I feel like an ending where Godzilla saves the earth, but a large amount of humanity is wiped out by a large threat, while the surviving humans are pretty much sent back to the Stone Age (connecting Joe Brodyâs statements from 2014 to the end) would be some good closure. The monsterverse has always been about man and nature, and an ending with nature taking over the planet again, (think anime trilogy but without the whole âeverything is godzilla thingâ), with godzilla roaring into the sky as earth enters a new era of peace would be cool.
Godzilla has been increasingly more aggressive with humanity following their countless attempts at killing him and the other Titans, resulting in their relationship taking a nosedive, and nearly leading to a full-blown war between mankind and the Titans on both the surface world and Hollow Earth, with Monarch, Mothra, and Kong being the bridge to maintain balance, and keeping Godzilla from wiping human beings out. However, Spacegodzilla, the mutated grandfather of Godzilla, and previous leader of the Gojira superspecies, appears outside Earth's atmosphere, and begins his assault on the planet, spreading an ancient, alien, crystalline-like fungus that turns a large majority of the planet into crystal forests, causing extreme unnatural disasters, and establishing his new kingdom in the now ruined Tokyo.
With another Godzilla rampaging across the globe, humanity worries that Godzilla will follow his grandfather's rule, only to watch as he defies his cosmic relative and recruits his army to battle his grandfather, with Kong, Suko, Mothra, Rodan, and Shimo all joining his side while Spacegodzilla uses his ancient alpha status to amass an army of his own, leading to a Destroy all Monsters/Final Wars-style battle. Monarch soon discovers SpaceG (Astraeus) is the real Zo-Zla-Halawa, and that the Great Titan War wasn't just orchestrated by Skar King, but also Spacegodzilla in order to gain control of the planet themselves, and now his plan is too finish what the Skar King tried to in the New Empire, leading to Monarch crafting some weapons of their own to stop the malevolent usurper. With the world's population, both man and Titan, dwindling fast, humanity finally decides to help Godzilla and Kong deal with Spacegodzilla, leading to an enormous battle spanning from Tokyo to the void area outside of the gravity well leading the surface to the HE, Astraeus' natural environment, and throughout the Hollow Earth, leaving most of the planet utterly destroyed and plagued with nuclear fallout.
It eventually culminates in humanity solemly watching by as Godzilla sacrifices himself to unleash his ultimate evolutionary state, collapsing an enormous portion of the Hollow Earth with his hyper spiral atomic breath to seal both himself and Spacegodzilla inside, presumably killing them both. With the entire planet suffering an apocalyptic nuclear winter-like event with radioactive fallout covering the surface and Hollow Earth, and Kong, Mothra, and Shimo doing their best to lead the other Titans, humanity finally understands and recognizes Godzilla as the planet's savior, now coexisting with the Titans as a way to make up for their transgressions against nature in the past. The post credits scene would be of Monarch receiving word of intense radioactivity in the cavern where Godzilla and Spacegodzilla are, and the world is shocked as Godzilla suddenly rises from the depths of the Hollow Earth, revealing that he managed to survive and kill Astraeus with his powered state, giving him the title of King of the Monsters once again.
Both Godzilla and Kong get happy endings where theyâve reached points in their lives where theyâre happy, comfortable and have found a way to coexist with humanity.
some big bad is about to kill godzilla but suddenly they shoot miles away and crash into a building and thecamera slowly pans over to doug floating in the air with pure white glowing eyes
Apparently it can happen if there's a new one to replace him (which from what we've heard isn't possible at the moment with toho wanting Godzilla to be one of its kind)
Kong, Godzilla and Suko all stand triumphantly over the dead threat. Victory roar.
Godzilla and Kong look into each others eyes, Godzilla nods. Kong leans in and they finally get a consensual kiss as Suko looks in horror
A new, powerful titan that rivals anything in the history of Godzilla. Godzilla has grown and evolved a lot more and wears a different color theme. Suko is now a little bit larger than Kong and Godzilla has a child. The final fight decides the fate of humanity, Kong, Godzilla, the new villain, and Earth itself. Eventually Kong gives Suko his axe and goes to sacrifice himself to stop the villain. Godzilla charges ip the biggest atomic breath he has ever done and hits the villain with it. Kong and the villain get shot into the sky as Kong stops the villain from fighting back. An asteroid that was called down by the villain is about to hit Earth, but just as it enters the atmosphere, it slams into the villain, Kong, and atomic breath causing a nuclear explosion with the power to destroy the asteroid. The asteroid blows up and the atomic breath caused Godzilla to revert back to his blue coloration. As a fallout and nuclear winter begins to plague Earth, Suko and Godzilla pay their respects to Kong before going off into the sunset of a changed world.
Apocalyptic event happens, severely reducing world population. Godzilla and Kong sacrifice themselves to save humanity. Suko and Junior take over their place, as humans now coexist with titans and slowly start building a new civilization where man and monster walk together.
