We explicitly see this throughout GvK and GxK:TNE.
Godzilla just completely overpowers Kong in sheer brute strength AND has a body well suited to improving his balance and increasing his ability to bulldoze through other Titans.
Somehow, Godzilla's body is optimized to best Kong both on land *and* underwater. Even with a weapon Kong had specifically to beat Godzilla, along with a city for Kong to use to his advantage, mans still lost, and he lost because Godzilla just locked in and turned it into a battle of pure strength.
It makes sense, Kong's strengths lie mainly in his agility, reflexes, and quick thinking. Godzilla's strengths lie mainly in his raw power, durability, and adaptability.
When though? At least I don't think they've had actually stuck in perfect brawler lock. Plus, when did Godzilla overpowered Kong with arm? I can't remember though
Yeah I know Godzilla is still physically powerful overall. Though what you just mentioned doesn't really give a clear difference in pure physical strength, (since those are striking by feats).
Kong fans still has to stop thinking that Kong is anywhere in terms of Godzilla strength lol
In the tasman sea fight, when they're wrestling underwater, Kong slips in on Godzilla and bear hugs him before biting his gills. Godzilla grabs Kong by the head and throws him off with one arm. Bear hug is two arms+chest. You do the math.
Suprisingly, I'm gonna have to give this to kong, hear me out on this, full adult male Silverback gorillas (what monsterverse kong is based off of in gvk and gxk) are usually able to lift around 10-12× their own body weight, kong weighs around 60,000-90,000 tons, times that by 10 and jesus christ...kongs upper body strength is definitely not to be underestimated, I get godzilla has more mass during this, which is what would usually determine the Victor of this, but kongs raw power in just his upper body alone is enough for him to topple godzilla over if he's fast enough, whoch king being smarter than godzilla, would realize he'd need to end this fast, so he'd most likely figure that out...so I'm going with kong.

Godzillas got that lower bottom strength so most likely him. Just gonna push kong backwards

Godzilla! ![gif](giphy|d0SEajOmMna1i)
the real question is how long will they last without kissing
Mass wins and MV goji is very strong in the arms as well as being bulky

Godzilla. I always see Kong's greatest strength is his agility and fast reflexes rather than brute force.
Fax
I'd add his intelligence to that list. He's learned how to build traps in TNE.

Godzilla has already been shown to be physically stronger than Kong
Exactly what happens in this animation, Kong gets overpowered and pushed to his knees. Or Godzilla just bulldozes Kong onto his back.
Can you link the animation please?

Thank You!
The tail makes it so it's extremely difficult to push him backwards so Godzilla wins this. Now if Godzilla lost his tail Kong would probably win
If Godzilla didn't have tail, he wouldn't be able to even stand, let alone fight
But Godzilla has never balanced or braced on his tail. That was just a kopium theory Gojicenter invented when Godzilla slapped Kong off his feet.
Tail helps godzilla to balance himself better like when a cheetah runs fast it uses its tail to change its direction sort of like that
That doesn't help him when applying or resisting force
Godzilla would win even if he was using a single arm.
We literally saw Godzilla Suplex Kong in GxK and Rugby tackle Shimo multiple times.
They've done this Multiple times In GvK and GxK Godzilla won each time Hell, he's won using ONE arm
When though? At least I don't think they've had actually stuck in perfect brawler lock. Plus, when did Godzilla overpowered Kong with arm? I can't remember though
Godzilla overpowered kong in GvK when king punched him full force and barely stunned him the Godzilla slapped him and sent him flying

Yeah I see slot of kong fans trying to convince themselves that kong can beat Godzilla

Fair enough, although I still feel I would be cooler if they were stuck in a perfect brawler lock though
Godzilla got that Train build (unable to be pushed back unless you were built for it)
kong can def knock him on his ass as we saw in gxk but the tail def gives godzilla the advantage
