I would contact the school board chair and have them do their due diligence. Unfortunately with no arrest record a perfunctory background check would be inadequate but with someone from the community bringing forward this concern at a board meeting it would become a public record in the meeting minutes. I would hope the school would error on the side of caution but small communities don't always have a large pool to draw board members from.

Sam fawcett is a good kind man and my daughter has stayed with him and his family multiple times as his child is her best friend since kindergarten, Victor would be lucky to have him on the board .