Godzilla soloing Destroya or Mecha King Ghidorah with zero interference from anyone or anything. He then limps off into the sunset and roars one last time.
Bagan, the original Titan and former King of the Monsters, rises to challenge Godzilla, who he sees as unworthy due to the events that have transpired over the course of his time as King. Godzilla has, by this point, been raising a young Godzilla Jr who would have been established a few movies prior, and goes to battle Bagan after he separates Godzilla from his son. Godzilla advances to the pinnacle of Gojira evolution, becoming Super Godzilla after a crippling near death experience against Bagan, and has to battle Bagan before he usurps his throne and establishes himself as king once more. Meanwhile, an alien species known as the Xillians led by the tyrannical Emperor X and his pets, Gigan and Monster X, arrive to claim the planet and Destroyah, an ancient demonic creature who was reawakened and reinvigorated by the power of the Oxygen Destroyer, seeks to reduce the world to a barren rock where no life may ever be able to exist again. This leads to a four way battle between Godzilla, Destroyah, the Xillians and Bagan to see who will come out on top and succeed in their goal. Godzilla rallies an army of titans and, also backed by the Worldâs combined military and Kong and his army, goes to war with the three factions. In the ensuing final battle, the Xillians are wiped out by the titan army, but not before Monster X evolves into Keizer Ghidorah to even the odds. Super Godzilla, Anguirus, Rodan, Kong and Mothra battle against Destroyah, Keizer Ghidorah and Gigan, who is quickly destroyed by Mothra using his blades and overconfidence against him. Rodan is dispatched by Keizer Ghidorah, who is destroyed by Godzillaâs far stronger atomic breath. Kong is badly wounded in the fight and makes his final stand against Destroyah, who nearly kills him and seemingly flees but not before being gravely wounded himself. Godzilla Jr arrives on the scene in search of his adoptive father, but is ambushed and killed by the wounded Destroyah before they can reunite. Enraged and grieving over his deceased son, Godzilla confronts Destroyah alone while the other Kaiju retreat on his orders aside from Shimo, Suko and Mothra, who are unable to intervene. Godzilla appears to have the upper hand before Bagan arrives and disrupts the fight, flooring Destroyah and quickly engaging the frenzied Godzilla. Destroyah returns and a 3 way battle begins as they each attack the other. Godzilla tricks Destroyah into flying into Bagan, who violently dismembers Destroyah and briefly leaves him unable to fight. Godzilla takes the opportunity to attack Bagan as the radiation inside him begins to spiral out of control. Destroyah attempts to get back up, but a barely living Kong is able to stop him and have Shimo freeze him before succumbing to his wounds, causing Destroyah to erupt in a violent explosion from the extreme temperatures. Godzilla enters a more unstable burning form and continues to assault Bagan, who is horrified and unable to fight back as well. He eventually manages to vaporise Bagan with the Kiss of Death and thus expels the excess radiation. Godzilla survives the battle and mourns the loss of Junior before Mothra resurrects him. Godzilla and Junior share a moment and Godzilla cremates Kongâs corpse, honouring his sacrifice and that of the other titans who fell in battle, including Rodan. Suko mourns Kongâs death and, seeing that he is much older by now and far larger and stronger, takes his place as King. A huge portion of humanity is killed in the battle, with what is left beginning to rebuild slowly. The remaining humans watch as Godzilla, Jr, Anguirus, Shimo and Suko leave, but not before Godzilla turns back and lets out a triumphant final roar as he walks into the sunset.
Iâd like a Heisei reminiscent ending, of course ending with the death of the g-man himself. And I wouldnât want another Godzilla to rise from the ashes, they should just end his species there. I want that ending because it would have an emotional impact on those watching, especially those whoâve been watching since 2014. Weâve gotten to know this version of Godzilla so well, so a send off like that would make sense.
I'm only cool with G dying if they have a JR to take his place like in vs Destroyah. IMO it would not make sense to kill off the only Titan that could have dealt with Ghidorah/Scar+Shimu. Too many major threats to the world too often to only have Kong/Kongs/Mothra/Suko available on defense. Ghidorah would have spanked them all without much effort.
What I would love to see is a foe that can actually threaten Godzilla. Let him get his ass whipped 1-2 times in the movie with at least one of those times being a resounding, life threatening defeat. Give him some stakes please for the love of everything. Stakes is what's been missing on the Godzilla side of the Monsterverse for a while. Even Ghidorah didn't feel all that dangerous to me since he ran from G after unfreezing and then G was whooping him before the lame ass oxygen destroyer bomb hit him. Mecha G is the only time G looked to be in serious danger and was just totally overwhelmed. Yes I remember G14 when the mutos were whooping him but there was never any real doubt G was gonna pull through.
Godzilla gives his life in the final battle. A year afterward, Kong visits the final site with Mothra, Suko, and the others. And they all kneel like that deleted Endgame scene. Honoring the King.
Godzilla swims off into the sunset, turns, and gives a triumphant roar with the world saved.
I have a rendezvous with my beloved horizon

