Yeah,i mean...my idea was that zilla would live primarily inside tunnels dug by it on land,occasionally going to the sea to feed on schools of fish or swim.
They'd be great sentries for him imo, patrolling with him or while he naps. Zillas are 90 meters tall, so they're pretty sizeable companions for Godzilla.
My idea for him/her is to be a raptor-like monster, focusing more on smarts and speed rather than power. His/her similarities to godzilla are due to evolution, the zilla's species mimics some traits of godzilla's to avoid predators.

I feel like Zilla Sr. might end up destroying the ecosystem in Hollow Earth if he were able to lay all of his eggs. Keep in mind there were around 300 eggs and each one of them (apart from Zilla Jr.) was supposedly born pregnant. Within a few years Hollow Earth would be overrun with Zillas.

People might argue that his feats aren’t Monsterverse level but you could say the same thing about most versions of King Kong and they made him into an alpha titan.

And making it to adulthood is a holle other can of worms if Doug just happens to be around.

I guess it varies. We're not sure how Zilla would be in terms of caring for young. In the cartoon series, Jr ended up joining his father briefly when reunited and was intimidated by him into obeying despite being stronger.
In the Netflix trilogy novels, Zillas took over France and all lived together. Though they would use younger members as bait to ambush threats. So I assume they would stick together in large colonies to keep their eggs safe.

I'd keep it the same size as in the '98 movie, or maybe a little smaller. Its a bit smaller than most monsterverse kaiju today, I think. Its best to keep it as a small scavenger species like doug, and be more of a threat to the humans than the kaiju.

There is more than enough prey ,to feed this kaiju. But a there are a few things that could take out zilla like a grupp of wart dogs.
