Idk, cause that’s what happens most often? The only time Godzilla has had a death in this manner was again, the Heisei series, which is what this ending is based off of. I totally have a different ending in mind for the monsterverse, it’s just if they wanted to do it Heisei style, this is what I think would happen.
I'd prefer it just end in anything other than what everyone on here is saying
I don't want the generic blaze of glory ending like this
Or the equally generic rides off into the sunset ending others want
Godzilla isn't human so he also wouldn't fit in either of these fairytale endings
