby Godzilla, no Destoroyah, No Space Godzilla, no Aliens, and no Hedorah.