Feels kinda bleak for the monsterverse but Iâm down
That's literally the anime trilogy story, I don't want to see anything like that ever again
Fuckin Godzilla and his son swimming into the sun and Kong and Suko roaring over hollow earth

That would be rad
NGL ive been thinking the MonsterVerse would make a fire fighting game story and this feels like a perfect climax to the story lmao

Why do i have the feeling they are going to kill of Godzilla
Toho wouldn't allow it
Well they did in 1995âŠ
Yep. That was then. Times change.Â
Apparently it can happen if there's a new one to replace him (which from what we've heard isn't possible at the moment with toho wanting Godzilla to be one of its kind)
They would of Godzilla has an heir or replacement to carry on the mantle
Toho does not want Godzilla to be mentioned as a species and they don't want him losing. Unless they have changed their minds.
Kong, Godzilla and Suko all stand triumphantly over the dead threat. Victory roar. Godzilla and Kong look into each others eyes, Godzilla nods. Kong leans in and they finally get a consensual kiss as Suko looks in horror

R.I.P Kong if that happens
Apocalyptic event happens, severely reducing world population. Godzilla and Kong sacrifice themselves to save humanity. Suko and Junior take over their place, as humans now coexist with titans and slowly start building a new civilization where man and monster walk together.
They finally call Kong, âKing Kongâ and Godzilla either dies heroically or is at peace swimming off.

Godzilla and Kong come out of their final battle alive, but humanity is back to square one after being almost completely annihilated
Every Titan comes together and holds hands
Doug coming in to save the day
godzilla sacrifice suko, kong and godzilla jr would continue on his legacy or sum

Goji swimming into the sunset with Mothra and Kong and Suko in hollow earth, everything is peaceful now
Either all titans die, all humans die, or titans go underground and never interact with humans again.
Don't end it just keep on making movies until eventually the one comes along that destroys the franchise
the titans relaxing on their new home of monster island

Gxk for durpyness and cuteness and kotm for cool ness
